Abstract

اللغة هي الوسيلة من أعظم الوسائل للوصول تحقيق تعاون البشر اتصاله بأبناء جنسه لا الغاية لذاتها، إنها أداة الفرد فى التفكير، ووسيلته فى التعبير عن أفكاره ومشاعره ومشاكله ،كما أنها صارت حافظة للفكر الإنساني وطريقا إلى التراث الثقافى والحضاري، بالإضافة إلى كونها وسيلة للتعليم والتعلم. واللغة العربية هي الوسيلة لتعليم وتعلم الثقافة العربية والاسلامية وما فيها اللغة العربية إلى الناطقين بها وغيرها. وبنسبة إلى تعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها يحتاج المدرس إلى الطريقة الخاصة لتعليم اللغة العربية وبالخصوص تعليمها في إندونيسيا. ظهرت فيها مدرستان تقومان بإبداع الطريقة الخاصة في تعليمها وهما المدرسة الكلاسيكية والحديثة.

Abstract

In Indonesia pesantren is known as the indigenous religious educational institution. The basic elements of pondok pesantren are: Kiai as a central figure, santri as a student who persues knowledge, pondok as dormitory where santri lives, and mosque which constitutes at the centre of educational activities. In general, due to the system and method of teaching, pondok pesantren classified into two kinds; traditional and modern. Never the less they are having the same vision and mission, that is to say that education is pondok pesantren is community oriented education by cultivating values, moral attitude, and character building of muslim community. That is the main reason that life atmosphere inside pesantren is in inspired strongly by what so called Panca Jiwa – Five Spirits – namely; sincerity, simplicity, self-reliance, Islamic brotherhood, and accountable freedom. In modern Indonesia today the expectation towards the role ofpesantren move on since early twentieth century, it is not only performing it’s three traditional roles as locus for transforming religious education, preserving muslim traditions, and producing scholars, but nowadays it plays an important role to educate and prepare leaders of tomorrow who posses specific qualities.

Abstract

It goes without saying that Islam is not only a religion, it is also a creator and living spirit of major world civilization including Malay, with a long history stretching over fifteen centuries based mainly on wahyu as the source of all activities in various dimensions, emotional, spiritual as well as intellectual. This fact is the very reason why human being, as the most perfect creation, become the important topic of the Qur’an to act properly for the sake of reaching and endless happiness in both here and hereafter by keenly observing and understanding the milestones of this civilization through ages. Keeping in view the above reality, an organized steps should be made to enhance the process of learning and teaching of Arabic language of the future, because it is the way to rediscover the values which keep human creativities moving towards right direction for the better future of humanity. Allama Muhammad Iqbal said: “The secret of life and the essence of it is movement. I exist so long as I move, when I cease to move I shall cease to be”.
