Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and the level of stress patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This research method using descriptive correlation design with the cross-sectional approach. The study is conducted at Arifin Achmad General Hospital to 42 respondents with type 2 diabetes mellitus, taken by accidental sampling technique. Measuring instrument uses family supports questionnaire to measure the level of family support and Depression Anxiety Stress Scale questionnaire to measure the level of stress. The analytical method used is the analysis of univariate and bivariate Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The results show that there are a relationship between family support and stress level of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with p = 0.000 <α = 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there a significant relationship between family support and the level of stress of patient with diabetes mellitus type 2. Based on the results of this study, the family of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus are expected to provide family support to minimize stress levels, because of low family support can increase stress levels of patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. Abstract This study aims to describe the public perception to people with HIV/AIDS. This research method is descriptive survey. This study conducted in the community society of Rejosari Village, District of Tenayan Raya, Pekanbaru City. The amount of samples were 93 respondents that appropriate with inclusion criteria and using simple random sampling technique. This research used questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis was used univariate analysis. The results showed that most of the respondents had a negative perception (68,8%) about people who have HIV/AIDS. The result is expected to the public to change the perceptions about HIV/AIDS, so not to be hated the infected person but hate the disease to make people with HIV/AIDS.can improve their quality of life and can live decently together with other communities. Abstract The copping strategies are ways in which individuals in a feel completing the stress .The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with coping in patients cancer undergoing therapy in Islamic Hospital Ibnu Sina Pekanbaru. The design used in this research descriptive correlative with cross-sectional design. This research was conducted in a Mina room Hospitalization involving 41 respondents. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. Measuring tool used is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate test Ch- square. The results showed that there was significant relationship between the variables of self-efficacy with coping patients undergoing treatment (p value = 0.047). The results of this study are expected to be used as input for the hospital to pay more attention to cancer patients coping so as to improve the quality of service caring and facilitate patient comfort in therapy. Abstract Technology is an important thing in our daily life to do social activity and to communicate with other people. As the technology develop faster, smartphone put in appearance. Not only adults are using smartphones but also school-aged children. Childrens that use smartphones wisely, they will get good cognitive ability. This research aimed to determine the correlation between using smartphones and school-aged children’s cognitive ability. The design of this research was descriptive correlational with cross sectional approach. Study was conducted in SDN 039 Pekanbaru with 140 samples were selected using stratified random sampling technique. This research used questionnaire that has been validity and realibility tested. The analysis use were univariat analysis to find the frequency distribution and bivariat analyses using chi-square test. The result showed that there was correlation between using smartphones and school-aged children’s cognitive ability with p value (0,000) < α (005). Parents should control their school-aged children’s from negative ways of using smartphone. Keywords: School-aged children, cognitive ability, smartphones use

Abstrack The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between family support for the alopecia patient's dignity. This research uses descriptive correlation research design with cross sectional approach. These samples included 76 respondents drawn based on inclusion criteria using purposive sampling techniques and chi square test. The results based on the respondents characteristics, shows the majority are mid adulthood (26-45 years) as many as 45 people (59.2%), the majority of respondents are female as many as 53 people (69.7%), the majority of respondents are married status as 68 (89.5%) with the majority of families who accompany respondents are husband / wife as many as 51 people (67.1%), the majority of respondents ever undergone chemotherapy to 3 of 20 people (26,3%) and chemotherapy to 4 is 20 people (26,3%) and the majority of the 76 respondents who do not use the veil is as many as 40 people (60.5%). The majority of respondents who have hight family support amounted to 44 (57.9%) and the majority of respondents who have hight dignity as many as 43 people (56.6%). Statistical test results between family support for the alopecia patient's dignity which obtained p value (0.00) < α (0.05) so that it can be concluded there is a significant correlation between family support to post chemotherapy patient’s dignity. The results of this study recommends that families can be a support system to provide motivation and encouragement that as to facilitate and provide information on the treatment of hair loss experienced by alopecia patien’s. Abstrack This study’s objectives are to determine Qur'an MURROTAL therapy effectiveness of Ar-Rahman Surah to decrease pain in breast cancer patients who is using quasy experiment research design with the pretest-posttest research design with control group. Samples are 34 respondents who is divided into 17 experimental group and 17 control group is taken based on inclusion criteria using purposive sampling technique. Measuring instruments used in the group is the observation sheet in the form of pain intensity scale NRS (Numeric Rating Scale) with a scale of 1-10. The analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney test. The results indicate an average pain intensity in patients with breast cancer after given Qur'an MURROTAL therapy of Ar-Rahman Surah in the experimental group is 2.84 and in the control group that is not given Qur'an MURROTAL therapy of Ar-Rahman Surah is 4.86. The statistical results obtained p value (0.000) <α = 0.05, so it can be concluded that the Qur'an MURROTAL therapy of Ar-Rahman Surah is effective to pain intensity reduction in breast cancer patients.
