Abstract

The garbage problem in Pasuruan district has been in the emergency. This condition is caused because of garbage governance in Pasuruan Regency still use conventional method 3P (collection, transport and disposal) so that it can not reduce the amount of garbage dumped to TPA considering there is no process Waste processing done. Seeing the question of the Pasuruan district government made a waste handling policy through the SDSB Program (one village waste Bank). The Government's policy was responded well by the housewives at Taman Permata Indah Village of Pagak district of Beji District in Pasuruan Regency by forming the waste bank community TPI BISA. The establishment of waste bank TPI BISA this part of the response to the government policy while seeing the problem of many unhandled garbage that affects health and hygiene of the environment as a result of the increasing Population in the area. Household waste deposits generated within 1 month less than 6 quintals and every tendency month is increasing. Waste bank TPI BISA one of the waste bank that is sufficient to exist and has succeeded in managing the environment through the management of both organic and inorganic waste. In addition, the community also conducts garbage processing in the form of interesting and unique handcraft. But on the other hand, from the success also still leave a serious problem that the management system of waste bank TPI BISA be done by manual model so that there is often an error in recording the deposit amount Garbage whose edges often make a conflict in internal management of trash banks with members or customers of trash banks. Therefore, modernization of IT-based administrative management becomes a real need needed by waste bank TPI BISA, So that waste bank TPI BISA be worthy of an example of trash bank with IT-based management of mobile that can be developed thoroughly in Pasuruan Regency.

Abstract

This study intend to examine how the analysis of the transdental communication of Kapitayan disciple to increasing spiritual awareness carried out by the Damar village community, using the perspective of the Transdental Communication. Research on Transdental Communication on Javanese spiritual awareness is very interesting to study considering that research on spiritual awareness is also still rarely done in scientific research, especially in the focus of Communication Science. Method in this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that humans in their lives always face various kinds of difficulties. Abstract

Muncul kasus KDRT dengan pasangan artis Lesti Kejora dan Rizky Billar menjadi tren perbincangan hangat masyarakat di Instagram dan Youtube. Ketika kita berbicara tentang artis yang diberdayakan oleh media sosial dan direspon oleh kekuatan netizen kini tersedia menjadikan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga sebagai isu publik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk dan factor dari fenomena cancel culture tokoh public di media sosial pada akun @mimi. julid dan @ Leslar Entertaiment selama periode bulan maret 2022 sampai april 2023 berdasarkan analisis Etnografi Virtual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif melalui AMS (analisis media siber) dengan empat level unit analisis, yaitu ruang media, dokumen media, objek media,dan pengalaman. Demikian hasil penelitian ini dengan analisis etnografi virtual melalui teknik. Level unit analisis media social adalah sebagai berikut ruang medianya yaitu media sosial instagram pada akun @mimi julid dan media social youtube pada akun @leslar entertainment, level dokumen medianya yaitu caption dan emoticon yang terdapat disetiap postingan akun media social seperti kalimat “luar biasa yes bund” pada berita Rizky Billar, level objek medianya adalah kolom komentar dimana pada kolom komentar tersebut berisikan ungkapan negative netizen terhadap postingan berita RB yang terdapat pada akun media sosial, dan tingkat pengalaman media mereka merupakan dampak nyata. Terutama pada tataran materi dan objek media, @mimi julid menciptakan sebuah artefak budaya seperti kata "bund" dan "pah" untuk memanggil followers nya. Adapun level pengalaman ,dimana pada level tersebut terdapat efek yang dialami Rizky Billar yaitu pembatalan,penolakan akun yang dimana sekarang lebih dikenal dengan fenomena cancel culture.

Abstract

Kesadaran lingkungan masih tetap menjadi issue yang belum menemukan titik terang hingga saat ini. Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, manusia semakin menyadari betapa pentingnya peran manusia dalam menjaga lingkungan untuk keberlangsungan kehidupan di planet bumi ini, baik di lingkungan alam, lingkungan sosial, maupun lingkungan buatan. Pemanasan global, banjir, polusi udara terus meningkat adalah bukti nyata bahwa masih banyak masyarakat yang masih abai dalam melindungi lingkungan. Film "Spirited Away" adalah salah satunya film animasi Jepang yang menggungkap beberapa masalah, dan juga berhasil meraih berbagai penghargaan, salah satunya ialah penghargaan Oscar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna kesadaran lingkungan dengan menggunakan metode segitiga makna yang dicetuskan oleh Charles Sanders Pierce dalam film animasi Spirited Away. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 5 adegan atau scene yang memiliki makna kesadaran lingkungan, seperti tindakan pencemaran alam, Sungai yang terkontaminasi, rusaknya ekosistem, dan pentingnya meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap sesama makhluk hidup. Film animasi Spirited Away Hayao Miyazaki adalah sebuah karya yang terinspirasi dari peristiwa nyata yang terjadi pada dirinya. Ini menunjukkan bahwa animasi ini menyampaikan pesan berdasarkan realitas kehidupan manusia yang dikemas dengan menggunakan pendekatan budaya Jepang yang dapat dijadikan contoh pada dunia perfilman khususnya animasi di Indonesia, sehingga menghasilkan karya-karya orisinal yang memiliki makna mendalam).

