Abstract

Teachers’ work satisfaction becomes one of dimensions for measuring the teachers’ performance in carrying out their educational tasks. Work satisfaction is originated from the establishment of motivation as the unity of concept of needs, encouraging objectives and rewards. Satisfaction is a perception of an individual under which he feels that he has perceived what he hopes through his job, where there is no significant difference between his want and his gain. Work satisfaction is experienced by teachers in relation to their duties and responsibilities as educational staff at schools.             This research is intended to identify the determining exogenous variables consisting of schools’ organizational climate, head masters’ leadership, teachers’ professionalism and work motivation, and the manifest variables’ indicators which directly or indirectly influence the teachers’ work satisfaction at SMUs in Madiun.             This research is served under corelational design by confirmatory model which is initiated by a thorough theoretical review. The confirmatory factors is served to measure the model fitness towards the data drawn for analysis. Model fitness implemented in this research is Goodness of Fit (GOF).             The analysis is carried out based on the linear relationship among variables under Structural Equation Model (SEM) by Linear Structural Relationship (LISREL).             The overall analysis results in conclusions that: determining factor which influence the teachers’ work satisfaction is schools’ organizational climate by 0.335, successively the determining factor of headmasters’ leadership and work motivation show the equal score of 0.349  and determining factor of teachers’ professionalism shows the least score of 0.282. This recommends a serious attention of the local authority to encourage the development of teachers’ professionalism indicators which can not be inevitably overlooked for educational quality.             The total direct influence of motivation towards the teachers’ work satisfaction is 0.349. The confirmatory analysis shows that the teachers’ motivation is fit which is proved by the significance of motivation variable at the level of α/2 (0.025) equals to ± 1.96. Being seen under probability (P) score, all of the motivation dimension variables are less than 0.05 so as to confirm that the loading factor is significant.             The overall analysis results in conclusions that: determining factor which influence the teachers’ work satisfaction is schools’  dimention recognition with estimate value 0,628. Its means recognition dimention of variable (Y2)  to be explanation for 62,8%, and more than  60,6% influence reserachs for other variable.

Abstract

One out of the most critical educational issues in Indonesia is the questionable quality of education at every level and unit. Managerial problems of education have already been existing since Orde Baru, when Integrated Development School (IDS) was firstly inacted being followed by Schoool-Based Management (SBM). Both are the same except the operating system; IDS tends to be centralized while SBM tends to be  decentralized. Both work for the development of educational quality, but IDS, is regarded less accomodative with its old-fashioned paradigm, in line with inaction of Regulation No 22, year 1999. The regulation brings about conse-quences of regional authorities to manage regional development, including educational sector. SBM has been proposed to offer school autonomy in establishing school policies in accomodating the development in quality, effeciency and distribution by the optimal colaboration of schools, society and goverment. This reserach is served to identify the significance of SBM against the quality improvement of education at SMK PGRI Wonoasri.The research is conducted at SMK PGRI Wonoasri, under the total sampling technique, coping with all of 63 teachers. The data for analysis are promary data which are taken by direct observation with questionaires, and interviewing techniques. The analysis is carried out by simple linear regression technique and product moment correlation technique of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) for windows, version 17.0.The results of computation shows that product t is 8.249, which is significant in comparison with the table t of 2.000 under the significance level pf 5%. The regression computation result in score of 0.726 at the significance of 0.000. based on the computations, the implementation of SBM influence significantly on the educational quality development at SMK PGRI Wonoasri.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the estimated Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) in association with the Profit Planning at Tlogo Mas Hotel Sarangan. Analytical techniques used in this study were: (1) Classify all costs incurred in the variable costs (variable costs) and fixed costs (fixed cost). (2) Method of least squares analysis. (3) Analysis of the breakeven point (Break Event Point / BEP). The results showed that Tlogo Mas Hotel Sarangan determine the profits of 10% of total sales. It is seen from the fluctuations experienced profit growth each year from 2009 to 2011.

Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan suatu proses dalam rangka menciptakan suasana yang memungkinkan siswa dapat belajar dengan nyaman. Dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran terdapat berbagai cara atau keterampilan yang digunakan untuk menciptakan kondisi siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Apakah terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar akuntansi  siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Wungu dengan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing dengan Talking Stick. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian hubungan komparatif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Wungu. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Wungu sejumlah 32 siswa. Penentuan sampel dengan teknik sampling jenuh yaitu penentuan sampelnya sejumlah populasi yaitu 32, 16 siswa kelas XII IPS 1 sebagai kelas Snowball Throwing dan 16 siswa kelas XII IPS 2 sebagai kelas Talking Stick. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes. Data diperoleh dari soal tes yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi satu jalan sel sama dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Ada perbedaan prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Wungu dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing dengan tipe Talking Stick. Penggunaan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing lebih sesuai dari pada metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick dalam peningkatan prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Wungu, karena ada peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa dari segi kerjasama, bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan dengan model pembelajaran baik dengan teknik tanya jawab berpasangan maupun dengan diskusi kelompok.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the company's financial performance , both in terms of liquidity, solvency, profitability and activity of PT .Millennia Astalia Educatindo Madiun from 2010 until 2012. The processed data is the data that comprises the financial statements of the balance sheet and income statement. Methods of data processing by using ratio analysis consisting of the ratio liquidity, profitability, solvency and activities. The method used is descriptive method, the research seeks to collect and present data from the company to be analyzed so as to provide a fairly clear picture of the object under study. Because of financial ratios is one tool in evaluating the company's financial condition and performance , it is expected that through the analysis of financial statements may consideration in making decisions, especially regarding the financial condition in the future. Besides, the analysis of financial statements to describe the company's actual financial performance. The results showed that the ratio of liquidity include the current ratio and quick ratio increased, although still below the industry average. For profitability ratios include gross profit margin and operating profit margin increased in 2012 despite the decline was due to the increased cost of goods sold. Solvency ratios while covering a total debt to equity ratio and total debt to capital assets shows a marked improvement by decreasing solvency ratio from year to year. Nonetheless Solvency ratio still can’t to be categorized either as it is still above the industry average. The ratio of activity which includes receivable turnover and total asset turnover has fluctuated, rising in 2011 but dropped in 2012. Nonetheless Activity ratios are well below the industry average, which means the company has not been effective in utilizing existing resources.

Abstract

Standar nasional pendidikan adalah kriteria minimum yang harus dipenuhi dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan. Standar Nasional Pendidikan meliputi Standar Isi, Standar Proses, Standar Kompetensi Lulusan, Standar Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan, Standar Sarana Prasarana, Standar Pengelolaan, Standar Pembiayaan, Standar Penilaian. Untuk menjaga kualitas pendidikan, konsistensi dari fungsi dan tujuan pendidikan, maka kurikulum, proses pembelajaran, maupun manajerial secara keseluruhan harus mengacu dan berpedoman pada Standar Nasional Pendidikan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui Penerapan 8 Standar Nasional pada SMP Negeri 2 Dolopo (2) Memberikan Masukan berdasarkan temuan tentang penerapan 8 Standar Nasional Pendidikan guna Meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan pada SMP Negeri 2 Dolopo.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif. Jenis penelitian adalah studi kasus. Data yang digunakan adalah data Primer. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data adalah Triangulasi Sumber dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, dan Threats (Analisis SWOT). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) Hasil analisis Strenght (Kekuatan) adalah sekolah sudah merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi sebagian besar indikator dalam pemenuhan Standar Nasional Pendidikan sehingga meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sekolah. (2) Hasil analisis Weakness (kelemahan adalah keterbatasan anggaran dana dan sumber daya manusia baik peserta didik, pendidik, maupun tenaga kependidikan dalam pemenuhan seluruh unsur Standar Nasional Pendidikan. (3) Hasil analisis Opportunities (peluang) adalah Pemberian workshop dan pelatihan kepada pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sekolah, dan perencanaan, pelaksanaan pembiayaan serta evaluasi penganggaran yang baik memberikan dampak positif terhadap semua unsur operasional sekolah maupun sarana prasarana sekolah. (4) Hasil analisis Threats (Tantangan) adalah perencanaan, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi serta tindak lanjut yang tidak dijalankan dengan manajemen yang baik dalam upaya pemenuhan Standar Nasional Pendidikan akan menghambat peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sekolah. (5) Hasil penerapan Standar Nasional Pendidikan pada SMP Negeri 2 Dolopo menggunakan analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa Kekuatan lebih besar daripada Kelemahan dan Peluang lebih besar dari Ancaman, yang berarti Standar Nasional Pendidikan telah terpenuhi dan menghasilkan Akreditasi Sekolah nilai A.
