Abstract

ABSTRACT  In the electric power system operation required an electrical load forecasting. The method used to forecast electrical load, one of which is a method of linear Regresi(berganda logic). In this research, short-term load forecasting electricity, namely electric load forecasting for the category weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays at the time of peak load on the electrical system Sumbagut. The structure of the regresi variables used are historical load, temperature, and load forecaster to determine the value of each parameter and regersion sets of each of the  variables and model parameter values to the fuzzification process with linear representation up, down, and triangles. After that designing  reasoning rules to get assertive value of each rule based on membership degree obtained and change the value, the weighted average method centered.  Keywords: Regresion linear metodet berganda.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze the factors affecting the level of unemployment in the province of North Sumatra in 1978-2014. With independent variable population of the workforce, inflation, economic growth, minimum wage and the level of upper secondary education graduates in the province of North Sumatra, while the dependent variable is unemployment. The data used are secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra province with time series from 1978 to 2014 year. Research steps to be performed are: Determine the theory or hypothesis; Creating mathematical models and econometric model of hypotheses; Collecting data; Parameter estimation of an econometric model; Test hypotheses; and make conclusions. The analytical method used was Ordinary Least Square method or the method of least squares. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using Eviews program 7. The results showed that the variables of the labor force has positive effect amounting to 3 059 904% and not significant, positive bepengaruh inflation at 0, 020 060% and not significant, negative impact of economic growth 3 105 293% and a significant, negative impact of minimum wage amounted to 1, 003 877% and a significant and positive influence education levels of 0, 282 733% and significant impact on the unemployment rate in the province of north Sumatra in 1978-2014. The most dominant factor affecting the level of unemployment in the province of North Sumatra in 1978 2014 in this study is a factor of economic growth.Keywords : Labor Force, Inflation, Ordinary Least Square method, Unemployment, Economic Growth, Education Level, Minimum Wage

Abstract

ABSTRAKJenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses belajar di kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Unimed di program studi biologi A 2014 yang sedang mengikuti matakuliah kalkulus II pada semester genap 2014/2015, yang terdiri dari 37 orang. Adapun objek penelitian ini adalah penggunaan perangkat lunak mathlab pada pembelajaran kalkulus II sebagai upaya peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematika mahasiswa dengan menerapkan model problem posing. Tindakan ini bertujuan agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematika mahasiswa. Selanjutnya, data pada penelitian diperoleh melalui proses wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Kemudian, data tersebut dianalisis melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, paparan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Proses reduksi dilakukan dengan cara mengelompokkan dan mengorganisasinya sehingga diperoleh informasi yang lebih bermakna. Setelah direduksi, data dipaparkan dalam bentuk naratif, tabel, maupun grafik. Berdasarkan paparan data tersebut dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan dengan cara membandingkannya dengan teori dan target penelitian. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematika mahasiswa.Kata kunci: Matlab, PTK, Problem Posing, Kalkulus.ABSTRACTThis research is classroom action research (PTK), which aims to improve learning prosces in the classroom. The subjects were students of Unimed in biology A department taking a real calculus II in the second semester of 2014/2015, consisting of 37 people. The object of this study is the use of software matlab on learning Calculus II as an effort to improve students’ competence in connection of mathematics, by applying the problem posing model. This action aims to improve the ability of students mathematical connections. Furthermore, the data in the study was obtained through interviews, observations, and tests. Then, the data is analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, exposure data, and drawing conclusions. The reduction process is done by classifying and organizing it in order to obtain more meaningful information. furthermore, the data presented in narrative form, tables, and graphs. Based on the data exposure was conducted conclusion by comparing the theoretical and research targets. The results of this study showed an increase in student mathematics connection ability. Abstract

ABSTRAKKemacetan dan tundaan pada ruas-ruas jalan terutama di persimpangan jalan merupakan salah satu masalah lalu lintas yang serius di kota-kota besar di Indonesia khususnya di kota Medan. Salah satu cara untuk mengurangi tingkat kemacetan pada persimpangan jalan tersebut adalah dengan mengoptimalkan traffic light (lampu lalu lintas) dengan membuat sistem pengaturan durasi nyala lampu yang baru sesuai dengan kondisi lalu lintas saat ini. Sistem pengaturan lampu lalu lintas yang akan dibuat berdasarkan pada logika fuzzy. Logika fuzzy yang digunakan adalah sistem inferensi fuzzy Metode Mamdani. Langkah-langkah pada Metode Mamdani akan diubah kedalam sintaks-sintaks bahasa pemrograman untuk membuat program pengaturan durasi lampu lalu lintas yang baru yang mana program tersebut menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic .Net. Program yang telah dibuat berdasarkan logika fuzzy Metode Mamdani diuji coba menggunakan data pada Persimpangan Titi Kuning Medan. Dari hasil uji coba program menghasilkan durasi lampu merah/waktu tunggu 16,5% lebih optimal dibandingkan durasi lampu merah yang ada pada Persimpangan Titi Kuning Medan.Kata Kunci: Kemacetan, Traffic Light, Logika Fuzzy, Sistem Inferensi Fuzzy, Metode Mamdani, Visual Basic .NetABSTRACTThe traffic jam and delayment on the roads, especially on intersections is one of serious traffic problems in big cities in Indonesia, particularly in Medan. One of alternatives to reduce traffic jam at the intersection is to optimalize traffic light by making a new duration of setting system according to traffic condition today. Traffic light setting system is made based on fuzzy logics. The fuzzy logics applied is Mamdani method of fuzzy inferential system. The procedure involved in Mamdani method is changed into some syntax of language programming to create a new traffic light duration setting program using Visual Basic. Net. The program made based on Mamdani method of fuzzy logics is trying out using data of Titi Kuning Intersection, Medan. As a result of try out, the program creates the red light duration 16.5% more optimal than the red light duration on Titi Kuning Intersection, Medan.Keywords: Traffic jam, Traffic Light, Fuzzy Logics, Fuzzy Inferential System, Mamdani Method, Visual Basic.
