Abstract

The history of human beings is an invaluable lesson, for it is rich with wisdoms. History contains significant events in the past is systematically organized and widely circulated to the societies as a repertoire of knowledge. History is an inherent element of human life, for history is an essential product of human civilization as well as a basic need of the human life per se. The Qur’an as a source of guidance integrates history into the moral narratives to provide moral lessons to human beings. It tells the stories of the societies in the past, their culture, civilization, and morality to serve as moral lessons that the current societies need to learn to maintain the harmony of their life.

Abstract

Mappacci / mappepaccing is one of a series of activities in the process of mating the Bugis Makassar known by the public as one of the conditions that must be carried by the bride or men the day before the wedding. After the traditional ceremony held mappacci the complete invitation where the relatives or the invitation that had been mandated to put in the hands of the bride and groom Pacci, the event started with the recitation of the litany or blessings on the Prophet, after officers stand litany, the procession begins by laying Pacci Anrong bunting followed by relatives and the invitation that had been given the task to put Pacci. Mappacci ceremony laden with meaning. Of a series of activities many symbols displayed value. Of those symbols, the values of Islam was much thicker either a series of activities or equipment that is used all contain Islamic values.

Abstract

Berbagai teori yang dikemukakan tentang masuknya Islam di Negeri Cina, namun dari adanya hadis yang menyatakan tuntutlah ilmu walaupun di negeri Cina yang memperkuat bahwa Islam sudah ada sejak Rasulullah hidup. Peranan dan posisi kedudukan umat Islam di kancah perpolitikan pada masa pemerintahan Dinasti Ming sangat berarti dan bahkan Tokoh-tokoh Cina Islam memiliki andil sangat besar dalam pembentukan kekaisaran Dinasti Ming, bahkan setelah pembetukan masih diberikan peran yang menempati posisi dalam pemerintahan. Tokok-tokoh Muslim yang telah berjasa atas berkembangnya agama Islam di dataran Cina diataranya : Imam Hasan, Ma Huan,  Feng Xin, Gong Zhen, Cheng Ho Zheng He, Mr. Lee Tiek Tsing, Zamaruddin dan Wang Tai Yu.
