Abstract

Program library creative center atau disingkat LCC merupakan program layanan yang dapat mengembangkan bakat dan minat masyarakat yang telah diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Kalimantan Barat sejak tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah layanan program LCC pada Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Sedangkan obyek penelitiannya adalah individu, kelompok, dan masyarakat yang terlibat. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. Analisis datanya dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa program LCC telah memberdayakan masyarakat dengan menyediakan pelatihan-pelatihan berupa 1). Pelatihan Komputer Dasar, 2). Pelatihan kerajinan tangan, dan  3) Pelatihan bahasa Inggris dasar. Program LCC memiliki target sebagai program yang dapat meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan kreatifitas dalam rangka meningkatkan taraf ekonomi dan kehidupan masyarakat. Pengawasan program dengan membuat informasi dan laporan setiap kegiatan. Kendala yang dihadapi program LCC adalah minimnya anggaran untuk mengadakan program-program pelatihan. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah menyesuaikan anggaran yang ada dengan program yang akan dilaksanakan serta melaporkan kepada pihak atasan untuk ditindak lanjuti. Evaluasi keberhasilan program LCC dilihat dari kegiatan peserta yang dilakukan setelah berpartisipasi dalam program LCC.The library creative center program or abbreviated as LCC is a service program that can develop the talents and interests of the community that has been organized by the Office of the Library and Archives of West Kalimantan Province since 2018. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were the LCC program services at the Office of the Library and Archives of West Kalimantan Province. While the object of research is the individuals, groups, and communities involved. Data collection techniques were carried out by collecting primary and secondary data. The data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the LCC program has empowered the community by providing trainings in the form of 1). Basic Computer Training, 2). Handicraft training, and 3) Basic English training. The LCC program has a target as a program that can increase knowledge and creativity in order to improve the economic standard and people's lives. Program supervision by making information and reports on each activity. The obstacle faced by the LCC program is the lack of budget for conducting training programs. The solution is to adjust the existing budget with the program to be implemented and report it to the superiors for follow-up. The evaluation of the success of the LCC program is seen from the activities of the participants after participating in the LCC program.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan peranan Institutional repository sebagai media diseminasi terhadap informasi local content bagi perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan untuk menjawab dan mendeskripsikan masalah dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode studi literatur. Penulis mengungkapkan peranan Institutional repository melalui kajian-kajian berdasarkan teori-teori yang relevan dengan tema yang diangkat oleh penulis. Institutional repository sebagai media menyimpanan, pelestarian, dan diseminasi informasi local content berbasis media teknologi akan bermanfaat jika didukung dengan kebijakan open access informasi. Manfaat yang dapat dirasakan dengan adanya Institutional repository melalui kebijakan open access informasi bagi penulis adalah sebagai sarana untuk menjukan terhadap karya ilmiah terbaiknya, sedangkan bagi institusinya mampu menaikan prestise serta visibilitas institusi  di kancah nasional dan internasional. Riset yang berkualitas akan mampu menciptakan keunggulan dan mengharumkan nama baik universitas melalui repositori kelembagaan, meningkatkan minat untuk studi pada universitas tersebut, serta Institutional Repository dapat membangun collaborative research antara peneliti dari dalam negeri dan peneliti dari luar negeri.  Kata Kunci: Institutional repository, media diseminasi, local contentThis paper describes the role of the Institutional repository as a medium for disseminating local content information for universities. The method used to answer and describe the problem in this paper uses the literature study method. The author reveals the role of the Institutional repository through studies based on theories relevant to the theme raised by the author. Institutional repository as a medium for storing, preserving, and disseminating information on local content based on technology media will be useful if it is supported by an open access information policy. The benefits that can be felt by the existence of an Institutional repository through an open access information policy for writers are as a means to show their best scientific work, while for the institution it is able to increase the prestige and visibility of the institution in the national and international arena. Quality research will be able to create excellence and make the university proud through institutional repositories, increase interest in studying at the university, and the Institutional Repository can build collaborative research between researchers from within the country and researchers from abroad. Keywords:  Institutional repository, media dissemination, local content

