Abstract

Flight safety is very much determined by the performance of navigation aids, as well as thecorrectness of flight procedure guidelines. The BBKFP Center as the only aviationequipment calibration service agency has a strategic role for aviation safety in asustainable manner. The purpose of this research is to map the performance of BBKFPand the assessment of users of calibration services to provide recommendations, inparticular, the future calibration service development strategy, and the management ofcalibration of aviation navigation equipment in general. The research method uses a casestudy with the Importance-Performance Analysis method approach to measuring the extentof the relationship between the level of user satisfaction and the performance of flightnavigation tool calibration services based on 12 standard service indicators. The resultsfound that the highest level of service was the standard document calibration process of100% and the lowest level of service was timeliness of service by 64%. The factor that stillneeds immediate improvement is the timeliness of service and the Management System andService Procedures. While the factors that must be corrected but not immediately theircharacteristics include Complaint Services; Demand-Supply Balance, Service Rates,Service and Internal Supervision Meeting.

Abstract

The construction of shelters that were not carried out simultaneously resulted in theconstruction of shelters along the Penggaron – Simpang Lima Semarang routeexperiencing differences even though they were in the same location. There is a needfor a review from the government regarding the capacity of the bus stops, thecondition of the shelters, the layout of the shelters and the distance of the bus stopsthat are still less than the standard. The lack of facilities owned by some TransSemarang bus stops and the distance from the bus stop users to the destination stopis still quite far, so people prefer to use private vehicles. From several analysisresults, there are several criteria that must be met for the placement of the positionand the distance of the bus stop that will affect the speed of the Trans Semarang busin determining the optimal location for a bus stop, one of the important factors isknowing the location of requests from BRT users where the location of the bus stoprequest is a source of generation. and the attraction of population movement and thelocation of the mode change before or after using the selected one.

Abstract

The Jenderal Sudirman area has a strategic function as a trade and service area that gives strong character in the Salatiga. The growth of trade and service activities has increased to become a regional trading area that is influenced by modern trade. With the existence of modern shopping centers, five-star hotels, banking services beside the existing traditional markets affect the increasement of activities. The high intensity of activities raises problems related to traffic congestion. The purpose of this research is to determine the performance of the road network in the Jenderal Sudirman area and formulate a traffic management strategy to deal with the current traffic problems. This research was conducted by analyzing the existing conditions. The method of calculating volume, degree of saturation, and speed used is MKJI 1997. This study uses the SATURN 10.4 program to determine overall network performance. The results showed that the existing condition of the Jenderal Sudirman area undergone problems in Jalan Jenderal Sudirman (2 directions) with 0.86 degree of saturation. The first scenario analysis shows the value of the degree of saturation in Jalan Jenderal Sudirman dropped to 0.55; The Second scenario analysis to 0.90; and the third scenario analysis becomes 0.98. As for the overall network performance, first scenario has advantages on 3 indicators, namely average speed, passenger car unit(pcu)-hour, pcu-rupiah. Based on the overall analysis, a concept of handling traffic problems can be arranged by applying the traffic management strategy first scenario and second scenario through the short-term and long-term stages.

Abstract

The road conditions with potholes, hilly topography, and narrow roads are factors that affect accessibility in the Sikka Regency area. This study aims to examine the level of accessibility of public passenger cars and their effect on the economic development of the community in the research location. This study uses a combined quantitative-qualitative research method with analysis of the level of accessibility and linear regression analysis. The results show that the level of accessibility in Paga District and Bola District is moderate, which means that public passenger car access is not smooth, while the level of accessibility in Magepanda District is very high, which means that access to public passenger cars is very smooth. Then accessibility has a significant effect on the economic development of the community in Paga District and Magepanda District, while accessibility does not have a significant effect on the economic development of the community in Bola District. This condition is caused in addition to the steep topography and damaged road conditions, but also the number of fleets and inadequate conditions that will affect activities to carry out agricultural product sales transactions.

