Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Banjarsari 2 Kota Serang pada mata pelajaran IPA tahun akademik 2016/2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah cluster sampling, yang terdiri dari kelas V a berjumlah 29 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan strategi inkuiri. Sedangkan kelas V b terdiri dari 32 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan strategi ekspositori. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara yang menggunakan strategi inkuiri dan strategi ekspositori. Kemudian hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan strategi inkuiri lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan strategi ekspositori. Kata Kunci : hasil belajar, inkuiri, ekspositori, ilmu pengetahuan alam.    Abstract. The purpose of this research was to knowing of differencess in learning outcomes of students SDN Banjarsari 2 kota Serang academic year 2016/2017. This research method is quasi experimental method. The sampling technique used is cluster sampling. In this research at V a were 29 students as experiment class with applying inquiry and at V b were 32 students as control class with applying expository. The summary of this research that it there are differences in learning out comes by using a inquiry and expository, and learning outcomes using inquiry is better rather than using expository. Keyword : learning outcomes, inquiry, ekspository, science.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA merupakan mata pelajaran yang krusial dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga memerlukan bantuan media agar peserta didik memahami konsep dengan baik terutama pada materi sistem peredaran darah. Adapaun yang menjadi tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan modul, mengetahui kelayakan modul serta mengetahui respon peserta didik setelah menggunakan bahan ajar modul berbasis HOTS dengan Pendekatan TPACK pada mata pelajaran IPA peserta didik kelas V. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Borg Gall yang diadaptasi oleh Sugiyono. Penelitian ini melalui enam tahapan yaitu 1) potensi dan masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi desain, 6) uji coba produk. Melalui tahap validasi diperoleh hasil tingkat kelayakan dari segi materi sebesar 85,5% dan masuk kategori “sangat layak”, dari segi desain media sebesar 81,5% dan masuk kategori “sangat layak”, serta dari segi bahasa sebesar 91% dan masuk kategori “sangat layak”. Kemudian setelah dilakukan revisi media sesuai dengan saran perbaikan validator, peneliti melakukan uji coba produk kepada peserta didik kelas V sebanyak 20 peserta didik dengan hasil 91,3% dengan kategori “sangat baik”.

