Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan (action research) sebanyak tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: rancangan, kegiatan dan pengamatan, refleksi, dan revisi.  Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Jaya Kecamatan Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes formatif dan lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu, siklus I (67,85%), siklus II (75,00%), siklus III (92,85%). Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis masalah atau problem based learning (PBL)  dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Jaya  Kecamatan Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Model pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam pembelajaran Biologi terutama pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, kontekstual berbasis masalah dan prestasiThis research uses three cycles of action research. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. The targets of this study were students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Jaya, Jaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The data obtained in the form of formative test results and observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (67.85%), cycle II (75.00%), cycle III (92.85%). Based on the data obtained from this study, learning using a problem-based contextual learning model or problem based learning (PBL) can have a positive effect on student achievement in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Jaya, Jaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. This learning model can be used as an alternative in learning biology, especially on the material structure and function of plant tissues.Keywords: Effectiveness, problem-based contextual and achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan: (1) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dalam mempelajari fotosintesis melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, (2) untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dan siswa selama proses belajar mengajar dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan (3) untuk melihat respon belajar siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Jaya dari bulan Agustus sampai bulan September 2022. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII MIPA 2 sebanyak 26 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi, angket, dan tes dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian aktivitas guru pada siklus I 78,15% dan pada siklus II 93,76%, aktivitas siswa pada siklus I 70,11% dan pada siklus II 85,16% dan hasil test menunjukkan peningkatan dari siklus I 66,92% menjadi 85% pada siklus II. Sedangkan respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT sangat baik yaitu mencapai 91,76%. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi pada materi fotosintesis siswa kelas XII MIPA 2 di SMAN 1 Jaya.Kata Kunci: Numbered Heads Together, Hasil Belajar, FotosintesisThis research was conducted with the following objectives: (1) To determine student learning outcomes in studying photosynthesis through cooperative learning of the NHT type, (2) to determine the activities of teachers and students during the teaching and learning process using the NHT type of cooperative learning model and (3) to see the response student learning after the application of the NHT type cooperative learning model. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Jaya from August to September 2022. The subjects in this study were 26 students of class XII MIPA 2. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) using two cycles. The research results obtained from observation sheets, questionnaires, and tests were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results of the research on teacher activity in the first cycle were 78.15% and in the second cycle 93.76%, student activity in the first cycle was 70.11% and in the second cycle 85.16% and the test results showed an increase from 66.92% in the first cycle to 85% in cycle II. Meanwhile, the students' response to the application of the NHT type of cooperative learning model was very good, reaching 91.76%. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model of the NHT type can improve the learning outcomes of biology in the photosynthetic material of class XII MIPA 2 students at SMAN 1 Jaya.Keywords: Numbered Heads Together, Learning Outcomes, Photosynthesis

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Calang selama tiga bulan sejak bulan Januari sampai Maret 2020  bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman melalui penggunaan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada materi reaksi reduksi oksidasi siswa kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas 2 siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa-siswi Kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang tahun pelajaran 2019/ 2020 sebanyak 21 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif hasil observasi. Melalui penggunaan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada reaksi  reduksi oksidasi mata pelajaran kimia siswa kelas X IPA 2 pada SMA Negeri 1 Calang diperoleh hasil tes pada siklus I  dengan persentase ketuntasan 71,4 % nilai rata-rata kelas 72,8 dan meningkat pada hasil tes siklus II 85,7 % dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 78,2. Pada kedua siklus ini terjadi perubahan aktifitas dan perolehan nilai yang signifikan bila dibandingkan dengan pra siklus dengan ketuntasan belajar yang hanya mencapai  52,4 % dan nilai rata-rata adalah 69,1. Dengan demikian  melalui penggunaan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi reaksi reduksi oksidasi siswa kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang.Kata Kunci :  Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL),  Reaksi Reduksi Oksidasi.This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Calang for three months from January to March 2020 aimed at increasing understanding through the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to the oxidation reduction reaction material for students of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. The research subjects were students of Class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang in the 2019/2020 school year as many as 21 students. Data analysis used comparative descriptive analysis techniques and qualitative descriptive analysis of observations. Through the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to the oxidation reduction reaction of the chemistry subjects of class X IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Calang, the test results in the first cycle were obtained with the percentage of completeness 71.4%, the average grade of 72.8 and increasing on the second cycle test results 85.7% with an average grade of 78.2. In these two cycles there was a significant change in activity and score when compared to the pre-cycle with learning completeness which only reached 52.4% and the average score was 69.1. Thus, through the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach, students can improve students' understanding of the material for oxidation-reduction reactions of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang.Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach, Oxidation Reduction Reaction.
