Abstract

This research aims to determine the cognitive profile of students' creative thinking on learning mathematics model Jigsaw through discovery learning approach. The method used in this research is a quantitative method that is experimental with one-shot case study design study. Student response to the application of jigsaw learning model through discovery learning approach showed a positive response, with average percentage 69.2% and included in strong category, while for the average mastery of class 78,51. The students' creative thinking ability after being given treatment by applying jigsaw learning model through discovery learning approach has increased. From the observations during the learning at each meeting experienced a significant increase, with the average percentage of 53.81% included into the good category. Then it can be concluded that the creative thinking ability of class VIII I students in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Cirebon during learning by using jigsaw model through discovery learning approach is said to have good categorization.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui profil kognitif berfikir kreatif siswa pada pembelajaran matematika model Jigsaw melalui pendekatan discovery learning. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif yang bersifat eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one shot case study. Respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran jigsaw melalui pendekatan discovery learning menunjukan respon yang positif, dengan rata-rata persentase 69,2% dan termasuk dalam kategori kuat, sedangkan untuk ketuntasan rata-rata kelas 78,51. Kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran jigsaw melalui pendekatan discovery learning mengalami kenaikan. Dari hasil pengamatan selama pembelajaran di setiap pertemuannya mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 53,81% termasuk kedalam kategori baik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa kelas VIII I di MTs Negeri 1 Kota Cirebon selama pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model jigsaw melalui pendekatan discovery learning dikatakan berkategori baik.

Abstract

AbstrakKomunikasi matematis dan kemandirian belajar merupakan hal yang sangat penting dimiliki oleh siswa dan merupakan bagian esensial dari matematika. Masih rendahnya kemampuan matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa di lapangan, guru harus mengupayakan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan peluang dan mendorong siswa untuk melatih kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa, salah satu media pembelajaran tersebut yaitu media UnoMath. Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media UnoMath terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-posttest control group, penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 3 Rajagaluh, kelas VIII A sebanyak 21 orang dan VIII C sebanyak 31 orang sebagai sampel, dengan instrumen tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji-t dengan berbantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Effect of Application of UnoMath Media to Improve Mathematical Communication Skills and Self-Regulated Learning AbstractMathematical communication and self-regulated learning are very important things for students and are an essential part of mathematics. Still low mathematical abilities and self-regulated learning student in the field, teachers must strive for learning by applying learning media that can provide opportunities and encourage students to practice mathematical communication skills and self-regulated learning student, one of these learning media is UnoMath media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of UnoMath media on improving students' mathematical communication skills and self-regulated learning. The method used in this research is experimental research with a quantitative approach with pretest-posttest control group design, this research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Rajagaluh, class VIII A as many as 21 people and VIII C as many as 31 people as a sample, with test instruments and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is the t-test assisted by SPSS. The results showed an increase in mathematical communication skills and a self-regulated learning student.

Abstract

Abstract This research is an experimental research. The population in this study were all seventh grade studens of SMPN 2 Pabedilan, Cirebon Regency, academic year 2018/2019 even semester. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling. The sample used is class VII-C. The instruments used were test instruments in the form of descriptions test and non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires and observations. Based on the results of the study, the students’ response to the use of mathematical card media in learning from the three indicators of 18.18% had a very good response category and 81.82 had a good response category. Hypothesis test result from the use of mathematical card media on students’ ability to comprehend mathematical concepts and self efficacy with linear regression test produce significance values (2-tailed) <a (0.05) so that H0 is rejected and has a positive correlation with the ability to understand mathemtical concept and self efficacy of student. Keywords: Learning media, math cards, ability to understand mathematical concepts, self efficacy Abstrak Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Pabedilan, Kabupaten Cirebon, tahun akademik 2018/2019 semester genap. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VII-C. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes berupa tes uraian dan instrumen non tes berupa angket dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media kartu matematika dalam belajar dari tiga indikator 18,18% memiliki kategori respon yang sangat baik dan 81,82 memiliki kategori respon yang baik. Hasil uji hipotesis dari penggunaan media kartu matematika terhadap kemampuan siswa memahami konsep matematika dan self efficacy dengan uji regresi linier menghasilkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) <a (0,05) sehingga H0 ditolak dan memiliki korelasi positif dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika dan kemandirian diri siswa. Abstract

