<![CDATA[Sistem smartphone berbasis android memiliki kelebihan lebih mudah diakses daripada komputer. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah membangun sebuah sistem berbasis Android sebagai media alternatif kepada mahasiswa untuk mengakses Sistem Informasi Akademik kapanpun dan dimanapun. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analisis dimana desain studi yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan yang dipilih merupakan pengguna android dan sekaligus pengakses website SIA UNDIP. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dirubah ke dalam bentuk angka dan dilakukan pengujian usability testing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan nilai daya guna pada perbandingan website SIA UNDIP (79.31%) dengan penggunaan aplikasi pengembangan android pada website (89.5%).Melihat dari nilai prosentase tersebut telah jelas bahwa aplikasi website berbasis android terbukti lebih memuaskan bagi para pengguna (mahasiswa). Abstract The system has advantages android based smartphone more accessible than the computer. The goal of this research is to build an Android-based system as an alternative medium for students to access the Academic Information System whenever and wherever. This research was descriptive analysis and design study is cross sectional. The data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Informants who have an android user and simultaneously accessed UNDIP SIA website. Data obtained then converted into the form of numbers and testing usability testing. The results show that there is an increase in the value of the utility on a comparison website SIA UNDIP (79.31%) with the use of android application development on the website (89.5%). Viewed from the percentage value has been clear that web applications based on android proved more satisfactory for users (students).]]>
