Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to increase students' interest in thesubject of Natural Science. The method used in this research wasClassroom Action Research (CAR) by using learning Quantum TeachingModel. The result of the research showed increases in students’ interest inthe subject of Natural Sciences on each cycle. From the results obtainedonthe pre cycle, students who were interested in studying Natural Scienceamounted to 2 students, and on cycle I, the number of students who tookan interest in studying Natural Science is 4 students, whileon cycle II, thefigure of the students who were interested in studying Natural Science is 6students.Keywords: student interest, natural science learning (ipa), quantumteaching model.Abstrak : Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat belajarsiswa terhadap mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Metodedalam penelitian ini ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) denganmenggunakan pembelajaran Model Quantum Teaching. Hasil Penelitianadanya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam(IPA) dalam setiap siklusnya, dari hasil yang didapat terlihat dalam prasiklus, siswa yang berminat belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu PengetahuanAlam (IPA) berjumlah 2 siswa, pada siklus I, siswa yang berminat belajarmata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) berjumlah 4 siswa, danpada siklus II, siswa yang berminat belajar mata pelajaran IlmuPengetahuan Alam (IPA) berjumlah 6 siswa.Kata Kunci: minat belajar siswa, pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam(IPA), model quantum teaching.

Abstract

Based on the researcher's experience when implementing the learning tools in STKIP Budidaya Binjai, student learning outcomes in the linear algebra course were still low. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the online jigsaw cooperative learning model on linear algebra learning outcomes by utilizing the Matlab software for STKIP Binjai Cultivation Students during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. In the experimental class, it was treated using cooperative learning type jigsaw and the control class was given treatment using conventional learning then given a pretest and posttest. The Matlab program can be used as a tool in learning linear algebra without forgetting the importance of mastering concepts, theories, and procedures. The data in this study were analyzed using a simple regression test. The average score of students' mathematics learning outcomes in the experimental class before and after learning was 44.95 and 77.95. Meanwhile, the control class was 40.10 and 62.55. Based on these results, it is proven that the average mathematics learning outcomes of the experimental class are greater than the average control class. Likewise in hypothesis testing, the significance value or probability value = 0.008 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an effective use of the jigsaw cooperative learning model on Linear Algebra learning outcomes by using matlab software for STKIP Budidaya Binjai students.

Abstract

Abstract Problems are often found in education, especially embroidery is poor learning outcomes and student work. The purpose of this study to determine how learning strategies embroidery class XI in SMK N 8 Padang. The theory used in this study is consistent with theories delivery of content strategy, organization and management of learning. This research is a qualitative research method description. Data obtained on delivery strategy learning materials, learning organization, learning and management in the data exposure was done by teachers and students. Based on data analysis, and data validity checker, strategy presentation, organizing strategies and learning management strategies have been implemented by the teacher,  but not maximized so that the learning outcomes and student work was not optimal Keywords: strategy, learning, embroidery.
