Abstract

Industrial development is always offset by an increase in quality of life. Development from the industrial sector that is not controlled can affect the increase in environmental pollution. Research to assess the suitability of industrial location and levels of industrial pollution on case studies in Sayung Subdistrict, Demak was conducted. This study used quantitative approach method. Analytical technique were performed by identification and weighting. Spatial analysis was conducted with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and analysis of public perceptions was presented using a quantitative description. The analysis wase the identification of Sayung district condition, land suitability of industrial location and the level of industrial pollution. The results of the analysis showed that the location with " very appropriate"  category was 3,65 km2 (17,29%), the location with "appropriate" category was 8,93 km2 (42,33%) and the location that was "not suitable" covered 8,52 km2 (40,37%). Industrial pollution level was up to 900 meters. Industrial development increased year by year that needs monitoring, so that development remains at the direction of the spatial patterns and minimalize negative impacts for society.

Abstract

Semarang as the capital of Central Java is a metropolitan city whose population continue to grow so that the needed land for activity also increases. One of the problem occurred in rapidly growing urban areas is the demand for human settlement with well-maintained environmental conditions compatible with their allocation and sustainable. Graha Candi Golf elite and semi cluster residential area located in Semarang. The development process of Graha Candi Golf residential is now expanding and equipped with adequate facilities. The purpose of this study is reviewing the Impact of Housing Development of Graha Candi Golf using descriptive method with a spatial approach. The result of this research shows that there are direct positive impacts on the community related to the physical condition of the environment, such as the accessibility. At the sametime the development of Graha Candi Golf also has negative impacts, the decreasing of clean water availability and the quality of water sources. Another benefit that can be felt by the public is the increase of job opportunities to increase family income.

Abstract

Taman Wisata Lembah Hijau Kampung Sukajadi stood since year 2007 and conducive to tourist have an effect on to regional growth about. activity in Lembah Hijau really enough race growth of economic sector supporting tourism activity affecting farm exploiting and activity socialize Kampung Sukajadi, the change generate problem for Kampung Sukajadi area that is different farm exploiting and activity friction from previous function where Kampong Sukajadi representing rural area mostly its farm exploiting used as by a plantation area not yet can place farm exploiting and activity changing very fast effect of Lembah Hijau. This study aimed to assess changes in the activity and land use in Kampung Sukajadi related to the existence of Green Valley, Bandar Lampung. This study used quantitative descriptive and cross tabulation analysis (crosstab). Based on the results of the study, known changes in the activity of an increasing number of actors in the field of trade in services is quite high compared to the time before the existence of the Park Green Valley. While the plantation settlement activity and decreased the number of perpetrators of activity compared to the prior existence of these attractions. The highest land use changes that occurred in the village of Sukajadi related to the existence of the Park Green Valley namely plantation land use changes into land-use trade and service area of 11, 47 ha. Factors affecting changes in land use and activity that tourists jumla and service facilities.

Abstract

Land development in Indonesia currently tends to have a significant impact on land use change. Gorontalo City is one of the provincial capitals which currently still has an area of more than 800 ha of rice fields. The growing issue related to rice fields is that 50% of the currently identified rice fields will become built up land because they have accessibility and facilities that support the development of built up land. The purpose of this study is to predict the development of land cover in the City of Gorontalo and to analyze the conversion of paddy fields into built-up land. Rice fields are productive lands that are quite important in Gorontalo City, so it is necessary to know how much the reduction is due to the development of built-up land. The dynamics of land cover changes spatially will be analyzed using the Cellular Automata (CA) model with a period of 10 years. The results obtained from this study indicate that the prediction of land cover development with a validation value of 0.55 (Accuracy of Moderate), especially built-up land in 2030 increases by 592 Ha and the conversion of paddy fields into built-up land in 2030 covers an area of 300 Ha in the District North City. The results of this study can be used as recommendations and considerations for Gorontalo City government policies in controlling land in order to achieve a sustainable city.
