Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is one of disease that frequently occurs in Indonesia.Generally, diabetes mellitus is characterized by increased blood sugar levels. Diabetesmellitus is not only a disease that spread in urban areas but also has now become adisease that is spreading in rural areas. The spread of diabetes up to the village is verythreatening to the public health conditions in the village. This is because knowledge ofthe villagers about the disease diabetes mellitus in terms of the causes or signs for thesufferer was low. As was the case in the dukuh Candran, Sentono village, Klaten ,Central Java.Residents in the dukuhCandrandonot understand diabetes mellitus andhow the examination and treatment. Under these conditions, the program of diabetesmellitus and checkingblood sugar levelswas held in the dukuh  Candran with the aimthat the citizens can gain knowledge of diabetesmellitus on the characteristics of thedisease, how to inspection, to how the disease anticipates.

Abstract

Indonesia as a country with great potential resources should have a number ofentrepreneurs are numerous. But in fact the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia doesnot reach 1% of the total population density. This is because people generally do notwant to be entrepreneurs because of a big risk and minimal knowledge. As happened inthe dusun CandranSentono village, Klaten , Central Java,where villagers are so rare thatbecome entrepreneurs. The potential resources are plentiful enough in the dusunCandran one banana hump that can be used as a product that has a pretty goodeconomic value if managed and marketed well. Under these conditions, the creation ofnew programs held in the hamlet of entrepreneurial spirit through training Candranchips manufacture and marketing of banana hump. Through the training of citizens canunderstand how to cultivate and exploit the natural resources around the existing onebanana hump that can be used as chips economic value and can learn how to packageand market the product well. The training also improve the morale of citizens forentrepreneurship by utilizing available resources.

SDN 01 Sentono is one of the elementary schools for people in Sentono Village. Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) is important to do to know about  the performanceof the buildings and also to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of theperformance of the building in the shade of the school function.

Abstract

Mapping is needing to help village’s government in order to make decisions which related to the location. Digital Mapping is choosen because the maps would be easy toto be revised and could reach  every changes fastly. Digital maps is created using GoogleEarth, and the file is delivered to the local goverment to be used as well.

Abstract

Attitude fond of saving needs to be instilled in children from an early age to avoid the behavior of shoppers. The author tried to instill awareness fond of saving onchildren of Sentono village with variety of interesting wayss named Sentono SavingsProgram. Children are expected to remain consistent saving although the programfinished running.

Abstract

Soy bean as a harvest of dusun Sentono should be use as maximized as can. It willincrease profit if people could precess soybeans, for example by making soy milk. Based on that, the authors conducted a community service activities that teach teens andmother how to made soy milk.

Good and harmonious relationship between husband and wife does not just happen. It requires a great effort from both sides. In some cases, most of  youngmarriage couples have not been able to understand deeply about the role and duties ofbeing marriage. Therefore, there should be education about the psychology of husbandand wife, especially in the dusun  Sentono, which has a lot of young marriage couples.
