Abstract

This research aims to produce learning media in the form of science comic that can improve conceptual understanding and learning independence of class VI students. This development research adapts the development of 4- D model media, but only until the Develop stage. The trial design carried out is the validation test of material experts and media experts as well as teachers, limited trials and field trials. The data collection instruments use questionnaires, question sheets and validation sheets to obtain qualitative and quantitative data. The questionnaires and questions used to collect the data are also validated first. The results show that the media developed by experts is in the "very good" category, the student assessments show that this media are practical and efficient for learning so that the media is feasible to use. The results of the field test based on the data analysis, the effect-size value of concept understanding of 0.758 is in the high criterion, and the learning independence of 0.540 is in the high criterion. These results according to the effect-size analysis mean that learning media in the form of science comic can improve conceptual understanding and learning independence of class VI students in the high category.

Abstract

Bener Village is one of the villages in Majenang District. MSMEs in this village experienced a decline in income. They market their products conventionally or open physical stores. To increase their income, they need training to market their products in different ways, such as using internet marketing through social media. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding and training about the use of internet marketing via social media in marketing for MSMEs. The instruments used were questionnaires, laptops, smartphones and LCD projectors. Data was obtained from a questionnaire and then the percentage was calculated. The result of this service is an increase in participants' understanding of internet marketing and an increase in product sales for MSME players.

Abstract

Penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar perlu diterapkan sebagai alat bantu dalam proses penyampaian materi dari guru kepada siswa untuk menjadikan siswa lebih aktif dan memiliki keterampilan seperti keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kembali penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kajian pustaka menggunakan metode kuantitatif meta analisis dan kualitatif sistematis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari jurnal-jurnal nasional selama 5 tahun taerakhir, ada 10 artikel yang relevan dengan judul yang kemudian dikaji untuk menarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari kajian pustaka ini adalah bahwa ada beberapa model dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, seperti model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL), inkuiri, dan Discovery Learning, serta pendekatan Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS), Socio Scientific Issues (SSI), dan Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Selain itu, penggunaan multimedia interaktif berpengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan kajian pustaka yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar.