Abstract

ABSTRAK:Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembiasaan perilaku senyum pustakawan terhadap pemustaka, pembiasaan perilaku salam dan sapa pustakawan terhadap pemustaka, dan pembiasaan ucapan terimakasih pustakawan terhadap pemustaka. Metode analisis masalah dalam tulisan ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif berdasarkan studi literatur dari berbagai sumber terkait dengan masalah dan tujuan. Adapun hasil dari pembahasan mengenai pembiasaan perilaku senyum bahwa senyum harus dimulai dan dipraktikan oleh pustakawan kepada pemustaka pada awal dimana pustakawan dan pemustaka bertemu. Bentuk senyuman yang dianjurkan untuk dilakukan oleh pustakawan terhadap pemustaka adalah senyum ketabahan/ketegaran dan senyuman tulus. Pembiasaan salam dan sapa dapat dipraktikan dan dibiasakan oleh pustakawan dengan menyapa pengunjung yang datang dengan ucapan  “Assalamu 'alaikum warahmatullah” (bagi orang islam) atau “selamat pagi”, “selamat siang”, “selamat sore” maupun “selamat malam”,  dan berupa sapaan teguran. Sedangkan ucapan terimakasih pada umumnya merupakan bentuk ucapan akhir dari sebuah interaksi antara penyedia layanan dengan pengguna layanan. Pustakawan dapat mempraktikan dan membiasakan ucapan terimakasih kepada pemustaka seperti mengucapkan terima kasih atas kunjangan pemustaka, ucapan terima kasih atas pemanfaatan koleksi perpustakaan, ucapan terima kasih atas kepercayaan kepada pengguna dalam menggunakan layanan perpustakaan. Kata Kunci: Senyum, Salam Sapa, Ucapan Terimakasih, Pustakawan ABSTRACT:This paper aims to describe the habituation of the librarian's smile behavior towards the user, the habituation of the librarian's greeting and greeting behavior towards the user, and the habituation of the librarian's gratitude towards the user. The method of problem analysis in this paper uses descriptive analysis based on literature studies from various sources related to the problem and goal. As for the results of the discussion about the habit of smiling behavior that smiling should be started and practiced by the librarian to the user at the beginning where the librarian and the user meet. The form of smile that is recommended for librarians to do to users is a smile of courage and a smile of sincerity. The custom of greeting and greeting can be practiced and accustomed to by the librarian by greeting visitors who come with the words "Assalamu 'alaikum warahmatullah" (for Muslims) or "good morning", "good afternoon", "good afternoon" or "good night", and in the form of a warning greeting. Meanwhile, gratitude is generally the final form of an interaction between service providers and service users. Librarians can practice and get used to gratitude to users such as saying thank you for the visitor's allowance, thank you for the use of library collections, thank you for trusting users in using library services.Keywords:  Smiles, Greetings, Thanks, Librarian

Abstract

SLiMS merupakan sistem automasi berlandaskan web untuk membantu kegiatan di perpustakaan yang dikontrol oleh cross-platform dan memiliki FOSS serta izin GPLv3. Tujuan penulisan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan fitur SLiMS 9 Bulian di perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Pontianak serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam pemanfaatannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan teknik dokumenter. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 4 informan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan tiga teknik dari uji kredibilitas yaitu meningkatkan ketekunan, triangulasi, mengadakan membercheck. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Pontianak belum memanfaatkan fitur SLiMS 9 Bulian dengan optimal. Fitur yang sudah dimanfaatkan yaitu OPAC, bibliografi, sirkulasi, keanggotaan, sistem, dan manajemen terbitan berseri, sedangkan fitur yang belum dimanfaatkan adalah master file, inventarisasi koleksi, serta pelaporan. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pemanfaatan fitur SLiMS di perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Pontianak  ialah data inventaris yang tidak lengkap, keterbatasan SDM dalam pemanfaatan fitur, serta sarana dan prasarana komputer yang belum memadai di perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Pontianak.Kata Kunci: Sistem Automasi, Fitur, SLiMS 9 Bulian  SLiMS is a web-based automation system to assist library activities which are cross-platform controlled and have FOSS and GPLv3 permissions. The purpose of this paper was to determine the use of the SLiMS 9 Bulian feature in the Pontianak State Polytechnic library and the obstacles faced in its use. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection method in this study used observation, interviews, and documentary techniques. Interviews were conducted with 4 informants. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data validity technique uses three techniques from the credibility test, namely increasing persistence, triangulation, and conducting member checks. The results showed that the Pontianak State Polytechnic library had not utilized the SLiMS 9 Bulian feature optimally. The features that have been utilized are OPAC, bibliography, circulation, membership, system, and serial publication management, while the features that have not been utilized are master files, collection inventory, and reporting. Constraints faced in utilizing the SLiMS feature in the Pontianak State Polytechnic library are incomplete inventory data, limited human resources in the use of features, and inadequate computer facilities and infrastructure in the Pontianak State Polytechnic library.Keywords: Automation System, Features, SLiMS 9 Bulian

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the level of loyalty and interest in reading digital books among Diploma 3 students of the FKIP Library of Tanjungpura University and to determine the effect of loyalty on interest in reading digital books among Diploma 3 students of the FKIP Library of Tanjungpura University. This study uses a quantitative approach so that the data collected can be processed specifically. The population in the study amounted to 58 people, namely all active students in the environment of the Diploma 3 Library study program at FKIP Tanjungpura University. The sample was selected using saturated sampling technique or cencus. Data collection in this study was by semi-structured interviews and then followed by distributing questionnaires to the sample. Value measurement on data results using a Likert scale. The validity test used 30 samples using the Pearson Correlation method. The data analysis technique uses the mean formula followed by the grand mean formula from the overall average. While hypothesis testing is done with simple linear regression tests and product moment correlation tests. The research shows the results that iPusnas application user loyalty has a positive and significant impact on interest in reading digital books

Abstract

Thisl study aims to determinel the quality ofl the library website, the level of ease of library website users and to determine the effect of the quality of the library website on the ease of users at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Pontianak. The method used quantitative approach. The population is all active students of Poltekkes Kemenkes Pontianak which amounts to 568 people. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula which yielded 85 respondents. Data collection methods through documentation and questionnaires. Data measurement in this study used Likert scale. The validity test used Pearson Correlation while the reliability test used Alpha Cronbach with 30 samples. The datal analysis techniquel uses thel mean formulal followed byl the grandl mean formulalof the whole laverage. Test the hypothesis using a simple linear regression test and a correlation test using the product moment. The quality of the website produces a value of 4.01 which is at a good level while the ease of users produces 4.40 which is at a very easy level which shows that the quality of the library website has a positive and significant effect on the ease of users of the Poltekkes Library website of the Ministry of Health Pontianak.