Abstract

Penyidik KPK Novel Baswedan merupakan salah satu penyidik yang dinilai cukup berprestasi, terutama dalam kiprahnya menangani kasus-kasus korupsi yang melibatkan para pejabat dan pemerintahan. Liputan6.com adalah salah satu media online yang juga gencar memberitakan kasus Novel terutama penyiraman air keras terhadap Novel. Karena media massa merupakan aktor konstruksi sosial yang mendefinisikan realitas, maka peneliti akan menganalisis wacana kritis dalam lapangan politik, dengan aspek praktik pemakaian bahasa, terutama politik bahasa dan konteks yang terdapat dalam pemberitaannya. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan fokus penelitian pada pemberitaan penyiraman air keras terhadap penyidik KPK Novel Baswedan di media online liputan6.com periode 11 April 2017 hingga April 2018 menggunakan analisis wacana kritis Van Dijk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ke-13 analisis wacana berita terlihat adanya kecenderungan redaksi liputan6.com memihak Novel sebagai korban dan membuat pembaca memihak korban, dengan memilih kalimat yang yang bisa membuat pembaca merasa iba serta kalimat yang membuat pelaku terlihat begitu sadis. Pemberitaan tersebut juga membuat Polri menjadi pihak yang besalah karena tidak dapat menemukan pelaku penyiraman air keras terhadap Novel hingga satu tahun.

Abstract

The effectiveness of TikTok as a digital marketing platform in promoting food and beverage products, with a case study on the TikTok account @kikijupe. The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged businesses to utilize social media as a more interactive promotional tool and reach a wider audience. TikTok, as a short video-based platform, offers a significant opportunity to build closeness between brands and consumers through creative content. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using TikTok as a digital marketing platform for food and beverage products, @kikijupe. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, documentation of the @kikijupe TikTok account's activities, and in-depth interviews with the account manager and several consumers. Analysis was conducted by reviewing uploaded content, audience interactions, and their impact on increasing sales and brand awareness. The results showed that the use of TikTok by the @kikijupe account was effective in attracting consumer attention and increasing product appeal. Strategies used included creating trend-following content, using popular music, storytelling, and collaborating with other users. In addition, interactive features such as comments, live streaming, and hashtag challenges were also utilized to expand market reach

Abstract

This study aims to understand how Japanese pop culture is represented by the @cosmora.id cosplay community through visual practices on Instagram. The growing globalization of Japanese culture in Indonesia has given rise to local communities adapting elements of this culture, one of which is cosplay. This study uses a virtual ethnographic approach with the Cyber ​​Media Analysis (AMS) method, encompassing four main elements: media space, media documents, media objects, and experiences. Data were collected through observation of Instagram content, documentation of community posts, and analysis of digital interactions between community members and audiences. The results show that the @cosmora.id community's representation of Japanese pop culture is shaped through a system of visual signs (costumes, poses, captions, and hashtags), a contextual and local process of meaning construction, and active interaction between the community and its followers. Instagram functions not only as a medium for showcasing work but also as a dynamic, emotional, and participatory space for the production of cultural meaning. This study concludes that Japanese pop culture is creatively and communicatively represented by the local cosplay community through digital practices involving symbolic visualization, social relations, and collective experiences. These findings reinforce the importance of studying popular culture in the context of digital media, and demonstrate that online communities can be active and reflective agents of transnational cultural representation. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana budaya pop Jepang direpresentasikan oleh komunitas cosplay @cosmora.id melalui praktik visual di media sosial Instagram. Fenomena globalisasi budaya Jepang yang berkembang di Indonesia melahirkan komunitas-komunitas lokal yang mengadaptasi elemen budaya tersebut, salah satunya dalam bentuk cosplay. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan etnografi virtual dengan metode Analisis Media Siber (AMS) yang mencakup empat elemen utama: ruang media, dokumen media, objek media, dan pengalaman. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi konten Instagram, dokumentasi unggahan komunitas, dan analisis interaksi digital antaranggota komunitas dan audiens. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa representasi budaya pop Jepang oleh komunitas @cosmora.id dibentuk melalui sistem tanda visual (kostum, pose, caption, dan hashtag), proses konstruksi makna yang kontekstual dan lokal, serta interaksi aktif antara komunitas dan pengikutnya. Instagram berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai media pamer karya, tetapi juga sebagai ruang produksi makna budaya yang dinamis, emosional, dan partisipatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa budaya pop Jepang direpresentasikan secara kreatif dan komunikatif oleh komunitas cosplay lokal melalui praktik digital yang melibatkan visualisasi simbolik, relasi sosial, dan pengalaman kolektif. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya kajian budaya populer dalam konteks media digital, serta menunjukkan bahwa komunitas daring dapat menjadi agen representasi budaya lintas negara yang aktif dan reflektif.

Abstract

The development of regional brand identity is crucial in enhancing economic competitiveness and strengthening the image of Bondowoso Regency as a leading coffee center. Bondowoso Regency, as a historic site and coffee production hub, faces challenges in maintaining and expanding its positive image to support sustainable economic growth and promote culture-based tourism, as well as its natural resource potential. This study proposes a brand identity model based on Kapferer’s Brand Identity Prism theory and empirical data to establish Bondowoso Regency's branding as the "Republic of Coffee" in addressing these challenges. A qualitative approach was employed in data collection, involving interviews with eight informants from various stakeholders, field observations, and documentation from both primary and secondary sources. Validation was carried out through data triangulation and documentation analysis to ensure the consistency and validity of the findings. Data analysis integrated theory and empirical data in developing a strategy for building an authentic, integral, and sustainable brand identity. The research findings indicate that the success of this branding can enhance the region’s image, attract tourists, and drive economic growth through strong and consistent brand identity elements. These findings underscore the importance of collaboration among the government, community, and businesses in establishing a relevant and enduring brand image. The implementation of this model is expected to position Bondowoso Regency as a national and international hub for coffee.
