Abstract

Transportation has become an important part for human life, not least in Indonesia. People use transportation to support all aspects of life. Activities are supported by vehicles or means of transportation such as economy, education, social, and culture.Indonesia is no longer a country left behind and can’t be underestimated. With the already developed technology the country has been able to make real objects of transportation design by the nation's children. Although still pioneering but it can show great potential one day people are able to make a good transportation, in accordance with the special needs in Indonesia.Indonesia is a country with the biggest diversity of flora and fauna. Base on Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nation (FAO) in 2010 that Indonesia forest keeping 289 gigaton carbon and has crucial role on maintaining the stability of the world climate.Unfortunately, forest damage in this country are still apprehensive. Base on Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Indonesia, at least 1,1 million hectares or 2% from Indonesia forest shrink in every year.The biggest damage or threat to natural forest in Indonesia is illegal logging, forest fires, and exploitation either for residential development, industry, or encroachment as well. The damage wich getting worse causing disruption of the forest ecosystem stability and the surrounding environment.With technological advances and knowledge that this country had included understanding of every related authorities needs hopefully this design became new inovation that can support facilities and infrastructure forest fire management in Indonesia

Abstract

Desain Alat Memasak Untuk Aktivitas Pendakian Gunung merupakan suatuperancangan tugas akhir yang membantu memberikan serta menyajikaninformasi mengenai hasil rancangan penelitian,analisa pada alat memasak yangsudah ada, yang dilakukan pada kawasan gunung rinjani, menggunakan carapengumpulan data dengan cara mendaki langsung gunung rinjani, wawancaradengan polisi hutan di gunung rinjani serta anggota Wanadri tahun 2012 (TAPAKBARA ).Serta membandingkan alat masak yang sudah ada sebelumnya sertabahan bakar yang menjadi keresahan para pendaki gunung,kehadiran alatmemasak yang sudah ada belum membuat pendaki merasa nyaman,aman danpuas dibutuhkan alat memasak yang irit bahan bakar seperti metanol,sensorsuhu serta isolasi panas yang berguna mengurangi paparan suhu luar agarmemasak menjadi lebih efektif,

Abstract

The export-based rattan industry plays an important role for the country's foreign exchange, one of which is the export of rattan products has become the main source of income for the community in Trangsan Village, Sukoharjo Regency. However, small-scale rattan industry producers still have many limitations in developing product design in their companies. Most of the rattan industry in Trangsan Village still produces its products based on the demand of global market buyers, and the quality is determined by the buyer. This research focuses on the analysis of furniture design for the export market in Trangsan Village. The purpose of the research is to determine the impact of the post-Covid-19 Pandemic on the design development process for export rattan furniture products and how design plays a role in product innovation. This research uses the method of literature study and field observation with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the research show that rattan furniture manufacturers still have obstacles in developing designs. This research is expected to open opportunities for further research, contributing to the development of design innovation.
