Abstract

The problem in this study is that student learning outcomes have not been maximized. The purpose of this study is the effect of Make A Match Learning Model Against Student Learning Outcomes in Natural Science Subjects in Class VI SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor. The population of this research is all students of Class VI of SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor, with a total of 50 students and the study sample is divided into two parallel classes. Data collection tools used are tests and data analysis used are normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using an Independent Test between two factors. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of Natural Sciences Magnet material and its properties after using the Make A Match Learning Model in Class VI SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor, obtained an average value of 82.57 and student learning outcomes in the subjects Science of Magnet Material and Its Properties after using Conventional Learning in Class VI Medan Johor State Elementary School, obtained an average value of 76.23. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of Make A Match Learning Model Against Student Learning Outcomes in Class VI SD Negeri 060937 Medan Johor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of students in learning sound material in science subjects and students' learning difficulties in sound material in science subjects and the factors that cause student learning difficulties. This research was conducted in the fifth grade of SD Negeri 046577 Munte for the 2020/2021 academic year. The population of this study were students of class V and the sample of this study were all students of Class V, totaling 25 people. The instruments of this research are tests and interviews. Descriptive and qualitative data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the tests in the study, it was found that the students' ability to work on the sound material and their propagation average value of 63.2 was included in the criteria of underprivileged with difficulty working on question number 1, namely writing down the meaning of sound with a percentage of difficulty 60 (%) or included in the criteria. enough, in question number 2, which is to write down the meaning of the characteristics of sound with a difficulty percentage of 40 (%) or fall into the low criteria, in question number 3, which is to explain 5 causes of sound with a difficulty percentage of 64 (%) or enter into high criteria, in question number 4, which is to explain the propagation of sound through the medium of solids, liquids, and gases with a percentage of difficulty 72(%) or in the high criteria, in question number 5 explain why sound travels faster through solids with a percentage of 84(%) ) or fall into the very high criteria. The factors that cause student difficulties are students who do not understand the sound material and its propagation because they are not interested in learning it and never repeat the science lesson on sound material.

Abstract

This study aims to know the use of Field Trip learning methods to improvestudent learning outcomes in High Class Science courses. This type of research is ClassAction Research. The results of the study show that in the first cycle data obtained fromstudent learning outcomes in a classical still low, namely from 31 students there wereonly 3 people (9.68%) with very good learning outcomes, and 5 people (16.13%) withcategories good, 12 people (38.71%) in sufficient categories, while student learningoutcomes in the category of less than 11 people (35.48%). Then after the second cycle,with the application of the Field Trip learning method student learning outcomesincreased to 6 people (19.35%) with very good learning outcomes, 17 people (54.84%)with good categories, whereas with the category there were only 7 people (22.58%), butthere is still one person (3.23%) whose learning outcomes are still relatively poor. Basedon the results of testing hypotheses conducted by the researcher, conclusions wereobtained by using the Field Trip learning method that could improve the learningoutcomes of primary education students in the Quality University in the High ClassScience Education course.
