Abstract

Era Industri 4.0 dengan ditandai perkembangan industri dan salah satu hasil perkembangan yang sangat familiar dengan masyarakat adalah gawai. Pola atau gaya hidup masyarakat yang sudah semakin dinamis menjadi pemicu terjadinya faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pola perilaku. Kebiasaan menggunakan perangkat digital ini juga salah satu penyebabnya pada siswa karena penyediaan ragam permainanserta belajar yang minim membuat pola perilaku tersebut berubah karena penggunaan gawaiyang berlebihan. Tujuan penelitian untuk menjelaskan perilaku siswa dalam menggunakan gawai,membuktikan dampak penggunaan gawai terhadap penyimpangan perilaku siswa,menemukan upayapengendalian guru terhadap penggunaangawai, mendeskripsikan dampak pengendalian gawai terhadap perilaku siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan design studi kasus.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir semua siswa MI kelas V mempunyai gawai sendiri. Perilaku mereka dalam menggunakan gawai sebanyak 44% game online, 31% youtube, 19% instagram, 3% whatsapp, dan 3% facebook. Durasi mereka bermain gawai sebanyak 11% ≤ 1 jam, 42% 1-2 Jam, dan 47% ≥ 2 jam. Dampak negatif penggunaan gawai:sering main game online/offline, malas belajar, bermain dengan teman yang sama-sama mempunyai gawai, berteman dengan teman yang punya gawai, tidak mau bermain dengan teman sebaya secara umum, suka berkumpul hanya untuk mabar (main bareng) game online, marah ketika gawai diminta oleh orang tua, gawaidianggap merupakan sumber utama untuk belajar sehingga sumber lain dianggap tidak perlu, gawaidianggap merupakan sumber kebahagiaan, gawaidianggap satu-satunya teman bermain, meminta gawai agar sama dengan temannya, dan meminta gawai karena barang dianggap keren. Upaya guru mengendalikannya: edukasi mengenai gawai, sanksi tegas,dan koordinasi dengan para orang tua. Dampakpengendalian gawai terhadap perilaku siswa: bersikap positif dalam menggunakan gawai, fokus belajar, bersosialisasi langsung dengan teman sebaya, dan siswa suka melakukan kegiatan positif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe how Ma’had Al-Jami’ah designed the message of religious antiradicalism in Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN, State Islamic Institute) Salatiga. In this study, communication design was interpreted as a creative strategy from Ma’had Al-Jami’ah through informative and transformative messages. The strategy started from how the idea was expressed and who would be the messenger. This study used a qualitative method with descriptive case studies. The collecting data techniques in this study were in depth interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results obtained from this study were that although there is no antiradicalism communication design that is detailed, structured, and massive and is still on a small scale, but efforts to counteract radicalism have been carried out by Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Salatiga. This is done by the manager, instructor, caregiver and management. Starting from the selection of teachers, the contents of the material, and presenters in a variety of formal and informal activities, updating maqalah (quote) about the love peace message of Islam the WhatsApp group management. The recommendations found in this study are: (1) the importance of a comprehensive explanation of the antiradicalism benefits; (2) revitalizing the role of Ma’had Al-Jami’ah as an antiradicalism agent on campus; and (3) a structured and massive campaign is needed that covered the entire academic community of IAIN Salatiga, given the heterogeneous input of students.

Abstract

Sex education is not independent as a specific subject in formal education, but its material or content can be found in some subjects, such as Fiqh for the 5th Grade in the chapter of menstruation and khitan, and Natural Science for the 6th Grade in the chapter of human development and growth. This research aimed at knowing the lesson plan, their implementation, and the participation of the school committee in the implementation of sex education. This research used the qualitative method through interviews and documentation in collecting the data.  The results showed that most of the teachers of the two subjects have compiled lesson plans but have not implemented them optimally, and there is no participation of the school committee in the implementation of sex education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to construct the tafseer methodology of Hassan Hanafi in which he applies a new way of reading texts. The methodology used in this research is descriptive method using content analysis of literature. The main finding of this article is the existence of a new model of reading the text (Qur’an) offered by Hassan Hanafi in his Tafseer method. The uniqueness of the Tafseer methodology is the effort to incorporate social reality into the text. Departing from this reality, the text is "engineered" to overcome humanitarian problems. Thus the meaning of the text is directed to provide theological direction for efforts to solve human problems. In Hassan Hanafi's view, the text must be the theological foundation for humanitarian action. The essence of his specific view is that Tafseer does not pretend to seek universal meaning, but it looks for the temporal meaning that the Qur'an gives to certain generations by ignoring past and future interests. This kind of Tafseer always refers to the experience of Tafseer and its contemporary problems which put more emphasis on solving human social problems (al-manhaj al-tafsir al-ijtima'i) in the present context. The original aspect of this research is the reconstructing of Hassan Hanafi's thoughts in understanding the Qur'an progressively in opposition to the main mainstream Tafseer of the Qur'an in Muslim circles.

