Abstract

The purpose of this study is to defermine how the implementation mix promotion package at PT. Urbanity Tour and Travel Pekanbaru Riau.The study was used qualitative metodhe with descriptif approach to describe the real condition by collecting the information data in the field. The informan keys in the study were 1 chief excecutive officer and 3 other employees at PT. Urbanity Tour and Travel Pekanbaru Riau. The technique collecting the data in the study used interview, vation and documentation.Based on the result of the study, it is determined that mix promotion conducted in PT. Urbanity Tour and Travel Pekanbaru Riau are advertising via printed media such as newspaper and banner, website media, Personal selling Comonication directly with certain customers, Sales Promotion by giving kickers, Public relation sponsore some events, words of mouth consumers to consumers, Direct marketing using direct contacts, telephones and emails.Key Words : Mix Promotion, Tour Packaget PT. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the performance of Lingga Restaurant waiters at Hotel Ladiva Pekanbaru, to know what factors affect the performance of waiters Lingga Restaurant, and efforts in improving the performance of waiters.This research uses descriptive quantitative method to analyze the problem. The sample used was 30 respondents and the data obtained through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. By using Likert scale as a measuring instrument to determine the length of the interval.Based on the results of research, the performance of waiters at Lingga Restaurant at Hotel Ladiva Pekanbaru consisting of six indicators are: ability, motivation, attitude, situatation, knowledge, skill. The performance of the most unfortunate waiters is on the ability of waiters.Keywords: Performance, Waiters, Restaurant

Abstract

This research aimed to implementation of bellboy duty of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru. This research aims : (1) to know show the bellboy duty implementation of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru, (2) to knows the resistance of bellboy duty implementation of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru. sample in this research are the Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager and Supervisor Front Office Department Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru as an key informan. This research uses descriptive method to clarify the issues raised in this research. the results of this research indicate that based on the research results obtained on bellboy duty implementation of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru could be good enough. this is proved by the result of observation and interview was doing by researcher. constraints implementation of bellboy duty of front office department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru: (1)Bellboy Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru have to increase their ability on service quality. (2) Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru still have problems to do the bellboy implementation, such as languange problems, rolling system and tools system. Abstract

This research aimed to know the analys of barista’s product quality amd service quality at Krema Koffie PekanbaruIn this research, the writer was using the qualitative method tp analyze the problem taken. The data were gotten from 10 (ten) infomants, they were 2 (two) owners of Krema Koffie, 2 (two) Barista of Krema, 3 (three) reguler customers and 3 (three) irreguler customer. The techniques which have been used in this research, were observation, interview and document.Based on the interview result has shown the barista’s product quality and service quality were still needed the improvement.Key words: Product Quality, Service Quality, Barista

Abstract

A system management is a process associated with the implementation of indicators ofmanagement or management functions that play an important and effective role in supportingthe achievement of goals. the management of the room linen at Hotel Pangeran Pekanbaruincludes the control of all the fabrics contained in a hotel room which includes bath towel, handtowel, face towel, sheet, bad pad, curtain and bath mat. Linen Circulation Flow Steps includeLinen Inventory, Par Stock, Repair, Linen Control, Linen Exchange and Wash Standart. Thedata were analyzed descriptively. Methods of data collection using, interview, observation anddocumentation.Linen control of the linen at the hotel Pekanbaru can be said good in checking thecondition of linen is also good. about the frequency of redundant linen exchange is categorizedvery well, because linen is exchanged every time it is used for filled rooms. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the quality of service waiters at The Cafe Hotel Premiere Pekanbaru, to know the factors apasaja affect waiters service at breakfast session at The Cafe Hotel Premiere Pekanbaru.This research uses descriptive quantitative method to analyze the problem. The sample used is 100 respondents and the data obtained using questionnaires, observations, and interviews. By using Likert scale as a tool to determine the length of the interval.Based on the research results, the quality of waiters service at breakfast session at The Cafe Hotel Premiere Pekanbaru consisting of five indicators are: Tangible, Emphaty, Responsiveness, Assurance, Reliability. Abstract

