Abstract

In this modern world, humans need communication and information technology which is practical, effective, flexible and versatile. An example is information about property location services. Properti is primary needs for humans. Limited of information received by the prospective buyer makes difficulty in finding information about the property. The existence of the data make sure that the creation of applications using android platform right thing to do. In this research admin will be provided web-based applications to provide information about property location services, while users will be provided with mobile applications using the android platform to receive location service property information.This research used property data from CV Rumah Jogja Properti, regional data in Indonesia, location service data, and map data provided by Google Map. The tools needed for web admin in this research is programming language which consists of Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP, text editor used for template android application is Eclipse Mars, database created using MySQL. besides template, database and Web programming language is also required support tools such as laptops, USB data cable, Smartphone, android SDK manager, and Apache as a web server for system design, as well as computer peripherals.The result of this research is location service application consisting of application for web based admin and mobile application for user. Admin can manage all data like the one on web. While the user can only search property information as well as perform routing from the user location to the location of the property. This application also provides a explore menu that can be used to find support locations in accordance with existing categories.

Abstract

Being able to speak Portuguese properly is an obligation for people of East Timor since Portuguese is their national language. For that reason, some efforts are needed to facilitate that need. One thing that can be done is providing an application that can become a practical learning resource, by using the technology development on mobile device so that the resource can be accessed by people, whenever and wherever they are. This study is aimed to help people of East Timor in learning Portuguese, by presenting a mobile-based application which is run on android platform. The application is created by using Mobile Application Development Lifecycle (MADLC) approach. Generally, the study is conducted in three stages, they are defining requirements, designing user interface and testing the application. Application is created on Android Studio IDE, version 2.1.1 and can be run on android device with minimum level of API 14. Application uses Firebase Cloud Database as its database platform. The results of the study is a prototype of android application of Portuguese learning in Tetum language, called “Portun”. The testing is conducted within the IDE with help from Junit which is built-in plugin in Android Studio. The testing results show that the prototype is well-functioned so that itcan be developed more in the future, by they who concern to facilitate the people of East Timor in accessing resource of Portuguese easily.

Abstract

Management of human resources (HR) of a company affect many aspects of the determinants of the success of the company's work. One of the most important in the management of human resources in a company is the selection of employee recruitment to spur employee morale in improving dedication and performance, but in PT.Bimasakti Multi Synergy company current selection method of employee acceptance still use manual calculations, so needed Decision Support System (DSS) in optimizing employee recruitment selection. DSS for employee recruitment aims to provide information, guide, provide predictions and directing information to the personnel in order to make better decisions. To support the accuracy of the data on the DSS for employee recruitment processed by a system then required a method that can serve as an automatic selection of each data criteria are diverse, the method chosen is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). SAW method is appropriate for the decision-making process because it can determine the weight value for each attribute, then proceed with a ranking process that will select the best aternatif from some of the best alternatives. The result of the DSS for employee recruitment can assist the personnel department of PT.Bimasakti Multi Sinergy Company to recommend applicants to the management section. This is because the results of the assessment are granted eligibility status such as RECOMMENDED or NOT RECOMMENDED. The results can then be displayed based on the largest or smallest value, making it easier for the personnel to choose the best alternative from a number of available alternatives.

Abstract

The development of the internet in Indonesia increasingly advanced and sophisticated. Similarly mass media that has been a lot of venturing into the media online to facilitate users in accessing the news or information via online. And here began of growing and abudant news or information in the text. So make the news has not categorized properly. Then cause difficulties in searching appropriate news categories and should spend a lot of time in searching the abundant news text on the internet. Research to classsifying this news of the text, using 2 clustering method that is Hierarchical Clustering by using Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering and Partitional Clustering method using K-Means Clustering. Two clustering methods are used, with the aim of knowing and comparing which methods are better and resulting in higher accuracy in grouping of news texts, as well as faster time in grouping processing. This research use data totaling 30 news data. From 30 news data is divided into 8 news data for news document collection 1, 10 news data for news document collection 2, and 12 news data for news document collection 3. The result of research using agglomerative hierarchical clustering obtained accuracy value on news document collection 1 that is 62 , 5%, news document collection 2 is 50%, news document collection 3 is 33,33%, for k-means clustering is obtained result of highest accuracy value in news document collection 1 is 62,5%, news document collection 2 is 60 %, News document collection 3 is 33,33%. While the average time obtained with agglomerative hierarchical clustering is 29,5 s and k-means clustering is 30,19 s.

