Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of inquiry model by based laboratory toward the conceptual changes of Senior High School students on photosynthesis concept. The method used in this reseach was weak  experimental design with the one group pretest-postest design by expansion. The research procedures done were: (1) preliminary study of student conception gaining on photosynthesis concept; (2) implementation of research learning and data gaining; (3) analysis and discussion. The results of changes analysis show that there are changes occured significantly with various types of conceptual changes. It can be concluded that the inquiry model by laboratory based has influenced the conceptual changes of Senior High School students on photosynthesis concept. Keywords: inqury model by laboratory based; conceptual changes; photosynthesis Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh implementasi model inkuiri berbasis laboratorium terhadap perubahan konseptual siswa SMA pada konsep fotosintesis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah weak  experimental dengan desain the one group pretest-postest design dengan perluasan. Prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan secara garis besar adalah: (1) studi pendahuluan penjaringan konsepsi siswa pada konsep fotosintesis; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran penelitian dan penjaringan data; (3) analisis dan pembahasan. Hasil analisis perubahan konseptual menunjukkan terjadi perubahan konseptual yang signifikan, dengan berbagai tipe perubahan konseptual. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah model inkuiri berbasis laboratorium berpengaruh terhadap perubahan konseptual siswa SMA pada konsep fotosintesis.
