Abstract

This research aims to determine the efficiency of fixed asset management in food and beverages entities listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange also the significant influence between the rate of fixed assets turnover to the level of profitability on the food and beverages entities listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this research is a food and beverages a total of 15 companys, the company sampled a total of 11 companies for 3 years from 2009-2011. Data used in this research is quantitative data and internal data. Data downloaded through the Indonesia Stock Exchange website is www.idx.co.id. Analysis techniques used are fixed asset efficiency analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The result of the analysis shows that the management of fixed assets of food and beverages entities listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange has been running efficiently and ther is a significant influencet between the rate of fixed asset turnover (FATO) and the rate of return on assets (ROA).    Keywords :  Fixed assets management, Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO), and Return  Assets (ROA)

Abstract

This research aims to measure the effect of Emotional Quotient (EQ) toward the attainment of academic achievement at accounting department Polsri both simultaneously and partially.  Its contribution would have been expected to ideas towards the importance of emotional intelligence in the world of student academic achievement and preparation to enter the workforce later. In addition, the expediency of emotional intelligence will contribute to the learning process of accounting that has a comprehensive strategy encompassing skills/expertise, knowledge, and professional orientation. The data has been gathered by sampling to student at accounting department Polsri. The research samples are 344 respondents selected by stratified random. This type of research is descriptive-verifikatif. The result indicated that self awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy and social skill have influences toward the attainment of academic achievement both simultaneously and partially. Entirely, the result identified about the self awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy and social skill have significantly effects to academic achievement at accounting department Polsri Key words: emotional quotient, academic achievement

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemandirian keuangan daerah kota Palembang dalam kaitannya dengan optimalisasi Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) dan seberapa besar tingkat ketergantungan pemerintah kota Palembang pada pemerintah pusat dan provinsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rasio kemandirian keuangan daerah dari tahun 2008 sampai 2011 masih rendah sekali  berada pada tingkat kurang dari 25%.  Namun demikian, rasio ketergantungan  setiap tahunnnya mengalami penurunan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pengelolaan PAD menuju tingkat kemandirian yang lebih baik. Kata kunci: rasio kemandirian, rasio ketergantungan