This research aims to determine how the implementation of the management of elephant Things Taman Hutan Raya Sultan Syarif Hasyim Siak District of Minas. This research used descriptive qualitative method to examine problems in the lift. In this study, researchers used three (3) key informant, key informant or infoman key is people who know the ins and outs of the phenomenon under study. then In the study the researchers also used an additional informant that there are four (4) additional informant that is used by researchers to supplement the information carefully.While data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation, and documentation.Based on the research that has been done, the response of speakers that in Elephant Training Center Minas has a human resources / trainers, paramedics, biological resources / fauna, Stake holder, Travelers / consumer, Region / area, boundaries area, Animal protection , Wildlife animals. but it is still effective and the maximum is still due to land disputes and no permission from the Ministry of forestry Riau Province. Abstract

Broadly speaking, the stages in performing the management include planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. Planning is the basic process of an activity and is an absolute requirement of a management activity.Management done on the art area of Bandar Serai Pekanbaru is a form of management that is done with cooperation on every existing field. Bandar Serai area is an area that has a complex function. The function used is as a function of MICE implementation location. MICE activities conducted in the form of exhibition activities are more often held. The implementation of exhibition activities in this area has a relatively high number compared to other areas in Pekanbaru that are not hotel based.Management is not only management during the activity, but how the management is done before and after the activity. In accordance with the purpose of this study, which is intended to find out how the implementation of Exhibition activities conducted by the manager of Bandar Serai area through UPT-D officials Bandar Serai reviewed based on management functions, namely: planning, organizing, directing and supervision based on theory G. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of promotion by the manager Taman Satwa Kandi and factor inhibiting in the implementation of promotion.This research used a qualitative method with descriptive approach, this subjects of this research is chairman of PT.WWS as the manager, staff of PT.WWS promotion, head of marketing and tourism cooperation department of tourism, youth and sport department, and additional informants are visitors. The data collection is made by a interview, observation, and documentation.The result of this research is manager Taman Satwa Kandi has done promotion trought four media namely advertising, sales promotion, publicity, and personal selling. The inhibiting factor of the implementation of such promotion faced by the manager is the manager is not focused on the development of a one tourist attraction only because of the management in the form of PT shelter the four attractions, the quality of existing human resources is less than optimal, and the lack of cost in promotions.Keywords : Advertising, sales promotion, publicity, personal selling

Abstract

Pekanbaru has tourism potencial as nature tourism, cultural tourism, religious tourism and history tourism. Event Petang Megang held on the afternoon before welcoming the holy month of Ramadan. Because it, this research was conducted to find out how to implementation event Petang Megang di Kota Pekanbaru. Which is conducted by Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Pekanbaru to increase the number of tourist visits in pekanbaru city.This study aims to know how implementation Event Petang Megang as well as the intent and purpose implementation Event Petang Megang di Kota Pekanbaru.This research used descriptive qualitative method to examine the issues raised by analyzing implementation Event Petang Megang di Kota Pekanbaru. As for key informant in this research as many as five people involved as perpetrator of event,taken from the interview.While data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation.The result of this study show that implementation Event Petang Megang it’s been much different in the past because of the time that has been shortened and the of process of change in the activity at the time of the event, with the change in the implementation of this event on the afternoon of the past is the cultural preservation while at the present time it’s an Event petang Megang to preserve culture and as a cultural tourism.In the implementation of the Event Petang Megang there are several races that are catching the ducks, melayu song, and runway.So with the holding of the will increase the number of tourist arrivals in pekanbaru city to follow the Event Petang Megang.Petang Megang has become a flagship event in the city of pekanbaru so it must be preserved because this event is a legacy of the ancestors of the tribe melayu.Keywords : Event, Petang Megang, Tradition in Pekanbaru
