Forests are a valuable resource for living things. Forest disturbance is increasing, one of which is caused by fire. Forest fires can cause damage to the physical properties of the soil. This study aims to compare the physical properties of soil in burned and unburned forests. This research was conducted at the Pocut Meurah Intan Forest Park, Aceh Province. The research method used is a descriptive survey method by taking samples of burned and unburned forests in the field using the simple random sampling method and then continued with the analysis of soil physical properties at the Laboratory of Soil and Environmental Physics, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University. The parameters observed were Bulk Density, Porosity, Permeability, Soil Water Content, C-organic Content, soil profile observations and soil color observations. The results showed that fire had an effect on Soil Volume Weight, Soil Porosity, Permeability, Soil Water Content and C-organic which caused a decrease in soil quality, while the Soil Color observations changed to dark and the Soil Profile observations did not change in structure or soil texture
