Abstract

The aim in this study was to determine and analyze the wooden furniture business prospects in Sub Arga Makmur. This research using descriptive analysis. Results of this research is the length of a business carried on in the wooden furniture business unit Arga Makmur District of average between 1015 years, namely by 60%. The average amount of labor which is owned by each business unit wooden furniture in Arga Makmur District of average between 1-3 labor as many as 19 business units or about 63.3%. The amount of capital spent by the wooden furniture business in Arga Makmur District of Rp 10,000,000, - with a business turnover of wood furniture production bekisar Rp 10,000,000, - s/d Rp 15.000.000, - per month. The entrepreneurs receive income ranges between Rp 2.000.000, - s/d Rp 3,000,000, - per month. In addition, the wooden furniture business in District Arga Makmur is also able to open the field of business and labor intensive. Constraints faced by businesses wood furniture is a lack of education employers and labor, the lack of market infrastructure, lack of technology used. Pengelolahan wood furniture businesses in the district Arga Makmur still simple. However, the wooden furniture business in Sub Arga Makmur able to provide considerable benefits to employers and can increase local economic development. Business opportunities will be made better if the constraints faced in running a business is able to overcome with good.  Key Words: Business Prospect, Employment, Capital

Abstract

Sistem pembangunan insfrastruktur penyediaan air bersih yang di kelola oleh PDAMkhususnya di Kota Bengkulu masih mengalami kendala sehingga belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhanair bersih masyarakat secara total. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pembangunaninfrastruktur PDAM Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Alat analisa yangdigunakan adalah Analisa Deskriptif rasio rata-rata yang dipakai untuk mengkaji dan mengevaluasipembangunan insfrastruktur PDAM di Kota Bengkulu. Selama periode 2010-2015 dengan melihatdata jumlah penduduk, jumlah surat permohonan masyarakat, jumlah sambungan rumah yangterlayani, jumlah daftar tunggu, dan panjang pipa PDAM kota Bengkulu. Hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa bahwa kinerja pembangunan PDAM Kota Bengkulu pada tahun 2012 mengalamipenurunan, hal ini terlihat dari meningkatnya persentase masyarakat yang belum dapat terlayani olehPDAM Kota Bengkulu dari 18,5% pada tahun 2010, menjadi 16,1% pada tahun 2011 dan meningkatmenjadi 21,4% pada tahun 2012, ini artinya terjadi penurunan kinerja PDAM dari tahun 2010 2012dengan jumlah peningkatan masyarakat yang belum terlayani oleh PDAM sebesar 5,3%. Namun padatahun 2013 2015 persentase masyarakat yang belum terlayani oleh PDAM Kota Bengkulumengalami penurunan, yang juga diikuti oleh penurunan jumlah nyata masyarakat yang belumterlayani oleh PDAM Kota Bengkulu, hal ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kinerja PDAM KotaBengkulu pada tahun 2013 2015.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the potential of aquaculture subsector, knowing the prospsect of aquaculture subsector development, and designing appropriate strategies for the development of aquaculture subsector in Central Bengkulu Reqency. This research is explanatory research. Sample was take by purposive sampling and accidental sampling counted 20 samples. Data collected by documentation and questionnaire. Data analyzed by Descriptive analyzes were used to analyze the potential and prospects of fisheries and SWOT analysis is used to determine the aquaculture sub-sector development strategy in Central Bengkulu Regency. From result of data analysis and research showed Central Bengkulu has the potential to develop aquaculture subsector. Aquaculture subcector in Central Bengkulu Regency has prospects to develop more optimal, where new production reached 22.17 % of the existing production prospect so that intensification of land productivity so as to achieve producticn 14,761.60 tonnes/year in the existing cultivation area. To achieve the production, aquaculturecan also provide employment is 13.581 people, aquaculture sub-sector development strategy in Central Bengkulu district conducted is a progressive strategy, which is done optimizing the development of aquaculture subsector.
