Abstract

Bus Rapid Transit Trans Semarang is a means of mass transportation to the transit system  that began operating since 2009 as a solution to reduce congestion in the city of Semarang. This research focuses on the optimization and management of institutional BRT Trans Semarang to improve it’s performance. The purpose of this study is to optimize the performance of the organization and management of BRT Trans Semarang with variable types of institutional cooperation BRT operations, and leadership style. Stages of the methodology to do is identify the problem, literature, comparative studies of Trans Jogja, stakeholder’s need analysis, data processing, and formulating policy recommendations. The results showed a number of conditions and institutional and management problems BLU-UPTD Terminal Mangkang as the governing institution of BRT Trans Semarang, among others: 1) Need to changes 3 old buses with 1 BRT so BRT can reduce the congestion effectively and also can incrase BRT load factor. 2) Need 20 fleets BRT to supply the passenger’s demand. So the subsidy is still needed to complete the BRT’s cost operational until the load factor reach 70%. 3) The institutional leadership style BRT is currently 69(minimum criteria is 75). While the percentage of fulfillment of expectations of leaders based employee appraisal is only 70.45(minimum criteria is 75). The recommendation to optimize the organization and management of BRT Trans Semarang are construct BLU so it has flexibility to manage substitution the old moda with BRT, to determine the cost policy that cheaper than old moda’s cost in order to increase load factor, still gets subsidy to keep quality service base on SPM. In additional needs to increase coordination and communication in institution to increase efectivity of institution’s works.

Abstract

Volume growth in road traffic is increasing rapidly, especially in the city of Semarang. This makes the occurrence of congestion in the city of Semarang at peak hours, especially at intersections. The problems at the intersection can be overcome by the use of lights at signalized intersections so there is no conflict and clash, but the use of a signal at the intersection also raises its own problems, such as delays and queues occur, especially if there are a lot of adjacent signalized intersections in the road as well as on the road Dr.Cipto Mangunkusumo Semarang who are familiar with the way Dr.Cipto. This study aims to smooth traffic flow on roads Dr.Cipto coordinated way Kartini intersection and Sidodadi intersection. The data was collected by surveying directly at the two junctions at peak hours in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The data is taken from the volume of vehicles that pass through each intersection, signal timing, vehicle travel speed through two intersections, queue length, and geometric intersection. The survey results are then processed using the guidelines Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI) in 1997 to obtain the performance of the existing condition, then performed traffic control and compared the results of its performance in optimal condition and scenario conditions. Best performance at each intersection are then used to create a draft of coordination between the two junctions. Results in the condition of existing intersection analysis showed unsatisfactory performance, at the intersection of Kartini shows the degree of saturation is still high in some approach, a large value of the vehicle stop, and delay simpangnya was still great. In planning the optimal conditions has a better performance than optimal conditions seen from the DS and the average intersection delay is smaller than the existing condition, while the condition of scenario planning produces a worse performance than the optimal conditions, so the recommended optimal conditions for used in coordination signalized intersections Kartini and Sidodadi. To perform coordination between the two signalized intersections, planning done is create two junctions cycle time has the same value, the morning peak hour cycle time changed to 82 seconds, the peak daylight hours to 75 seconds, and afternoon peak hours to 100 seconds. Of the distance between the intersection and the vehicle speed obtained offset value is 36 seconds while the bandwidth at peak hours in the morning for 25 seconds, 22 seconds during peak hours, and the afternoon peak hour by 32 seconds. While the efficiency of the coordination of the two junctions of 30.48% for the morning, 29.33% for the day, and 32% for the afternoon. Estimated at morning peak hour north approach can release 2238 vehicles/hour, the afternoon peak hour of 2160 vehicles/hour, and the afternoon peak hour of 2376 vehicles/hour. Coordination performance was good enough for the level of short-term treatment. Thus, it can be concluded that the performance of intersections to be better in terms of the initial conditions.

Abstract

To be competitive in the market competition, then a company is required to be able to work without defects, especially in the production process, especially in terms of time, but in the process of production of the most common problem is the bottleneck. In addition, the process of making the finished product, if the consumer is too long to take the goods orders will certainly lead to additional cost for the manufacturer (PT. WIKA Beton Boyolali). Therefore, it is necessary to charge to cover the cost calculation the amount of cost / additional costs. The purpose and goal of this study was to maximize the production of piling PT. WIKA Beton Boyolali, as well as reducing the amount of losses arising from the cost / surcharge. Bottleneck determination made by the method of calculation of standard time each work station, while charging for the cost calculation performed by three methods: Base On Plan, Mixing Pile, Base On Demand. From the results of the analysis showed that the bottleneck is at the work station spinning, and to reduce the bottleneck distasiun the work can be done by adding the spinning tool and also the addition of workers / operators. While charging the cost of the analysis showed that of the three methods used, the most effective method is a method Charging Cost Base On Mixing Pile. It is expected to cost charging system is then the consumer can pay more attention to pick up their order as soon as possible when the order finished goods.

Abstract

Telogorejo Hospital is a hospital located in the city center (CBD) with a lot of activity around it, so the traffic is congested. Currently, the private hospital is under developing with targeted towards an international hospital. Therefore it is important to assess the impact of traffic caused by the development. At the beginning of the calculation, we evaluated the performance of intersections and roads around the site development. Then proceed with the calculation of estimated towing vehicle movement and percentage growth. Both were included in the analysis of the performance of intersections and roads no hotspot at the post opening. The method of analysis used is MKJI (Indonesia Jalan Capacity Manual) 1997 dedicated to vehicle traffic. From the analysis it is known that the existing conditions in 2012 was the performance of intersections and roads hotspot is still good. It can be seen from the value of DS was still below 0.75, the speed on the road is still higher than 20 kilometer per-hour, and delay at the no hotspot intersection is still less than 30 seconds / smp. At the time of its unveiling in 2014, there is a condition on the Anggrek intersection at workingday at morning peak hours its DS value greater than 0.75 is 0.88. While the results of the analysis of the long-term 5 years after opening in 2019, Anggrek intersection performance became much worse that is the highest DS value of 1,04, but the intersection Theresiana still good. Technical solutions to address the intersection of Anggrek at the opening is to provide non-permanent median on the major approach of limiting the right turn movement on each approach and also a straight movement in South Seroja approach. The median was installed as weekday morning peak hour. In the segment of Road Anggrek is made diversion parking from the road. While the solution to the current problems five years after opening is to install a non-permanent median at the Anggrek  intersection so there is no right turn movement on each approach and also the straight movement in South Seroja  approach. It also made a major widening in line at 1 m on each side and minor lane widening at 0.5 m in each side. Simpang Theresiana good condition at present, at the opening, as well as five years after opening no problems whatsoever so there is no meaningful treatment. It's just that every Sunday morning there is a market there for people who can not be predicted future conditions, thus requiring further research.
