Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi pada masa pandemic COVID-19 mengharuskan pendidik melakukan kegiatan mengajar di rumah. Pendidik dituntut dapat menggunakan dan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pembelajaran daring. Penilitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui keterampilan guru matematika dalam pemanfaatan platform pembelajaran online dan mengetahui bagaimana kualitas pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian mixed method yaitu menggabungkan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 122 guru matematika se-Kabupaten Kuningan dengan jumlah 44 sekolah (9 negeri dan 35 swasta). Peneliti menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 25 guru dari 10 sekolah (5 negeri dan 5 swasta). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan guru dalam konteks TIK masuk dalam kategori “Kurang Baik”. Kualitas pembelajaran cenderung menurun, dan nilai-nilai karakter menurun. Pencapaian siswa pada masa pandemic umumnya belum mencapai nilai KKM yang sudah ditentukan oleh sekolah. Hasil nilai rapor siswa juga cenderung fluktuatif.The problem faced during the pandemic COVID-19 requires that educators perform teaching activities at home. Educators must be able to use and utilize technology for online learning. This study aims to determine the skills of mathematics teachers in the use of learning platforms online; to find out how the quality of the resulting learning. This research uses research, mixed-method which combine quantitative and qualitative methods. The population in this study consisted of 122 mathematics teachers throughout Kuningan Regency with a total of 44 schools (9 public and 35 private). Researchers used the technique Cluster Random Sampling with a sample of 25 teachers from 10 schools (5 public and 5 private). The results of the study indicate that the skills of teachers in the context of ICT are included in the "Not Good". The quality of learning tends to decrease, and character values decline, besides that, many student achievements during the pandemic have not reached the KKM value that has been determined by the school, and fluctuating student report card scores are also shown.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah guru mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan lemahnya keterampilan siswa dalam berpikir tingkat tinggi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui respon siswa dalam belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran CPS dan mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan HOTS siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran CPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan eksperimen dengan pendekatan pre-experimental design yaitu penelitian dengan satu kelompok pretes-posttes. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII A. Instrumen yang digunakan angket dan tes. Berdasarkan analisis data, respon angket siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran CPS adalah 69%. Sebagian besar respon siswa menyatakan setuju terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran CPS sebesar 40,42%. Sementara itu, analisis skor pretest dan posttest siswa menggunakan N-gain, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest siswa yaitu 44,875 dan 71,250 maka diperoleh nilai N-gain adalah 0,47. Setelah itu, uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus product moment, diperoleh nilai signifikansi antara angket dan nilai posttest adalah 0,820. Dengan demikian, seluruh data menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran CPS dapat meningkatkan HOTS siswa kelas VII.

Abstract

Based on student perceptions, this study describes mathematics teachers' personalities and social competence at MTsN 2 Cirebon. This study examines and describes mathematics teachers' personalities and social competencies based on student perceptions of MTsN 2 Cirebon. This type of research uses mixed research methods and a sequential explanatory design. The population in this study was all class VIII MTsN 2 Cirebon, and the sample in this study was 134 students. The data collection techniques are questionnaires and interviews using instruments like questionnaire results and interview guidelines. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics and descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the description of the personality competence of mathematics teachers at MTsN 2 Cirebon, according to the analysis of student perceptions in general, was categorized as good with a percentage of 72.67%, which was supported by the results of student interviews stating that the teacher always dressed neatly and according to the official schedule, starting and ending timely learning. However, there are indicators of personality competence that have not been maximized, namely the teacher being a role model for students, with a smaller percentage than the other three indicators of personality competence, namely 68.38%. Moreover, the social competence of mathematics teachers at MTsN 2 Cirebon, according to the analysis of student perceptions in general, is categorized as good. Supported the results of student interviews state that the teacher, when in class, interacts well with students and cares about students by reprimanding, advising, and repeating learning that has not been understood, but if outside the classroom, the teacher is just ordinary, not so close, just saying hello like other teachers.

Abstract

This The 21st century requires human resources who have superior quality with critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. Education is the main sector that plays a role in increasing the number of human resources with superior skills. The research objectives are: 1) Knowing the mathematical literacy skills of students 2) Knowing the higher order thinking skills of students 3) Knowing the correlation between mathematical literacy and students' higher-order thinking skills. The research method used in this research is correlational, without giving any treatment. The data collection technique in this study was a test technique, with the research population being students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Kuningan with a total of 249 students. The sampling technique used was Stratified Random Sampling so that the number of samples taken was 35 students. The results obtained that the level of mathematical literacy ability seen in each indicator obtained results on the formulate indicator with a mean value of 66.09 being in the good category, the mean value of the employing indicator of 78.43 being in the good category, while the mean value of the employing indicator was 78.43. the indicator interprets the mean value of 27.51 in the low category. Meanwhile, the level of students' higher order thinking skills seen in each indicator obtained an average score or mean from the analyzing indicator (C4) of 56, the C5 indicator evaluated getting the mean or average value of 53.57, and the mean value of the C6 indicator. create 44.57. The mean or average value obtained for each indicator is interpreted based on test scores with a sufficient category for the C4 indicator, the low category for the C5 indicator, and the very low category on the C6 indicator, and the results of this study indicate that there is a significant correlation between mathematical literacy and ability students' higher order thinking.
