Abstract

Water quality sampling and monitoring of village well as a regular monitoring each quarter in a year for Rembang Steam Power Plant 2 x 315 MW was one part of EIA implementation study. This research aim to analysis the most impact occurrence that forecasted as a hypothetical important impact which is cause environmental change base on water quality sampling and monitoring from operational activity in first quarter (TW 1). Implementation method was used water sampling in 2(two) resident well and 6 (six) monitoring well in Trahan and Leran village, then the water sample was analyze in laboratory refer to the raw quality which has been set. The monitoring result on the residents wells quality was generally known that in the Trahan village residents wells (AB-1) found parameter that exceed quality standard i.e. total dissolved solids (TDS, come from river seepage and rainfall runoff), Chloride and Hardness,the high concentration some parameters, both exceed the quality standard as well as have a high critical level, generally was not caused by the operational activities of Rembang Steam Power Plant. Monitoring result from 6 (six) monitoring wells in location of Rembang Steam Power Plant was found parameters in several point that exceed the quality standard i.e. Turbidity in AB-3, organic chemical substance (KmnO4) in AB-3 and AB-7, TDS in AB-3 (monitoring wells 1), AB-4 (monitoring wells 2), AB5 (monitoring wells 3) and AB-7 (monitoring well 5), and AB-8 (monitoring wells 6). While the content of heavy metals that detected include arsenic, cadmium, lead, and selenium on AB-3.

Abstract

The problem in dry season is about water availability, while during wet season there are often several puddles in an area in Jegreg Village in Nganjuk Regency. This is due to the increasing need of the population which is not in line with the development of water supply facilities and infrastructure. In this study, the authors make an analysis related to this problem, by planning a reservoir that can be used to accommodate water during the rainy season so that can be used to reduce floods.Based on the analysis, the dead storage volume (Sediment) are 9,49 m3,  and the effective storage volume are 68,96 m3and then the total storage volume are  78,45 m3 . The height of ponds is 3 meters , with the spillway type is side channel spillway with 0,5 meter of  height. In elevation +40,50 the width of spillway are 17,15 meters. In stability analysis, the analysis used in the slope stability of the reservoir is the Bishop method with  Geostudio2012 application and from the results of the analysis, the safety number meets the requirements. For the analysis of spillway safety against shear and rolling forces, in normal, flood condition, and earthquakes condition, the safety figures meet the requirement.

Abstract

The structural integrity of a structure in a construction is very important. In a weir, an energy dissipator is an important part in the spillway system which is useful for reducing the energy that occurs due to hydraulic jump affected by high flow velocity. High flow velocity produces high energy with a large destructive force causes scouring at the bottom of the channel and results in disruption of the structural integrity of the weir. To keep the hydraulic jump close to the spillway and stilling basin, it is necessary to lower the base of stilling basin. This study aims to determine the hydraulic condition of lowering the base of stilling basin and to determine the condition of energy dissipation of lowering the base of stilling basin. This study is useful as an alternative for designing and planning energy dissipator in the spillway system. To determine the efficiency of energy dissipation, experiment was carried out by conducting several alternatives, Original Series, Series I, Series II, Series III, Series IV, Series V and with several discharge flow experiments. Series V is the most efficient of energy dissipation among all experimental alternatives. Keutuhan struktur bangunan pada suatu konstruksi adalah hal yang sangat penting. Pada bendung, peredam energi merupakan bangunan penting pada sistem pelimpah yang berguna untuk meredam energi yang terjadi akibat loncatan air yang dipengaruhi oleh kecepatan aliran yang tinggi. Kecepatan aliran yang tinggi menghasilkan energi yang tinggi dengan daya rusak yang besar yang menyebabkan penggerusan pada dasar kolam olak dan mengakibatkan terganggunya keutuhan struktur bangunan bendung. Untuk menjaga agar  loncatan air tetap dekat dengan sistem pelimpah dan kolam olak, maka perlu dilakukan penurunan dasar kolam olak. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi aliran sebelum dan sesudah penurunan dasar kolam olak dan untuk mengetahui kondisi peredaman energi sebelum dan sesudah penurunan dasar kolam olak. Studi ini bermanfaat sebagai alternatif perencanaan dan pemilihan peredam energi pada sistem pelimpah bendung. Dalam upaya mendapatkan nilai efisiensi peredaman energi terbaik, penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan beberapa alternatif penelitian, mulai dari Seri Original, Seri I, Seri II, Seri III, Seri IV dan Seri V dan dengan beberapa percobaan aliran debit. Seri V adalah alternatif penelitian terbaik sebab memberikan nilai efisiensi peredaman energi terbaik di antara semua alternatif penelitian.

Abstract

The cause of food shortages in several areas in Tulungagung Regency is due to a decrease in agricultural productivity as a result of a decrease in the performance of the irrigation system, such as what happened in the Kedung Bantal Irrigation Area. In an effort to prevent the decline in the performance of the irrigation system, monitoring of the performance of the irrigation system is conducted. Irrigation system performance index is needed to determine feasibility and solutions, so to simplify the calculation of the irrigation system performance index value helped by using the PDSDA-PAI Version 2.0 software. Based on the results of the irrigation system performance index assessment using the PDSDA-PAI version 2.0 software, the performance index value was 77.35%, while for the calculation of the irrigation system performance index value using blank, the performance index value was 74.13%. The difference in the calculation of the irrigation system performance index value that occurs is due to differences in the assessment parameters between the PDSDA-PAI Version 2.0 software and blanks, however the results of the assessment of the two methods state that the conditions of the Kedung Bantal Irrigation Area are in good condition and only require maintenance activities. Penyebab terjadinya kekurangan pangan di beberapa wilayah di Kabupaten Tulungagung dikarenakan adanya penurunan produktivitas pertanian sebagai dampak dari penurunan kinerja sistem irigasi, seperti yang terjadi pada Daerah Irigasi Kedung Bantal. Sebagai upaya untuk mencegah turunnya kinerja sistem irigasi maka dilakukan pemantauan terhadap kondisi kinerja sistem irigasi. Indeks kinerja sistem irigasi diperlukan untuk menentukan kelayakan dan solusi, sehingga untuk mempermudah perhitungan nilai indeks kinerja system irigasi dibantu dengan menggunakan software PDSDA-PAI Versi 2.0. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian indeks kinerja sistem irigasi dengan menggunakan software PDSDA-PAI Versi 2.0 diperoleh nilai indeks kinerja sebesar 77,35%, sedangkan untuk perhitungan nilai indeks kinerja sistem irigasi dengan menggunakan blangko didapatkan nilai indeks kinerja sebesar 74,13%. Selisih perhitungan nilai indeks kinerja sistem irigasi yang terjadi disebabkan oleh perbedaan parameter penilaian antara software PDSDA-PAI Versi 2.0 dengan blangko, akan tetapi hasil penilaian dari kedua metode menyatakan bahwa kondisi Daerah Irigasi Kedung Bantal dalam keadaan baik dan hanya memerlukan kegiatan pemeliharaan.
