Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the chemical characteristics of the liquid organic fertilizer from several types of animal manures. The research had been conducted in the experimental garden site of Department of Food Crops and Horticulture, Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic. The research was designed using a simple statistical l with 7 treatments which were liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) made from cow manure; LOF made from chicken manure; LOF made from goat manure; LOF made from goat and cow manure; LOF made from chicken and cow manure; LOF made from chicken and goat manure; and LOF made from goat, cow and chicken manure. The observed parameters were C/N, pH, macro nutrient and micro nutrient contents. The results showed that the liquid organic fertilizer made from manure of cow, chicken, goat, and its combination of these materials can be applied to cultivation plants but have not met the minimum technical requirements of organic liquid fertilizer (Minister of Agriculture Regulation No.70/Permentan/SR.140/10/2011). The best result was showed by the LOF made from chicken manure with pH 7.32 , N 1619.68 ppm , 541.44 ppm P, K 4000.00 me/100g , Zn 14.43 me/100g , Cu 4.33 me/100g. The highest C/N was found in LOF made from goat and cow manure which was 0.66. The highest Mg was in the LOF made from cow, goat and chicken manure for 723.10 me/100g. The highest Ca was in LOF made from goat manure. The highest S was in the LOF made from goat and cow manure for 749.95 me/100g  while the Fe and Mn were highest found in the LOF made from cow manure which was equal to 84.02 ppm and 23.05 me/100g. Keywords : LOF, Fertilizers, Characteristic, Animal manure.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to obtain POC which is one of activator and concentrate to increase the growth of krop lettuce. This study used RAK with 2 handling factors was repeated 3 times. Factor 1 (A): activator, namely: A1 = EM4, A2 = JB3, A3 = EMOL, A4 = ISO and A5 = BK Water; factor 2 (B): POC concentration (B), namely: B1 = 5, B2 = 10, B3 = 15, B4 = 20 and B5 = 25 ml / l water. Then the variance of analyzed and if it is proven to be real, it will be completed with a BNJ Test of 5%. The results of the study: 1) The concentrate of POC which is able to give the best lettuce yield JB3 10 ml / l water (wet weight 289.82 g / plant and dry weight 11,100 g / plant). 2) The results of activator interactions and POC concentrations are able to give the best lettuce yield of JB3 10 ml / l water.

Abstract

LOF with JB3 activator from fruit waste (salak, grapes, papaya, banana, pineapple and apple) and market waste (coconut fiber, coconut water) enriched with other organic materials (solid and liquid tofu waste) and added with Trichoderma microbes to increase nutrient content and function of the LOFwith pest and disease controller. The purpose of this study is to get POC plus with JB3 activator with the results of a complete both chemically and biologically (microscopic analysis)analysis. The treatments that were tried were A-1 = POC; A-2 = POC plus; A-3 = POC plus 1; A-4 = POC plus 2. The obtained results are A4 treatment (POC fruit waste, coconut waste on the market, tofu waste and Trichoderma containing C-organic 6.22%, pH 4.37, microbial contaminants ie E.coli <36 Apm / ml and Salmonella sp negative, which is qualifiedbased on fertilizer quality standards of Permentan no 70 / Permentan / SR.140 / 10/2011, but the content of the nutrients (N, P, K, Fe, Mn, Cu and ZN) still classified as soil amenders not yet as liquid organic fertilizer.
