Abstract

With regard to gender, there was no interaction effect between the environment for managerial development and gender on the use of managerial skills, although gender itself affect the managerial skills. In other words gender in environmental CV. Nusantara Abadi has no effect on the working environment, where the working environment has positive influence on the use of managerial skills. Instrumentality-expressiveness views which say that women are more interested in the work environment than men and men tend to be interested in working careers than women did not apply to the working environment in CV. Abadi Nusantara. Both men and women together to create a supportive working environment for managerial development, so that a positive work environment affect the use manajerial.Bila skills associated with a previous study, the research conducted by the Ziguang Chen, Norihiko Takeuchi, & Mitsuru Wakabayashi, there similarities and differences in research results. The equation is proven first hypothesis which states that the environment for managerial development of positive effect on the use of managerial skills. The difference with previous research results of this study are: When this study found no effect of interaction between the environment for managerial development and gender on the use of managerial skills, then the previous studies found no effect of interaction between the environment for managerial development and gender in the use of managerial skills. The study also found that a positive relationship between work environment and use of managerial skills are stronger in women managers. Keyword : Environment, Gender, Managerial

Abstract

This was an event study on the performance of stocks after the company conducted an IPO on the JSE. The goal is to find out what happened phenomenon outperformed short-term stock performance to what happened three months and underperformed the phenomenon of long-term stock performance for two years. Performance is measured by stock returns in the development of this research using the abnormal return. The samples were manufacturing companies in initial public offering period 1997-2001 a total of 27 companies. This method study using secondary data through the methods of documentation and literature. Data needed taken through the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD), JSX Statistics, http://www.finance.com, http://www.bkpm.go.id.. As for the long-term phenomenon occurred two years also outperformed the stock performance, indicated by a positive abnormal return of 1.42% but the performance increase was not significant, so the results of both studies do not support previous research that shows the long-term phenomenon underperformed (decrease in performance with with a negative abnormal return). Abstract

Di desaWijimulyo, Nanggulan, Kulon Progo, terdapat usaha tenun stagen bahan benang yang ditenun secaratradisional. Usaha tenun stagen  tersebut dijalankan oleh Industri Rumah Tangga yang sudah berjalan cukuplama, tetapi justru mengalami kemunduran.  Hal tersebut dikarenakan mereka (penenun)  belum dapatmemproduksi dengan jumlah yang besar, serta belum memiliki standar untuk menjaga kualitas produksinya.Permintaan pasar sebenarnya cukup bagus karena sudah 3 tahun terakhir ini hasil tenun stagen Wijimulyo menjadisalah satu komoditi ekspor dari kabupaten Kulon Progo,  tetapi kondisinya  terkendala pada keterbatasanproduksi, yang disebabkan oleh peralatan yang sudah kurang layak, keterbatasantenagakerja, keterbatasanmodal. Penenun stagen di wijimulyo ini sebagaian besar adalah tenaga kerja yang masuk kategori  usia lanjut,kurangnya regenerasi penenun ini menjadi salah satu penyebab terbatasnya jumlah produksi. Permasalahan lainmereka belum dapat menentukan biaya yang dikeluarkan sesuai dengan komponen biaya yang mereka keluarkansesungguhnya. Hal tersebutterlihatdenganbelumdihitungnyapenggunaan peralatan dalam memproduksi sepertikayu, jarum serta pengikat benang belum dimasukkannya biaya penyusutan, sehingga ketika mesin mereka rusakseperti sekarang ini mereka kesulitan untuk membeli yang baru karena keterbatasan dana. Mereka belum bisamemperhitung umur ekonomis peralatan yang mereka gunakan. Dengan berbagai permasalahan tersebutmenjadikan keinginan kami untuk melihat kondisi yang sebenarnya danberusaha memberikan solusi agarindustritenun stagen di desa Wijimulyo tersebutdapat bertahan menjadi desa tenun stagen, produksi meningkat, sehinggadapat meningkatkan pendapatan bagi penenun serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan penduduk sekitar yang terlibatdalam kegiatan tersebut.
