ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to determine the effect of the enriched rotifer with Chlorella powder, Chlorellaconcentrate and Chlorella live on the growth and maintenance of snapper larvae (Lates calcarifer). This research was conducted at Balai Perikanan Budidaya Air Payau (BPBAP) Ujung Batee in March 2018. This study used an experimental method with complete randomized design with 4 treatment levels and 4 replications. Difference of treatments tested were A; feeding of rotifer without Chlorella (control), B; feeding of enriched rotifer with Chlorella powder, C; feeding of enriched rotifer with Chlorella concentrates and D; feeding of enriched rotifer with fresh Chlorella. The results of ANOVA test showed that giving of Chlorella sp. which is different to rotifers, has a significant effect on absolute long growth and survival rate of white snapper larvae (P 0.05). The results of this study indicate that the highest absolute long growth value is found in treatment D with a value of 3.80 mm and a survival rate of 55.5%.Keywords: Chlorella sp., Brachionus plicatilis, Lates calcarifer, snapper. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rotifer yang diperkaya Chlorella tepung, Chlorella konsentrat dan Chlorella hidup terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup larva ikan kakap putih (Lates calcarifer). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Balai Perikanan Budidaya Air Payau (BPBAP) Ujung Batee pada bulan Maret 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan 4 taraf perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perbedaan perlakuan yang diuji adalah A; pemberian rotifer tanpa Chlorella (kontrol), B; pemberian rotifer diperkaya Chlorella tepung, C; pemberian rotifer diperkaya Chlorella konsentrat dan D; pemberian rotifer diperkaya Chlorella hidup. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Chlorella sp. yang berbeda terhadap rotifer, berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan panjang mutlak (PPM) dan kelangsungan hidup (SR) larva kakap putih (P0,05). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai pertumbuhan panjang mutlak tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan D dengan nilai 3,80 mm dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 55,5%.