Abstract

Abstract: Education in Indonesia has been disrupted by the COVID-19 virus pandemic which has caused learning to be carried out at home, and the government is trying to do its best in school policies, which eventually some schools have carried out online learning and offline learning with the imposition of restrictions. The policy eventually created new problems mainly due to the unpreparedness of schools to face online learning. The unpreparedness is caused by several factors, one of which is the ability of teachers to integrate technological and information advances into learning. The development of technology requires humans to have a high level of thinking ability, while the ability to think needs to be trained in the younger generation at the elementary school level. This study uses the RD (Resarch and development) method which aims to find out how the process of making learning applications, the feasibility of learning applications, student and teacher responses to metacognitive dimensions of HOTS-based learning applications with the TPACK approach. The metacognitive dimension HOTS-based learning application with the TPACK approach is an interactive learning media in the form of an android application that contains learning menus such as learning videos, LKPD, E-Books, online multiplayer quizzes, and learning implementation plans to provide an overview of the process of learning activities using learning applications. The learning application received a positive response from students and teachers with a percentage score of 91.04% of the 25 student respondents which means it belongs to the "excellent" category, and 90.80% of the 7 teacher respondents which means it is included in the "excellent" category which indicates the success of this research.Keywords: HOTS-based learning apps, TPACK approach, metacognitive dimensions, elementary school.  Abstrak: Pendidikan di Indonesia dewasa ini telah terganggu oleh adanya pandemi virus covid-19 yang menyebabkan pembelajaran dilakukan dirumah, dan pemerintah berupaya melakukan yang terbaik pada kebijakan-kebijakan sekolah yang akhirnya beberapa sekolah ada yang melakukan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) dan pembelajaran luar jaringan (luring) dengan pemberlakuan pembatasan. Kebijakan tersebut akhirnya menimbulkan masalah baru terutama karena ketidaksiapan sekolah menghadapi pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring). Ketidaksiapan tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan kemajuan teknologi dan informasi ke dalam pembelajaran. Dengan semakin pesatnya perkembangan teknologi mengharuskan manusia memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, adapun kemampuan berpikir tersebut perlu dilatih pada generasi muda di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode RD (Resarch and development) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembuatan aplikasi belajar, kelayakan aplikasi belajar, respon siswa dan guru terhadap aplikasi belajar  berbasis HOTS dimensi metakognitif dengan pendekatan TPACK. Aplikasi belajar berbasis HOTS dimensi metakognitif dengan pendekatan TPACK adalah media pembelajaran interaktif berupa aplikasi android yang berisi menu-menu belajar seperti video pebelajaran, LKPD, E-Book, kuis online multiplayers, dan RPP untuk memberikan gambaran proses kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi belajar. Aplikasi belajar mendapaktan respon positif dari siswa dan guru dengan nilai persentase 91,04% dari 25 responden siswa yang berarti termasuk kategori ”sangat baik”, dan 90,80% dari 7 responden guru yang berarti termasuk kategori ”sangat baik” yang menunjukan keberhasilan penelitian ini.Kata Kunci: Aplikasi belajar berbasis HOTS, pendekatan TPACK, dimensi metakognitif, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research was carried out on Tuesday, September 17 2024 at SDN Serang 04 with the aim of analyzing students' motivation towards listening skills in the science and sciences subject in class IV with material on plant body parts. This research uses a qualitative approach through descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used by researchers were observation, interviews and documentation. The number of students who were the objects of the researcher's research was 21 people. After researchers analyzed the motivation in students' listening skills, it turned out that the cause of this was students' lack of focus in listening and the use of less interactive learning media in class. Apart from that, the inhibiting factor is the role of the teacher in the learning process and the use of media, so that students are more passive in learning. The inhibiting factors for teachers in using learning media are the lack of school facilities and infrastructure, the lack of ability and creativity of teachers in using learning media so that the use of science and technology learning media has not been realized optimally. Therefore, researchers analyzed student motivation using learning media. The results of the research conducted by researchers can be concluded that the use of learning media can motivate students in their listening skills in the science and sciences subject in Class IV with material on plant body parts.

Abstract

Education aims to shape a whole person, differentiated learning is one approach that accommodates various learning needs such as readiness, interests and profiles. Differentiated learning in its application is not easy, this is where the important role of the driving teacher is, because the driving teacher has received special training that equips teachers with both knowledge and skills to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students. This study aims to describe: 1) The profile of the driving teacher. 2) The role of the driving teacher in planning and implementing differentiated learning. 3) Implications of the role of the driving teacher in implementing differentiated learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The informants in this study were the driving teacher and students in grades III, V and VI. The results of the study show that: 1) The profile of the driving teacher at SDN Cilegon II shows that teachers have diverse educational backgrounds, teachers are actively involved in professional development activities and make a real contribution to creating positive changes in schools. 2) In planning, teachers play a role in identifying learning needs and designing teaching modules with a differentiated approach, and in implementation, teachers act as guides, directors, facilitators, innovators, and motivators. 3) The implications of the role of the driving teacher have a positive impact on increasing self-esteem, motivation and interest in learning, as well as social and collaborative skills of students.

Abstract

The role of teachers in classroom management is one of the efforts to create a conducive learning atmosphere in the classroom. The efforts made by teachers in managing the class are due to the large number of students and the diversity of characters between individuals in one class, both in lower and upper elementary school classes, so that the role of teachers in managing the class is needed. This study aims to analyze the planning, process, supporting and inhibiting factors, and evaluation of the management of IA and VA classes at SDN Rawu. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the study showed that the planning of the management of IA and VA classes at SDN Rawu carried out by teachers was to design learning that was not monotonous and adjusted to the growth and development, abilities and characteristics of students in the class. In the process of managing IA and VA classes at SDN Rawu, teachers apply principles in managing the class to create a conducive learning atmosphere. The supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of IA and VA classes at SDN Rawu are the role of teachers as class managers and the number of students exceeding capacity. Classroom management carried out by teachers in the classroom shows that there is an evaluation, namely for an emotional deep approach and providing varied learning to prevent student boredom.

