Abstract

The substation has a great possibility of experiencing a hazard caused by the disturbance of lightning and overcurrent so that the current disturbance flows to the ground as a result of the insulation of equipment that is not functioning properly. One of the security systems on the substation is grounding. The grounding system is a delivery system that connects the system, equipment and installation bodies with the earth / ground so as to secure the human from electric shock, and secure the installation components from the dangers of abnormal voltage / currents. Therefore, research is conducted with respect to the grid earthing system on the Switchfield Substation (GI) switchyard. The research applies some data retrieval methods, namely: Literature study method, covering the studying literature related to earth system in switchyard area of ​​150 kV Bantul, and litrature related to earth type resistance calculation, soil type resistance, type of system earth, and type of electrode used. Based on the result of the analysis of the value of ground grid of Substation in Bantul is 0,527 Ohm. Or the difference in value of 0.043 Ohm or 7.54% smaller than the measurement value of 0.57 Ohm. Touch tension value of 207.5 Volts for people weighing 70kg, and 153.3V for weight 50Kg. with the actual maximum touch voltage value of 261.53 Volts. The step voltage value of 288.7 Volts for people weighing 70kg, and 213.3V for weight 50Kg. with an actual maximum step voltage value of 857.4 Volts.

Abstract

Insulation materials used to secure the power lines must be guaranteed in advance to endure, and perform as expecled. Insulation materials fatal failure in the operation of electric power, as it will cause the cessation of service.Those problems be a very interesting experiment, in this study will be carried out tests on the insulation tape made from rubber. Tests will be carried out in open air conditions and immersed in transformer oil. The testing focused on aspects of the thickness of the specimen.After testing that the test results of high voltage states, in the open air breakdown voltage greater because of the thickness affects the breakdown voltage. And when soaked breakdown voltage value decreases due to the ugly rubber chemical properties of oil resistance and solvent resistance.Insulating tape Scotch ™ 130C Linerless Rubber Splicing Tape 3M production has a breakdown voltage of 22 888 V in the open air with a thickness of 0.762 mm and 25 833 V transformer oil in a bath with a thickness of 0.762 mm for 20 minutes immersion.

Abstract

Aplikasi IC ISD 2590 adalah sebuah rangakain pengirim pesan, rangkaian tersebut menggunakan detector sinyal suara atau yang disebut Mic Codenser. Detektor ini akan mengaktifkan rangkaian jika sinyal suara tinggi tertangkap dan seterusnya akan dikirim ke relay. Fungsi relay sendiri adalah untuk menyalakan lampu dan mengaktifkan perekam pesan suara. Di sini, rangkaian perekam pesan suara menggunakan sebuah IC ISD 2590 yang dapat merekam selama 90 detik, durasi perekaman itu sendiri ditentukan oleh seri yang tertera di belakang nama jenis IC tersebut. Maka dari itu, hanya dengan merekam suara selama beberapa detik, IC ISD 2590 dapat menyimpan ke dalam Memory Voice yang tersedia. Jadi, ketika relay teraktifkan, maka pin Chip Enable dengan ground pada IC ISD 2590 akan terhubung sehingga suara yang telah direkam tadi akan diputar dan terdengar jelas melalui sebuah speaker. Penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi dengan memakai IC ISD 2590 dan IC SN7473, yang saklarnya menggunakan sinyal suara dengan aplikasi suatu pesan suara dan lampu penerangan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan gerbang-gerbang logika sangat efektif dan efisien, karena hanya dengan sistem digital dapat mengendalikan pengnyaklaran secara otomatis dan lebih efisien.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan sistem elektronik dewasa ini berkembang telah sangat pesat. Tidak terlepas dari hal tersebut, penggunaan alat-alat listrik meningkat seiring dengan kebutuhan pemakai untuk membantu aktifitas kerja. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan suatu alat yang dapat memproteksi peralatan-peralatan elektronik dari bahaya kebakaran akibat dari pemakaian energi listrik berlebihan yang mengakibatkan hubung singkat sehingga dapat terjadi kebakaran. Sensor arus ACS706ELC-20 membaca arus listrik yang mengalirinya dan menghasilkan tegangan dari 2,5VDC-4,2VDC. Dengan tegangan referensi yang dihasilkan oleh ACS706ELC-20, maka dapat dijadikan kendali pembatas arus. Alat ini bekerja berdasarkan kenaikan arus listrik yang melewati sensor ACS706ELC-20 akibat dari penggunaan alat-alat listrik. Dengan memasang driver berupa triac BTA41 maka beban yang terpasang dapat dikendalikan. Alat ini mampu untuk membatasi pemakaian arus listrik yang terpakai. Dalam alat ini terdapat sensor ACS706ELC-20 yang berfungsi untuk membaca arus yang terpakai, seven segment untuk menampilkan nilai arus yang terpakai, dan triac BTA41 untuk driver beban. Abstract

