This study aims to analyze the relationship between character and learning outcomes of Physical Education at middle school students. The type of research used in this research is quantitative correlation research with a total sample of 30 students. The research instrument is a implementation character education at school. The results of the research are that there is no significant relationship between character and learning outcomes of Physical Education at Middle school students. Thus it can be seen that character values do not have an impact on improving learning outcomes in the Physical Education subject in Junior High School students, this is because the implementation of character in the physical education subject has not yet been implemented properly, so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes who are still below the limit value.

Abstract

This research is a literature study that aims to explore the relationship between carbohydrate consumption and athlete performance and health, especially female athletes who run long distances. This study uses the method of literature study or literature review using secondary data from scientific journal articles. Article searches are conducted through various platforms such as Google Scholar, EBSCO, ScienceDirect, and Proquest using keywords related to carbohydrate consumption in female long-distance runners. The inclusion criterion for articles is that they must be scientific journal research articles conducted in the UK with the main subject female athletes long-distance runners and the topic relates to carbohydrates. Articles that meet these criteria are then further analyzed Through an analysis of 8 scientific journal articles, it was concluded that carbohydrate intake has a crucial role in improving athletes' performance and endurance, as well as preventing the risk of low energy availability that can have a negative impact on health. In addition, research also highlights the need for adjustments in carbohydrate intake based on environment and stress to maximize athletes' training and recovery abilities. These findings affirm the importance of designing a balanced diet of carbohydrates and protein to achieve the desired results in improving athlete performance and supporting healthy weight loss. This study provides a deep understanding of the importance of carbohydrate intake in supporting the performance and health of female long-distance runners, and emphasizes the need for more inclusive research to develop better nutritional interventions.

Abstract

This comprehensive literature review delves into the prevalence, risk factors, management strategies, and outcomes related to meniscal injuries, particularly focusing on young football athletes. Drawing from eight scholarly articles, it covers various aspects of meniscal injuries, including incidence rates, treatment options, rehabilitation techniques, and long-term implications. Meniscal injuries are highlighted as significant in sports, notably in high-mobility activities like football, where sudden movements and twisting motions increase the likelihood of such injuries. The review explores common treatment methods such as meniscal repair, transplantation, and partial meniscectomy, along with tailored rehabilitation approaches aimed at facilitating athletes' return to play. Research indicates that while meniscal injuries are common among athletes, particularly in contact sports like football, early detection and proper treatment are crucial to mitigate lasting effects. Understanding knee joint anatomy and biomechanics is emphasized, along with the implementation of effective rehabilitation protocols to enhance joint stability and prevent re-injury. In summary, this literature review offers valuable insights into the multifaceted nature of meniscal injuries among young football athletes. By synthesizing evidence from diverse sources, it contributes to a deeper understanding of the epidemiology, management, and rehabilitation of meniscal injuries, informing clinical practices and guiding future research in sports medicine

Abstract

This study evaluates the application of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) in sports physiotherapy, focusing on pain management, muscle recovery, and injury rehabilitation. Utilizing qualitative descriptive research based on a literature review, data were sourced from reputable scientific databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The analysis revealed that TENS effectively manages pain by altering pain signals before they reach the brain, enhances muscle recovery by improving blood circulation, reducing inflammation, and accelerating healing. Additionally, TENS supports injury rehabilitation by preserving strength and muscle mass during immobilization and contributes positively to athletes' mental well-being by maintaining motivation. While TENS demonstrates various benefits, its effectiveness can vary among individuals, indicating a need for further research to optimize usage protocols and assess its impact on specific conditions in sports. In conclusion, TENS is a valuable tool in sports physiotherapy, offering significant advantages in pain relief, muscle recovery, and rehabilitation
