<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh: (1) motivasi kerja terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan, (2) kompensasi terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan dan (3) pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kompensasi terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT Sun Star Motor Cabang Negara. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kausal. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Sun Star Motor Cabang Negara yang berjumlah 30 orang, sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi kerja, kompensasi, dan prestasi kerja karyawan PT Sun Star Motor Cabang Negara. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) for windows versi 16. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan ditunjukkan dari nilai thitung > ttabel (5.386>2.051) atau p-value < α (0.000 < 0.05), (2) kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan ditunjukkan dari nilai thitung > ttabel (4.199 > 2.051) atau p-value < α (0.000 < 0.05), (3) motivasi kerja dan kompensasi secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan ditunjukkan dari nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (31.731 > 3.354) atau p-value < α (0.000 < 0.05).Kata Kunci : motivasi kerja, kompensasi, prestasi kerja karyawan This study aimed to examining the effect of: (1) work motivation on employee performance, (2) compensation on employee performance and (3) the influence of motivation and compensation on employee performance PT Sun Star Motor Branch of the State. This study was a kind of causal research. Subjects in this study were employees of PT Sun Star Motor Branch of the State totaling 30 people, while the object of this research is the work motivation, compensation, and employee performance PT Sun Star Motor Branch of the State. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the program statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) for Windows version 16. The results of this study showed that: (1) a significant effect on work motivation on employee performance is shown from tcount > ttable (5,386> 2,051) or p-value < α (0.000 ttable (4,199> 2,051) or p-value < α (0.000> 0.05) , (3) motivation and compensation simultaneously influence on employee performance is shown on the value of Fcount > Ftable (31,731> 3,354) or p-value < α (0.000]]>