Fungsi dasar dari Sensor ultrasonik yaitu sebagai sensor untuk mengukur jarak, dengan kemampuan mengukur jarak dimungkinkan penggunaannya untuk mengukur kecepatan dengan menggunakan 2 sensor ultrasonik. Sistem pengukuran kecepatan ini yang pertama mengukur jarak pantul dari sensor ultrasonik kurang dari batas maksimal pemantaun. Sensor akan mulai menghitung waktu dan waktu akan berhenti saat sensor kedua mendapatkan pantulan. Besar nilai kecepatan yang didapat adalah hasil bagi antara jarak kedua sensor dengan waktu pantul antara dua sensor. Besarnya nilai kecepatan akan ditampilkan melalui LCD. Besarnya nilai kecepatan yang terukur dari alat ini masih kurang presisi. Hal ini Karena adanya tunda yang terdapat pada sensor ultrasonik yang dapat mempengaruhi perhitungan waktu guna mendapatkn nilai kecepatan. kata kunci: , kecepatan, , sensor, LCD

Abstract

The more modern the technology turns out to be followed by the higher criminals in an area. The crime rate in Indonesia has increased from year to year. The types of crime found are also increasing, for example the rate of theft from year to year continues to increase. Therefore, the technology needed to avoid the theft, such as theft at home then use the automatic door locks.The use of RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification) to automate the system of open-door muscle. With the solution then it is possible made a software using Arduino Nano program. Arduino Nano program is applied to create a security system that can work automatically, which can open the door by automatically using Android and RFID as inputs and also as a control. In the operation of this automatic door, not only rely on controls that use the backup system, but on the side of the control using servo and selenoid motors. So it will produce motor servo motion output becomes smooth.From the measurement of the input components, it can be seen in the standby RFID voltage condition of 3.3 V. While for the servo motor of 10.87 V and bluetooth of 3.3V - 5 V. The distance obtained from RFID measurements based on the tags made on RFID is 5 cm - 10 cm. As for bluetooth also based on the maximum distance bluetooth with android is 1 m - 12 m. The output of the buzzer will be active when the applied voltage is between 3.3 V - 5 V, if the voltage is less or exceeded then the buzzer does not work.

Abstract

The source of water flow in rivers or irrigation canals has a relatively small flow rate of water, which can be used as a pico hydropower plant. One of the main components of a pico hydropower plant is a water wheel, a hybrid pico hydropowerplant is a combination of hydroelectric power and solar power. By utilizing the power of the water flow in a small river or ditch in Wukirsari hamlet, we designed a waterwheel that will convert the energy of motion into electrical energy. The solar panel system designer uses a 50 wp solar cell, a 300 W inverter, a 10 Ampere solar charger controller, and a 12 Volt, 32 Ah battery. The no-load test results on the performance of the single pinwheels and the performance of the double pinwheels at a water level of 37 cm get an average power of 3.2 W and 2.11 W. The resulting voltage is 6.72 V, the current is 0.46 A for a single mill, while for the double pinwheel the voltage is 5,26 , and the current is 0.38 A. From the experimental results, it is better if the single pinwheel and the double pinwheel are used. In a series of no-load solar panels fromPower test results, at 11.00 GMT+7 the highest power value was 33.25 W. The electricity generated by the pico hydro hybrid was used by the people of Wukirsari Hamlet as street lighting. Key words: water wheel, hybrid power, solar panels

Abstract

Jaringan distribusi merupakan bagian dari sistem tenaga listrik yang terluas jangkauannya dan jumlah gangguan paling banyak terjadi dibandingkan dengan saluran transmisi. Untuk meningkatkan keandalan sistem tenaga listrik, PT. PLN Area Yogyakarta banyak menggunakan penutup balik otomatis (recloser) pada jaringan listriknya, penentuan posisi recloser sangat penting dalam keandalan sistem tenaga listrik. Indeks keandalan yang umum digunakan pada sistem distribusi adalah SAIFI dan SAIDI. Nilai SAIFI dan SAIDI dapat dihitung berdasarkan waktu pemadaman dan tingkat kegagalan yang terjadi dalam satu tahun. Keandalan dapat disimpulkan lebih baik jika nilai SAIFI dan SAIDI lebih kecil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan penempatan lokasi recloser yang optimal pada jaringan tenaga listrik di penyulang KTN 05 pada Gardu Induk Kentungan Yogyakarta. Dari hasil penelitian lokasi penempatan recloser yang optimal berada pada lokasi section 2 dengan nilai SAIFI adalah 5,03 kali/tahun dan nilai SAIDI 26,67 jam/tahun,sehingga recloser akan mengamankan 93 trafo dengan 9402 pelanggan dalam jaringan sepanjang 3.35 km .
