<![CDATA[Abstrak. Hutan desa adalah hutan negara yang dikelola oleh desa dan dimanfaatkan untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengidentifikasi faktor–faktor internal dan eksternal yang berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan pengelolaan hutan desa dan mengetahui strategi yang perlu dilakukan dalam pengelolaan hutan desa Kampung Agusen, agar dapat berhasil dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif diskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini Faktor internal: Pemerintah Kabupaten Gayo Lues sangat mendukung dalam pengelolaan hutan desa, tingkat wawasan masyarakat dalam berusaha tani cukup tinggi, adanya tenaga pendamping dalam proses pengajuan ijin IUPHD, dan terbentuknya program kelompok patroli dalam hutan desa. Dan faktor eksternal: Potensi sumber pendapatan masyarakat, potensi penggunaan dan pemanfaatan fungsi hutan, perencanaan pengelolaan hutan desa diimplementasikan dengan pola tanaman campuran (agroforestri). Sedangkan strategi yang dapat ditawarkan dalam pengembangan hutan desa Gembulo Berkah Kampung Agusen, Kabupaten Gayo Lues, Provinsi Aceh adalah strategi (S-T; Strenght-Threats), yaitu strategi diversifikasi, memanfaatkan seluruh kekuatan untuk menghindari ancaman.Abstract Village forest is a state forest managed by the village and used for the welfare of the village community. The results of this study Internal factors: The Government of Gayo Lues Regency is very supportive in village forest management, the level of community insight in farming is quite high, the presence of assistants in the IUPHD permit application process, and the formation of a patrol group program in the village forest. And external factors: Potential sources of community income, potential use and utilization of forest functions, village forest management planning implemented with mixed cropping patterns (agroforestry).
