<![CDATA[This article discusses the principal's leadership efforts in improving the cooperative relationship of SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung with the industrial world. Vocational high school (SMK) as a form of vocational education unit prepares students as prospective workers and develops the existence of students for the benefit of students, society, nation and state. This study uses a qualitative or naturalistic approach. The data collection uses participant observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, for data analysis, three activities are used, namely data reduction, display of data presentation and verification of conclusion drawing. The results of the study stated that the principal's leadership was considered good. Seen from strategic planning and implementation in a cooperative relationship with the industrial world. From this it can be understood that the main task of a leader in carrying out his leadership is not only limited to his ability to carry out programs, but more than that, the leader must be able to involve all levels of his organization, its members or the community to take an active role so that they are able to make a meaningful contribution. positive in achieving goals.
