Abstract

Character Education teaches habitual ways of thinking and behavior that help individuals to live and work together as family, community, and state and help them to make responsible decisions. Islamic Education Institution as an educational organization not only big physically, but also carrying a big and noble mission to educate the life of the nation, and form morals al karimah learners, of course require professional management. Implementation of character education management in Islamic Educational Institutions starts from planning, organizing, implementation and evaluation in every field of study.

Abstract

In this research that will be discussed is the influence of leadership and internal communication on the effectiveness of work. The objectives of the research are: (1) to know whether there is influence of leadership on work effectiveness (2) to know how big influence of leadership to work effectiveness of employee either simultant or partial. The population of this research is employees of Faculty of Science Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Raden Fatah Palembang with the number of 90 people. Data collection methods used are questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and the percentage of multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS for Windows Release 16. Based on descriptive analysis of the percentage obtained by the magnitude of leadership amounted to 84.24% and categorized as very good, while the degree of effectiveness of the work amounted to 78.78% including good category. Based on calculation of double linear regression analysis also obtained Fhitung equal to 17,234 with significance 0,000. Because the price of significance obtained is less than 0.05, then the regression model obtained is significant. This means that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, ie there is influence of leadership on the effectiveness of work. The magnitude of the effect is 28.4% simultaneously while partially is 16% for leadership variables. Based on the results of research, leadership gives a positive effect on the effectiveness of work.

Abstract

Work effectiveness is the degree of accuracy of the organization in achieving the objectives seen from the activities carried out. Many factors that influence work success, such as internal communication, office layout, work motivation and others. This article will discuss the influence of internal communication on improving work. The purpose of this article is to understand the presence or absence of internal communication and most internal communication is related to cooperation both simultaneously and partially. The population to collect article data is employees at universities in Palembang-Indonesia City. The total population is 90 people with the data collection method used is a questionnaire and documentation. Obtained data obtained were analyzed using descriptive contributions and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS for windows release 16. Based on the descriptive analysis obtained by the level of internal communication of 86% including the excellent category, while the level of work requirements amounted to 78.78% including the good category. Based on the calculation of multiple linear regression analysis also obtained Fcount of 17,234 with a significance of 0,000. Conclusion that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, that is there is internal communication motivation towards work effectiveness. The amount is 28.4% while it is partial 16% for leadership variables and 5.29% for internal communication.

Abstract

Abstract: Implementation of Management Information System (SIM) In Supporting Student Administration Service (Descriptive Study at Islamic High School Az Zahrah Palembang)This research discusses about the implementation of management information systems in supporting the administrative services of students at SMA Islam Az Zahrah Palembang. This study aims to determine how the application of management information systems in supporting the administrative service activities of students at SMA Islam Az-Zahrah. This research uses field research methodology (field research) with data collection techniques in the form of data triangulation by collecting data in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation to obtain the validity of the data obtained with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that (1) information systems management can help the process of administering students in Az Zahrah Islamic High School which is supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as qualified human resources (2) the supporting factors for the management information system in supporting student administrative services are very adequate school facilities, while the inhibiting factor is the down cycle and Database Maintenance (system update) during the data collection process.  The implication of this research is that education personnel are expected to always update the latest information on the school's official Wabside. Because after being reviewed, so far there are still many students who do not know about the existence of an official school wabside and schools should provide a special room for school administrative management, in order to improve the performance of school operators. Abstrak: Penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) dalam Mendukung Pelayanan Administrasi Peserta Didik (Studi Deskriptif di SMA Islam Az Zahra Palembang)membahas pentang penerapan sistem informasi manajemen dalam mendukung pelayanan administrasi peserta didik di SMA Islam Az Zahrah palembang.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan sistem informasi manajemen dalam mendukung aktivitas pelayanan administrasi peserta didik yang ada di SMA Islam Az-Zahrah.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian field reseacrh (penelitian lapangan) dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa trianggulasi data dengan cara pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan keabsahan data yang diperoleh dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) sistem informasi manajemen dapat membantu jalannya proses pengadministrasian peserta didik yang ada di SMA Islam Az Zahrah yang didukung dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai serta tenaga SDM yang berkualitas (2) faktor pendukung sistem informasi manajemen dalam mendukung pelayanan administrasi peserta didik adalah fasilitas sekolah yang sangat memadai, sedangkan faktor penghambaynya adalah siklus down dan maintenance database (pembaharuan sistem) saat proses pendataan.  Implikasi pada penelitian kali ini adalah tenaga kependidikan diharapkan untuk selalu mengunggah informasi terbaru di Wabside resmi sekolah.  Karena setelah ditinjau, sejauh ini masih banyak peserta didik yang belum mengetahui adanya wabside resmi sekolah dan hendaknya sekolah menyediakan ruangan khusus untuk pengelolaan tata usaha sekolah, agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja operator sekolah.
