Abstract

Laporan ini mendeskripsikan penentuan rute dan penugasan 5 kapal yang kapasitasnya berbeda di Packing Plant Tuban ke 3 tujuan berbeda yakni PP Ciwandan, Banyuwangi dan Sorong. Untuk mengetahui kebutuhan di tiap tujuan, terlebih dahulu dilakukan Forecasting melalui Software Minitab yakni dengan metode MA, SES dan DES. Dari hasil pengukuran error dengan parameter U-Theil diperoleh hasil forecasting demand untuk 1 periode atau 7 hari mendatang  di tiap PP yakni Ciwandan 23928 Ton, Banyuwangi 8322 Ton dan Sorong 1122 Ton. Selain itu untuk biaya transportasi diperoleh melalui estimasi jarak dan biaya berdasarkan model matematis yang dikembangkan sehingga matriks biaya dapat digunakan di tabel tranportasi. Dan diantara Metode Algoritma Transportasi yang digunakan yakni NWC, LC dan Vogel dengan kasus dummy diperoleh total estimasi biaya termurah sebesar Rp 4,718,434,405 dengan metode NWC. Dan dari hasil pengujian melalui Direct Shipping with Milk Run diperoleh bahwa sistem distribusi Direct Shipping sudah optimal dalam maksimasi keuntungan karena menghasilkan laba yang jauh lebih besar walaupun dari segi minimasi biaya lebih mahal.     ABSTRACT This paper describes the transhipment and assignment of the 5 vessels of different capacities at the packing plant Tuban to 3 different destination namely PP Ciwandan, Banyuwangi and Sorong. To find out the needs in each destination, first performed Forecasting through Minitab Software with the method of MA, SES and DES. From the measurement error with the parameters of U-Theil, forecasting demand result obtained for the first period or the next 7 days in each of the Ciwandan PP 23 928 Tons, 8322 Tons Banyuwangi and Sorong 1122 Tons. For the cost of transport is obtained through the distance and cost estimates based on a mathematical model which is developed so that the cost matrix can be used in the transportation table. And among the transport algorithm methods  which is used, ie NWC, LC and Vogel with dummy cases,  then acquired the lowest total estimated cost of Rp 4,718,434,405 with NWC method. And the results of testing via Direct Shipping with Milk Run is obtained that the distribution system of Direct Shipping is optimal in maximizing profits because it produces a much larger profit even though in terms of cost minimization is more expensive.
