Abstract

In this study, the researcher seeks to see the extent of the potential for conflicts with ideological backgrounds carried out by former HTI members due to their efforts to hegemony political and religious actions in the City of Kediri. The form of research used in this research is field research. Field research is a type of research oriented to the collection of empirical data in the field. Testing the data in this study using transferability analysis. Testing this data is a modification of external validity in qualitative research. The research that has been carried out has shown that in the City of Kediri the infiltration of former HTI is not much different from the initial goal of establishing HTI, namely preaching Islam by propagating the establishment of a caliphate (pan-Islamism)internationally and the enforcement of sharia law for all mankind. The movements of former HTI members in Kediri City are indeed banned from their activities by the Government, but the fact is that their ideology is still alive in Kediri City. This received a different response from NU and Muhammadiyah in Kediri. NU City of Kediri is the most vocal organization in preventing the growth and development of HTI ideology to revive in the City of Kediri. Meanwhile, Muhammadiyah of Kediri City is more lenient in dealing with the ideology of the former HTI member. Although in essence Muhammadiyah itself agrees with the dangers of the HTI ideology.Keywords: Ex-HTI Ideology, Conflicts Potential, Nahdlatul Ulama, Muhammadiyah

Abstract

This article describes al-Ghazālī’s thoughts about Sufism which became a synthesis of philosophical considered extreme tasawwuf and literal and rigid Islamic jurisprudence. This paper argued that Al-Ghazālī attempted to mediate the situation of religion among Muslims who messed up because of tasawuf deviating from the principal teachings of Islam and Islamic jurisprudence and being used by the authorities as a measure to punish the Sufis categorically without considering the truth of their teachings. In his Iḥyā ‘Ulūmudīn, al-Ghazālī leans to his biggest thoughts about Sunni’s Sufism. It teaches theology such as tawḥīd, makhāfah, maḥabbah and ma’rifah, from which the concepts of tawbah, ṣabr, tawakkal, zuḥūd and riḍa came from. This article found that al-Ghazālī’s sufism is closer to practical tasawuf , which is built upon the Qur’ān and the Ḥadīth. al-Ghazālī also wrote his personal experience in his masterpiece.Keywords: Tasawuf, Islamic Jurisprudence, al-Ghazālī

Abstract

MBS is born with several different names: school-based governance, school self-management, and even school-based management. These terms do have an understanding with a slightly different emphasis. However, the names have the same spirit, ie the school is expected to become more autonomous in the implementation of school management, especially in the use of 3M its man, money, and material. The main objective is to develop school policy procedures, solve common problems, and utilize all potential individuals who are members of the team. So the school can only print people who are intelligent and emotionally high, but also can prepare the development workers. Therefore the Islamic education institution is very necessary to apply MPMBS to make the school as an integral part of society, it is not a separate institution of society, the right to life and the survival of the school depends on the community, the school is a social institution that serves to serve members of the community in education, school and community progress are mutually exclusive, both need each other.

Abstract

Background: Lembaga pendidikan Islam yang dikelola oleh sekelompok masyarakat, selalu saja membutuhkan kerjasama dan campurtangan pihak lain sebagai penyangga utama. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menertibkan pelaksanaan protokol kesehatan di Lingkungan Pesantren Lirboyo di masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode: pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Asset Based Community Development. Pendekatan ini menekankan pada inventarisasi aset yang terdapat di dalam kelompok masyarakat yang dipandang mendukung pada kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Hasil: Pemberian edukasi secara langsung telah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman santri mengenai pentingngnya menerpkan protokol kesehatan pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Kesimpulan: Kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan dalam lingkungan pondok pesantren Lirboyo sudah terlaksana dengan baik.

One of the leading figures ineducation from Turky is Fethullah Gülen with his Hizmet, in which science andreligion are to be integrated for all mankind regardless of race, ethnicity, religionand culture. His thoughts are often referred by many thinkers in contemporaryIslamic education as he is known as progressive thinker.