Abstract

This research and development aims to find out how to develop, suitability and response of students to LKPD with a scientific approach in training 4C skills in class V elementary school in theme 2 subtheme 1 of the 2nd learning. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods with a research and development research design by Borg & Gall. The subjects in this research were 28 class V students at Sukabela State Elementary School, Serang City, 2023/2024 academic year using purposive sampling technique. Based on the product validation results, material experts obtained an overall average percentage score of 92% with very appropriate criteria, media expert validation was 89.5% with very appropriate criteria, and language expert validation was 83% with appropriate criteria. So the overall product feasibility percentage reached 88.16% with very feasible criteria, and student responses obtained an average percentage score of 98.1% with very good criteria. Thus, LKPD with a scientific approach in training 4C skills in class V elementary school is very feasible and very good for use in the learning process of students in class V elementary school.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop a product in the form of Uno cards as a learning medium that contains science lessons on ecosystem themes with feasibility tests and student responses. The research method uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with 3D design including Definition, Design and Development. The research instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale for feasibility testing by a team of experts and a student response questionnaire. The results of the feasibility test for the Uno card learning media by a team of material experts were assessed as very feasible reaching 85%, media experts assessed it as very feasible reaching 85% and language experts assessed it as very feasible reaching 88%. The average result of all validators is 86% in the very feasible category. Product trials were carried out on grade 5 students at SD Negeri Merak III in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the student response test reached the very good category of 85%. Based on the results of expert validation and limited trials on students, the Ukos card game media can be a learning media that is suitabel for use in the learning process in schools.

Abstract

This article is based on the results of the needs analysis. The research comes from observations and interviews with teachers in one of the public schools, which is located in Cileles Lebak Banten. It is aimed to 1) find out how to develop Infinity Cube-based learning media on heat transfer materials to improve students’ learning activity at grade V, 2) find out the feasibility of learning media based on Infinity Cube heat transfer materials to improve students learning activities at grade V, and 3) find out students’ responses towards learning media based on Infinity Cube heat transfer material to increase students’ learning activity at grade V. The type of research used refers to the Research and Development method. Based on the research results from the validation of the material experts, the average score from the two experts was 87% in the very feasible category, the media expert test obtained an average score from the two media experts with a percentage of 80% in the very feasible category. The infinity cube media was tested on 24 fifth-grade students as a sample. Field trials of student responses from every aspect of material content, media display quality, and media significance obtained a score of 91.3% in the very feasible category. The students’ learning outcomes before using the media and after applying the second observation media from the acquisition of observational observations after the natural science learning subject process of heat transfer material using the Infinity Cube media obtained an increase based on the results of the first and second activity observation data analysis from 50% in enough category in the second observation to 90% in the high category, therefore, by using the media students seemed more active and motivated in learning. The recommendations for this research were 1) teachers in the use of media should pay more attention to making learning more fun so that learning did not seem monotonous, 2) with the media students were understood more what is explained and are more motivated in learning than before, 3) school needed to provide better facilities to support the learning process and students’ achievements, and 4) by conducting research in addition to developing learning media infinity cube, researchers, when were involved in schools, could develop further materials to follow-up in the use of learning media for teaching.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the development and worthiness of the pictorial story modules based on e-learning for the materials of economic activities on the social science subject, and to know learners' responses to the pictorial story modules based on e-learning for the materials of economic activities on the social science subject. The method used in this study was the research and development (RND) from Borg & Gall. This development used only 6 steps out of 10 steps, because of the time limit and the cost of researchers. The product assessment for the module's worthiness test was conducted by three experts: media experts, linguists, and materials experts, with the test subjects of scale limited to 20 students at Class IV-B of SD Negeri 13. The results of the feasibility of the module were 88%, meaning that the percentage value was categorized as "very worthy" criteria. Meanwhile, the results of the questionnaire of the students’ response obtained a percentage of 94%. Thus, it was categorized as "very worthy" criteria and exceeded the established research success criteria.