Abstract

Perkembangan pariwisata di kota Semarang ditandai dengan tersedianya fasilitas shuttle bus gratis. Rute shuttle bus tersebut melewati rute Kuliner Pekunden, Pusat oleh-oleh Pandanaran, Gedung Lawang Sewu dan Daerah Kota Lama Semarang.Sejak tahun 2012, wisata di tepi Sungai Kanal Banjir Barat mulai dikembangkan pemerintah Kota Semarang. Namun, sampai saat ini Kanal Banjir Barat hanya difungsikan sebagai sungai pengendali banjir, sehingga fungsi pariwisatanya belum optimal seperti objek wisata lain di Kota Semarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan transportasi wisata air, khususnya di Kanal Banjir Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan kuesioner dan observasi lapangan. Metode kuantitatif penentuan alur pelayaran menggunakan analisis hidrologi dan simulasi hidrolika sungai dengan program HEC-RAS. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa lokasi pengembangan transportasi untuk wisata air di Kanal Banjir Barat akan efektif jika berada diantara Bendung Simongan hingga muara Kanal Banjir Barat. Tipe angkutan wisata yang ideal adalah menggunakan 2 kapal speedboat terbuka dengan dimensi panjang 8 m, lebar 2,2 m, dan draft 0,4 m. Biaya Operasional Kapal per tahun untuk 8 trip per hari dan biaya pengelolaannya adalah sebesar Rp 901,2 juta dengan estimasi tarif per orang sebesar untuk Rp 17.070,- per trip. [Title: River Transportation Development of Semarang City for Water Tourism: A Case Study West Flood Canal] Tourism development of Semarang city is identified by the facilities of free shuttle bus. The shuttle bus service passes through Pekunden culinary route, a central souvenir of Pandanaran, Lawang Sewu and Old City of Semarang. Since 2012, local government has developed riverside tourism object of the West Flood Canal Semarang. However, until then the West Flood Canal only was functioned as flood control. Thus, the tourism function is not optimum as other tourism attractions in Semarang city. This research aims to develop the water tourism transportation, especially in the West Flood Canal. This research uses a descriptive method by questionnaires and field observations. Quantitative methods of determining ship channel using hydrological analysis and simulation of river hydraulics with HEC-RAS program. This study recommends that the location of the development of transportation of water tourism in the West Flood Canal would be effective if it is located in between the estuary of Simongan weir to the West Flood Canal. The ideal type of transport mode uses two open speedboats with dimensions of 8 m length, 2.2 m width, and a draft of 0.4 m. Ship Operating Costs per year for eight trips per day and its management fee is Rp 901.2 million with the estimated fare per person about USD 17.070, - per trip.

Abstract

Tata ruang rute perjalanan Jl. Trimulyo – Jl. Pemuda memiliki fungsi kawasan industri, dan pendidikan sedangkan Jl. Woltermonginsidi – Jl. Pandanaran sebagai kawasan komersial, perkantoran dan wisata, salah satunya adalah Lawang Sewu. Moda transportasi yang semakin beragam dan ramai tidak diimbangi dengan kapasitas jalan yang memadai, perubahan pola penggunaan lahan menjadikan peningkatan arus urbanisasi yang beragam sehingga menyebabkan banyak aktivitas yang memicu hambatan samping pada rute jalan tersebut. Adanya kaitan kinerja dan hambatan samping mengindikasikan timbulnya kemacetan lalu lintas. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi waktu tempuh rute perjalanan menuju tempat wisata Lawang Sewu. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Deduktif Kuantitatif Rasionalistik dengan alat analisis statistik deskriptif, penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa penumpukan suatu arus kendaraan yang menuju pada suatu tempat dengan menggunakan pilihan jalur yang sama menimbulkan kepadatan lalu lintas dan mengakibatkan kemacetan. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan Rute perjalanan yaitu kepadatan arus lalu lintas dan hambatan samping seperti penyeberang jalan, parkir ditepi jalan, pedagang kaki lima, dan renovasi atau konstruksi jalan menuju objek wisata Lawang Sewu.
