<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share Kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Siempatnempu tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Siempatnempu dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-B dan VII-A sebanyak 64 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Data yang diperlukan diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika berupa essay sebanyak 5 soal. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray adalah 37,9688 dengan simpangan baku 2,234 dan rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share adalah 36,16 dengan simpangan baku 2,357. Untuk uji hipotesis digunakan uji t dua pihak, dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung = 3,15 dengan kriteria pengujian terima Ho dan terima Ha jika -1,9993 < thitung < 1,9993 sehingga terlihat bahwa thitung tidak berada dalam interval tersebut yang berarti Ho ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share Kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Siempatnempu tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray dan think pair share dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa khusunya pada materi himpunan.Kata kunci : kemampuan pemecahan masalah, Quasi Eksperimen, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share.ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there are differences in problem solving skills of mathematics students through cooperative learning model type two stay two stray with cooperative learning model type think pair share Class VII SMP Negeri 3 Siempatnempu academic year 2017/2018. The population in this research is all students of class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Siempatnempu and sample in this research is class VII-B and VII-A counted 64 people. From the results of data analysis obtained the average test results of students' mathematical problem solving skills through cooperative learning model type two stay two stray is 37,9688 with standard deviation 2,234 and the average result of problem solving ability of student mathematics problem through cooperative learning model type think pair share is 36.16 with standard deviation 2,357. To test the hypothesis used t-test two parties, from the calculation results obtained tcount = 3.15 with the acceptance test criteria Ho and accept Ha if -1,9993 <tcount <1.9993 so it appears that tcount is not within the interval that means Ho is rejected. Then it can be concluded that there are differences in problem solving skills of mathematics students through cooperative learning model type two stay two stray with model of cooperative learning type think pair share Class VII SMP Negeri 3 Siempatnempu academic year 2017/2018. Based on the results of this study, cooperative learning model type two stay two stray and think pair share can be used as an alternative effective learning model to improve students' math problem solving skills especially on the set material.