Abstract

Health is a valuable thing for human beings, because anyone can experience health problems. Skin disease is a disease that affects humans in daily life due to lack of awareness of self or environment, hygiene, which are caused by climatic factors, the environment, housing, unhealthy living habits, allergies, pets and others. Since ancient times the people of Indonesia have recognized and utilize medicinal plants as one of the efforts in the prevention of health problems that it faces. The use of plants as medicines in Indonesia also has lasted thousands of years ago. Medicinal plants have the property to cure various diseases. One of the curable disease is a skin disease. The purpose of this research is to design and build an expert system to determine the types of skin diseases based web that can assist users in determining the types of skin diseases based on physical characteristics and symptoms or complaints to the discovery of advice on the treatment of information regarding skin disease along with solutions treatment using medicinal plants. In this study, using the method of Forward Chaining, and Certainty Factor. Wherein Forward Chaining method as the tracking process while the Certainty Factor method is a way to measure whether or not a fact that surely must have in diagnosing the disease.This research has produced a diagnostic expert system with the skin disease treatment solutions using web-based medicinal plants that can diagnose the disease through the symptoms and then provide the solution of any disease.

Abstract

As the technology advances,the need for information is increasing. Smartphone is one of the technology that is often used by users to access the information, because the delivery of information via smartphones is simpler and easier.Smartphone withAndroid platform hasincreasedmost rapidly. The Android platform is growing very fast because it is open source so easily learned by anyone. Balai Yasa Yogyakarta is the only place in the locomotive maintenance and repair Java island owned by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), and so we need an application that can provide information with an attractive appearance and can be accessed anywhere using a Smartphone. For this reason the author makes Androidbasedmobile application for locomotive maintenance information in Balai Yasa Yogyakarta is easy to use, effective and efficient. In making this mobile application software authors use Eclipse, JQuery Mobile, PHP and MySQL. And in the development of application systems using the waterfall model because the author of the work of the system is done in sequence or linear. With the Android based mobile application, users can find out a company profile, profile Yogyakarta workshop, information work programs, the concept of maintenance and locomotive maintenance mechanism, monitoring production data, production data and update the gallery locomotive. Based on the results of testing the system interface and functional testing systems, mobile applications are made to function as it should.

Abstract

The selection process of determining scholarship recipients candidates in Bagian Kemahasiswaan dan Alumni at Institut Sains dan Teknologi AKPRIND Yogyakarta only be done by calculating the average of all criteria to implement into the form of a Ms.Excel. During this time, there are still lacking proper selectors for selecting applicants because only rely on the manual method, so it’s can’t assess applicants objectively. And so we need a system that is able to assist and support the decision of selectors. This application is designed using diagams context and data flow diagrams, while in programming using PHP programming language with application PHP Data Object as a connection to the MySQL database and using Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The results of this design in the form of web-based applications which focused on decision making. The use of the method Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) in decision support system scholarship recipients Peningkatan Prestasi Akademik (PPA) and Bantuan Belajar Mahasisswa (BBM) is able to provide the best alternative based on the results of the highest ranking.

Abstract

The progress of computer technology is currently very supportive on every aspect of human life, especially in the field of disease diagnosis. Dental and oral disease is one disease that often affects the community at large. It would be very useful if computer technology is able to diagnose the possibility of dental and oral diseases suffered by a person and give the right advice for patients with diseases of the teeth and mouth. Expert systems is one of the knowledge-based program that can provide solutions to the quality of experts to resolve the problems that usually can only be resolved by an expert, in this case is a dentist. The process of diagnosing a dental and oral diseases suffered by the people can only be solved by an experienced dentist. This study adopts the expert knowledge of dental disease, in this case is a doctor at the clinic drg.Suyatmi into a computer application that is able to diagnose dental and oral disease by displaying the symptoms related diseases that can be chosen by the admin, so it can produce a diagnosis of the disease suffered by patients. In this study it is used advanced search inference method (Forward Chaining). System applications created using Borland Delphi 7.0 with the database using Microsoft Access. From the testing that has been done then it was obtained a conclusion that the application of expert system is able to diagnose oral disease suffered by patients based on symptoms that have been chosen by the admin.

Abstract

Streaming Radio and Streaming Music is the audio playlists be heard exclusively live over the internet. In this case the end-users do not have to download it first and then save it on your computer, with this streaming end-users may request directly to the provider of the streaming service.Access music from streaming services is that many activities done by users on the internet today, either from music streaming services or from streaming radio service, but as the end-users they never knew whether the unused quota already fit or exceeding estimates. Therefore the author does an analysis and comparison of quotas against access music service that aims to find out the advantages and benefits that accrue to end-users against quota utilised in order to later quota can be set up efficiently in everyday use.

Abstract

Information technology is no different now like a reliable assistant, who can do many things in all human activities including economic activities. Many business units that utilize this information technology to develop their business. Information systems that were previously only used for communication purposes, showed great benefits in the business world both on a large scale and community scale such as UKM. The benefits of information technology in the business world are to assist processes and operations, make decisions, and form strategies to gain competitive advantage. In community service activities in the hamlet of Karet, Bantul Pleret has socialized an application that can be simulated in providing loans. With this socialization, it is expected that the community will better understand the use of information technology in carrying out economic activities.
