Abstract

Abstrak.  Penelitian evaluasi nilai kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik amoniasi ampas sereh wangi (Cymbopogon nardus) pada domba ekor tipis jantan, dilakukan dengan  metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL) 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan A adalah tanpa adanya substitusi  limbah  sereh  wangi amoniasi (0%), B substitusi limbah sereh wangi amoniasi (10%), C substitusi limbah sereh wangi amoniasi (20%) dan D substitusi limbah sereh wangi amoniasi (30%).  Parameter  yang diamati meli konsumsi pakan, kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa substitusi limbah sereh wangi fermentasi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P0.05) terhadap konsumsi pakan, kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organik. Evaluation of  Digestion Value of Dry Matter and Organic Matter of Ammoniation Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) in Thin-Tailed SheepAbstract. Research on the evaluation of  digestion value of dry matter and organic matter of ammoniation citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) in thin-tailed sheep was carried out using the Latin squore Design method with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment A was the absence of substitution of ammoniation citronella waste (0%), treatment B was the existence of ammoniation citronella waste substitution (10%), treatment C was the substitution of ammoniation citronella waste (20%), treatment D of the substitution of ammoniation citronella waste (30%). The parameters observed include the feed consumption, digestibility of dry matter and digestibility of organic matter. The results showed that the substitution of fermented citronella had no significant effect (P 0.05) on the consumption of dry matter, digestibility of dry matter and digestibility of organic matter.