Abstract Education is a very important part of development. In education a process cannot be separated by the development process itself. The progress of the nation and the survival of the nation is seen from the progress or failure of an education. The Minister of Education and Culture issued a policy according to education, which initially took the form of a rayonization system to become a zoning system in the acceptance of new students. With this zoning system, it is hoped that the acceptance of new students can run without discrimination and be able to provide equal opportunities for every student to receive formal education, regardless of low cognitive or economic abilities. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the implementation of the student admission program on student mathematics learning outcomes and to determine the stakeholder's response to the new student admission program through the zoning system. The research method used is through the Mix Method approach (Mixed Research). The collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The evaluation results show that the mathematics learning outcomes of students received through the zoning system tend not to be better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students received through the non-zoning system. Stakeholder response consisting of the information section of the education office, second curriculum, community and parents. In general, the zoning system rules must be improved starting from the distribution of zoning routes, the percentage of zoning routes and achievement pathways, then leveling the facilities and infrastructure in each school. In general, parents and the community do not agree with the zoning system rules for PPDB because parents are not free to send their children to schools which they consider to be of good quality. Keywords: Zoning, Learning Outcomes, Stakeholders Abstrak Pendidikan merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam pembangunan. Dalam pendidikan suatu proses itu tidak bisa dipisahkan oleh proses pembangunan itu sendiri. Kemajuan bangsa dan kelangsungan hidup bangsa dilihat dari maju tidaknya suatu pendidikan. Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) mengeluarkan kebijakan sesuai pendidikan yang mulanya berupa sistem rayonisasi menjadi sitem zonasi dalam penerimaa peserta didik baru (PPDB). Dengan adanya sistem zonasi ini diharapkan penerimaan peserta didik baru dapat berjalan tanpa diskriminasi dan mampu memberikan kesempatan yang sama bagi setiap peserta didik untuk mengenyam pendidikan formal, terlepas dari kemampuan kognitif atau ekonomi yang rendah. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dampak dari pelaksanaan program penerimaan peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa dan untuk mengetahui respon stakeholder terhadap program penerimaan peserta didik baru melalui sistem zonasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan melalui pendekatan Mix Method (Penelitian Campuran). Teknik Pengumpulan yang digunakan adalah wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diterima melalui sistem zonasi cenderung tidak lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diterima melalui sistem non-zonasi. Respon stakeholder yang terdiri dari bagian informasi dinas pendidikan, wakasek kurikulum, masyarakat dan orang tua. Secara umum aturan sistem zonasi harus dibenahi mulai dari pembagian jalur zonasi, besar prosentase jalur zonasi dan jalur prestasi, kemudian meratakan sarana dan prasarana disetiap sekolah. Secara umum orang tua dan masyarakat kurang setuju adanya aturan sistem zonasi terhadap PPDB dikarenakan orang tua tidak bebas menyekolahkan anaknya ke sekolah yang mereka anggap mempunyai kualitas yang bagus. Abstract

The development of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method was based on the needs analysis results. The findings include that students' understanding of mathematical concepts is still not optimal, and teachers' selection of learning models is still not appropriate. The CIRC learning model applied in schools is still not optimal or has several shortcomings. The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the development of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts; (2) know the improvement of students' understanding of mathematical concepts who received the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method; (3) knowing the difference in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts between those who received the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method and those who received the application of the CIRC learning model; (4) knowing students' responses to the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method. The results showed that: (1) the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method was included in the valid criteria and should be tested based on the product validation results. (2) there is an increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the experimental class who get the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method of 0.88 (high criteria). (3) there is a significant difference between the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method and the application of the CIRC learning model to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts (4) The student response to the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method is 79% (very good) positive students (accept).

Abstract

AbstrakPersoalan di lapangan menunjukkan banyak guru yang belum mampu mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa. Hal tersebut menyebabkan fungsi guru yang seharusnya inovatif, kreatif, mengarahkan, membimbing dan memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa tidak berjalan dengan maksimal. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid, praktis dan efektif melalui pendekatan scaffolding berbasis karakter mengacu model Thiagarajan. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar pengamatan karakter kemandirian, keterampilan berpikir kreatif, kemampuan guru mengelola kelas, angket respon siswa, validasi perangkat pembelajaran, dan instrumen TKBK. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMAN 1 Tanjung kelas X.MIPA 2 berjumlah 33 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid, pembelajaran matematika dinyatakan efektif dengan ketuntasan rata-rata kelas 76,70 dan ketuntasan klasikal 85%, adanya pengaruh positif karakter kemandirian dan keterampilan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebesar 0,782, serta adanya perbedaan signifikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata 76,70 lebih baik dari kelas kontrol sebesar 70,24.kata kunci: pendekatan scaffolding, karakter, berpikir kreatif. Development of Mathematics Learning through Character-Based Scaffolding Approach AbstractThe problem in the field shows that many teachers have not been able to develop learning tools that are adapted to students' abilities. so the teacher's function that should be innovative, creative, directing, guiding and providing solutions to problems faced by students cannot run optimally. This development study aims to produce valid, practical and effective learning tools through character-based scaffolding approaches referring to the Thiagarajan model. The instruments used were independent character observation sheets, creative thinking skills, teacher's ability to manage classrooms, student response questionnaires, validation of learning devices, and TKBK instruments. The research subjects were 33 students of SMAN 1 Tanjung class X.MIPA 2. The results showed that the learning tools developed were valid, positive response of students 87%, Mathematics learning is declared effective by (1) completeness of class average 76.70 and achieving classical completeness 85%, the positive influence of the character of independence and skills on the ability to think creatively by 0.782,  and there is a significant difference in the creative thinking ability of the experimental class with an average of 76.70 better than the control class of 70.24Keywords: scaffolding approach, character, creative thinking.
