Abstract

Heavy metal pollution is one of the problems that often occur in coastal area. The coastal is a very important for fishing areas. Observations of heavy metal content in coastal waters Belawan was done in June − July 2014. The purpose of this study was to analyze the content of heavy metals Cd and Pb in water, sediment and Antique Ark (Anadara antiquata) at Belawan coastal waters. Determination station using purposive sampling method. Water quality measurements, including: pH, salinity, DO, temperature, brightness and depth. The results showed the water content of Pb in the range of 0,2 − 0,3 mg/l has been passed through the sea water quality standard that allowed 0,008 mg/l and the content of Cd in water < 0,006 mg/l. The content of Pb in the sediments from 16,1 − 25,6 mg/kg have not passed the quality standards set by the American (1995) and Chinese (2002) was equal to 450 mg/kg and 130 mg/kg respectively and the content of Cd in sediments < 0,006 mg/kg. Average heavy metal content of Antique Ark (Anadara antiquata) in the coastal waters of Belawan for (Pb: 3,6 − 5,6 mg/kg and Cd: 1,5 − 1,6 mg/kg), this value has passed the quality standard which has been established that for Pb: 1,5 mg/kg and Cd: 1,0 mg/kg respectively so it is not suitable for consumption.Keywords: Antique Ark, Heavy Metal, Coastal, Pollution, Cadmium, Lead

Abstract

This descriptive research has several objectives: First, to explain about elders according to the Bible. Second, to explain the use of the Biblical concept of elders in the GKPI Almanac. The results of this research are: First, elders in the concept or Bible notes are in plural form, this can mean that the ministry of elders is a team ministry. Second, according to the Bible, an elder is a leadership position in a local church or congregation, one of whose duties is to shepherd the congregation. Third, the requirements for becoming a church elder according to the Bible include requirements for personal life, family life and requirements for relating to social life. Fourth, the nature and position of elders according to the GKPI Almanac are in harmony with the concepts in the Bible. Fifth, the requirements for elders according to the GKPI Almanac are in accordance with the concepts in the Bible. Sixth, the main duties of elders in the GKPI Almanac are in accordance with the Bible, but there is a little less emphasis on providing an example for congregation members. Seventh, the main duties of elders in the GKPI Almanac are described in greater or greater detail.

Abstract

The background to this Community Service Activity (PkM) is: First, there is a need among congregation members for speakers/lecturers/who can speak Javanese so that the participants better understand the material for faith formation, in the context of commemorating Good Friday and Easter. Second, there is a need to refresh the commitment of congregation members in their faith in Jesus Christ. Third, there is a need for a correct understanding of Good Friday and Easter for the general public, so that they get the correct information about this. The aim of this Community Service activity is as follows: First, so that the message of the lecture about the coming of Jesus who gives life and abundance (John 10:10b) can be captured or understood more clearly by the recipients of this PkM service, because it is delivered in Javanese . Second, to explain the material for community service through faith formation lectures. Third, to determine respondents' satisfaction as participants in this community service activity. The results of this devotion are: First, faith formation material with the theme "Christ came to give life and abundance" including that Jesus is the door to guaranteeing safety and security, Jesus came to give life and abundance and Jesus guides the lost sheep. The level of satisfaction of the participants with the material and its delivery is at the level of hight (85,11%).
