Abstract

The main focus of this paper,comparative elaboration of Easter egg in Orthodox Christianity in Eastern Europe and Maulid egg in southern Sulawesi, become the strategic field of female engagement with their communality. The very crucial element in this brief comparison is the obvious feminine quality of both Maulid egg and Easter egg, thus both of this socio-religious practices conducted, exercised, examined by female subjects in its primer state. I construct the feminine role in Maulid egg and Easter egg through three centripetal stages in which feminine subject articulate its self-definition and self-positioning in socio-religious landscape; garden, kitchen, and public ritual occupying public sphere, all of which reflect the strategic and irreversible role and self-articulation by feminine subjects.

Abstract

Wafatnya Rasulullah Saw. meninggalkan lubang besar trauma dalam tubuh politik ummat Islam menyangkut apa karakter kekuasaan yang dimiliki oleh Rasulullah Saw., siapa yang berhak diterima sebagai pewaris kuasa Rasulullah Saw., bagaimana modus operandi kuasa pewaris Rasulullah Saw. Pertanyaan-pertanyaan ini bermuara pada pelacakan tiga posisi subjek epistemologis cum historis yang hadir dalam realitas sosial ummat Islam.  Tiga posisi ini adalah a). Imam Syiah, b). Ahli Fikih (Faqih jamak Fukaha), c). Sufi & Pelaku `irfan (Arif jamak `Urafa) yang lazim dikenal sebagai wali jamak awliya. Tiga posisi ini mesti dibaca sebagai relasi kontestatif power-knowledge cum biopolitics yang menyarankan bahwa relasi dan produksi kuasa-pengetahuan senantiasa bermuara pada hirarki subjek dalam masyarakat dengan tujuan mereproduksi kepatuhan sehingga tatanan social Islami bisa terwujud.
