Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kurang maksimalnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan sikap matematis siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan sikap matematis siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran scientific dalam pendekatan tematik integratif dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional serta mendeskripsikan apakah terdapat korelasi antara kemampuan pemahaman konsep dengan peningkatan sikap matematis siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Labschool UPI, sekaligus sebagai sampel dalam penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan skala sikap matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran scientific dalam pembelajaran tematik integratif mengalami peningkatan yang lebih baik pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan sikap matematis dibanding siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional, serta terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan pemahaman konsep dengan sikap matematis siswa.                AbstractThis research is motivated by less than the maximum of conceptual understanding ability and mathematical attitudes of student toward of math. The aims of this research is to identify and describe the average difference of increase in the conceptual understanding ability and mathematical attitude that students had been touch under scientific model in integrated thematic approach and  the conceptual understanding mathematics ability of students who had been touch under conventional approach and describe correlation between  conceptual understanding mathematics ability and mathematical attitude of student had been touch scientific aproach in integrated thematic learning. The method of the research was using quasi ekperiment design. The population was all of in foxrth grade students in Elementary  School at Labschool UPI Bandung, and the sample is two group student learning in fourth grade. The instrument used by the  test of the conceptual understanding mathematics ability and mathematical attitude scale. Based on the analysis of data obtained it can be concluded that, The conceptual understanding ability and mathematical attitude of students who had been touch using scientific aproach in thematic integrative learning  higher than those of student and There was relationship between the anhaunsment of conceptual understanding and mathematical attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to develop ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials for elementary school students. Product trials were conducted using a pretest-posttest experiment group design. Data analysis techniques were carried out with item response analysis and t test. Validation test results on the feasibility of ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials are in the very good category with a score of 4.45. Analysis of the effectiveness of ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials was carried out on the experimental class (E) and control class (K). Based on calculations obtained E>K, with an average N-gain score of 0.64. The score is included in the interpretation of the medium category (0.3≤ g ,7 0.7). Based on these calculations, the application of ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials was declared effective. The results of the practicality test of ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials are in the practical category with a positive response and 85.02% student response. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that, learning flatter material using ETOPAPA based mathematics teaching materials at SDN 128 Palembang is valid, effective, and practical.
