Abstract

Tilapia fish industry solid waste is resulting from the process of weeding, washing, and preparation. Tilapia fish industry solid waste has a high content of organic material. This would give to environmental issues when waste disposed into the environment. Therefore, an alternative processing by converting solid waste into biogas from Tilapia fish industry solid waste with anaerobic process. This research aims to enhancement of biogas production from Tilapia fish industry solid waste by using a rumen as a starter. The treatment was by dilution and stirring intencity in a samples with crushed and without crushed. This research is an experimental-laboratoris, where research is done in a scale laboratory. Methods used to research is a batch reactor using in anaërobic fermentation process. The results of this research show that Fish tilapia industry solid waste can generate biogas after rumen fluid with anaerobic processes continuously until 20 days. On the variable of the total volume production results in dilution of wastewater occur at the highest addition of water 150 ml with the treatment without chrushed i.e. 816 ml. On the variable total production volume result of stirring biogas high occur in stirring 3 x 150 ml with the dilution of the treatment without chrushed i.e. 1057 ml. On these variables was determine the influence measurement of chemical oxygen demand (COD) allowance against the production of biogas produced. The efficiency removal of COD occur at the highest stage without stirring sample A 100 ml a dilution that is 91%. The whole pH measurements on a variable decrease from the initial pH values 7 to pH 5.

Abstract

Abstract

Coal is the largest natural resource in Indonesia and has a vital role in global energy in various industries. PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA), a mining contractor in South Kalimantan, faces problems with manual reporting being late and prone to errors. This project aims to speed up the digitization of the reporting process by providing PPA Team devices in the Heavy Equipment (A2B) and Support units. This is in line with the commitment of the PPA Mining Work Safety, Environment and Quality (K3PLM) Policy. This implementation starts from observation and data collection by selecting SS6 devices and creating designs for each unit. Continue with device installation, analyze problems, and repair installation. Following, carry out trials and socialize the use of the device to operators. With the implementation of the PPA Team application on the SS6 Monitor, Operators at PPA can independently input data on operational activities, including check-in / check-out units. It will reduce paper in operational reporting by providing an SS6 Monitor device. In addition, cost calculations can be adjusted to actual data, and operators can monitor unit Hour Meter (HM) data and operational activities directly on the SS6 Monitor. This reduces the duration of data input time, but also reduces the intensity of crowding on communication radios, and minimizes data input errors. Therefore, optimizing operational monitoring at PPA by installing devices on units can increase efficiency, including HM input for cost calculations, efficient unit HM reporting, fast check-in / check-out processes, digital unit breakdown reporting for more efficient communication, rapid digital validation of P2H, and moving from paper forms to digital tools for more sustainable work practices.

Abstract

The coal mining industry faces significant safety challenges due to hazardous working environments and manual monitoring processes, particularly involving Tower Lamp units. These activities expose employees to risks, including harsh weather and operational incidents, leading to potential accidents and financial losses. This study proposes an intelligent safety control system employing real-time remote monitoring technology to mitigate these risks. The system enables centralized control of Tower Lamps, reducing manual interactions, improving energy efficiency through automated lighting adjustments, and enhancing workplace safety. The methodology includes designing and implementing a monitoring system with remote control capabilities supported by real-time data analysis. Expected outcomes include reduced work accidents, optimized lighting management, and streamlined operations, showcasing a scalable model for broader industrial applications. This technological innovation demonstrates a practical solution for improving safety and operational efficiency in coal mining environments.
