Abstract Huber and Huber's religiosity is the mind and belief that a person has to view the world that affects their experiences and behaviors in everyday life. Religiosity consists of five dimensions, namely intellectual, ideology, public practice, private practice, and religious experience. This study aims to examine the validity of the construct of religious instruments. Data in this study were obtained from 209 students at SMAN 87 and SMK Tunas Pembangunan. The method used is confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with software M Plus 7. The results of this study indicate that of the 33 items that exist, there are 2 items that are not valid. So there are 31 items that are unidimensional. The item measures only one factor.

Abstract

On adolescence, there are some changes that occur. One of them is emotionally changes that causing the interest feeling with opposite sex emerge. In this era, dating on adolescent is not a new thing. However, the impacts of dating become more serious. One of them is dating violence amongst adolescent couples. The objective of this study is to examine the effect of attachment style, religiousity and gender toward dating violence among adolescent. Samples are 209 students which were taken with convenience technique. The three scales that used in this study are dating violence scale, religiousity scale, and attachment style scale. Their validities are examined by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Meanwhile, the method that used is multiple regression. Findings were consistent with previous research. The findings show that religiousity, attachment style and gender has significant effect toward dating violence among adolescent. All of the independent variabels have implication about 10,5%, and the others were affected by variables outside the research. After the proportion variance were analyzed, the results show that fearful avoidant, which is dimension of attachment style, and gender are the biggest predictors toward dating violence. For better result, we suggest to use bigger sample size. DOI: 10.15408/tazkiya.v22i2.8404

Abstract

The use of social media, especially Instagram, has become an increasingly powerful form of daily activity. This social media affects the romantic relationship of people, where people in relationships can conduct surveillance on the behaviors of their partner. This study provides an analysis of the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of the Partner Surveillance Scale which contains 15 items and used a 4-point Likert scale format. The study recruited 214 female university students aged 17-23 years old, who used Instagram. The Graded Response Model (GRM) method was applied. As a result, the Indonesian version of the Partner Surveillance Scale was proved to have good psychometrics properties and had good fit to the GRM. All assumptions of GRM were met and the scale had high reliability. But, it should be noted that some items did not fit well with the model.  The results of this study also provide an alternative to the use of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) in analyzing polytomous data with GRM. This study concluded that the psychometric properties of the Partner Surveillance Scale were good.