Abstract

This research discusses the formulation of the proposed Raperda in Salatiga City which until now has not published the Raperda Pesantren as a mandate from Law no.18 of 2019 concerning Islamic Boarding Schools. This research is expected to be a guide for the Salatiga city government in making the Raperda Pesantren so that it does not conflict with the spirit of the issuance of the Pesantren Law. This study uses an empirical juridical method by analyzing the attribution of the Islamic boarding school law to the local government in a juridical context and conducting interviews with data sources related to the non-accommodation of the regional regulation on boarding schools in Salatiga City. The results of this study conclude two things. First, the Raperda of Islamic Boarding Schools in Salatiga City has not been accommodated because the Salatiga City Government believes that Islamic boarding schools are religious matters that cannot be autonomous, or are not educational matters. Second, the formulation of the proposed Raperda in Salatiga City covers 3 main things, namely: 1) the involvement of the Salatiga City Government in the provision of education by facilitating cottages or dormitories and mosques or prayer rooms; 2) the involvement of the Salatiga City Government in the Islamic boarding school's missionary function; and 3) the involvement of the Regional Government in the function of community empowerment.

Abstract

The object of this article is to explore how different Muslim groups are responding globalization and how a globalization impacts on Muslim life. This is library research with the sociology of religion as the main perspective. There are four Muslim types on responding of globalization, namely a traditionalist, a liberal modernist, a fundamental revivalist, and an Islamist-transform. The uniqueness of the study is not only how the four Muslim groups respond on globalization, but also the contestation among the groups in a public space.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the trauma-healing process with a religious psychosocial approach to the children of the terrorists. Qualitative method is used to describe the trauma healing process analytically. The subjects in this study were 10 children of perpetrators of acts of terrorism in Surabaya, Magetan, Banten, and Bogor, who were cared for at the Islamic Boarding School, the Central Java Fostering House, Indonesia. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. This study found that the children of the terrorists have traumas in the form of feelings of excessive threat, remembering repeated and continuous events, and feeling helpless. To get rid of this trauma, the Central Java Islamic Boarding School conducted trauma healing with a religious psychosocial approach through three phases. First, creating a sense of security and stabilizing emotions. Second, training the children to make peace with the trigger of the trauma. Third, training the children to naturally socialize with the pesantren, school, and community environment. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of psychological, social, and religious approaches in trauma healing. The implication of this research is to enrich the trauma-healing model of the children of the terrorists.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menjelaskan latar belakang lahirnya streotip antara kurikulum agama dan kurikulum umum dalam penyelenggaran pendidikan di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah historis, menggunakan analisis deskriptif, dengan kajian pustaka sebagai sumber utama dalam pembahasan. Temuan penting dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sterotip kurikulum umum dan agama merupakan agenda yang dirancang dan terskenario secara sistematis, yang dilakukan oleh pengambil keputusan pada masa kolonialisme untuk membenturkan hubungan antar komunitas.  Implikasi dari streotip ini mengakibatkan pembelahan ilmu yang terkategori pada kelompok ilmu agama dan ilmu umum. Selanjutnya perlu dilakukan pengintegrasian ilmu dengan melibatkan nilai agama pada pendidikan umum, dan memasukkan rasionalitas pada ruang ilmu keagamaan. Aspek orginalitas dari penyajian artikel ini terletak pada pengungkapan aspek kebijakan yang ditunjukkan pada seolah-olah keberpihakan pada kedua kurikulum yang diciptakan melalui perumusan kebijakan dan penganggaran.
