Abstract

Problems in the study were students often use profanity in the classroom and outside the classroom, In addition students also said that the group only spent guidance only, boring; make sleepy eyes, and less open in expressing the topics covered in group counseling activities. This study aimed to describe. (1) The effectiveness of group counseling services to students of social behavior seen from the implementation of group counseling services (2) The effectiveness of group counseling services to students of social behavior seen from the benefits of group counseling services. This research is a descriptive study sought to describe the state of things as it is. The population in this study was N 12 High School Students Padang who attended group counseling services totaling 168 people. This study used a sample of 42 people with a purposive sampling technique random sampling. Instruments used to collect data in the form of questionnaires and the data were processed by using a percentage formula. The research findings revealed that the effectiveness of group counseling services to the social behavior of participants in high school students Padang N12 which includes: (1) the effectiveness of group counseling services to students of social behavior seen today considered effective implementation stage 72%. (2) The effectiveness of group counseling services to students of social behavior seen from the benefits of group counseling services classified effectively 75%. Based on the above results the authors suggested that a tutor to better understand group counseling services so as to activity group counseling services hereinafter learners more motivated to follow the activity of group counseling services.

Abstract

Waste is the remains of daily human activities from natural processes in solid form. Waste needs to be managed well so as not to damage the environment. The aim of this community service activity is (1) to provide knowledge to students at SD 1 Tanjung Senang, BandarLampung City about how waste can pollute the environment. (2) provide skills to students that waste is differentiated into several types. (3) Give students skills to process inorganic wasteecobrik useful value (4) Increasing students' creativity in processing inorganic waste into ecobricks and hand washing soap from used cooking oil (inorganic). The method used is this: 1) Lecture and discussion about waste. 2). Training on sorting waste, 3) Training on processing organic and inorganic waste into ecobricks and hand washing soap from used cooking oil (inorganic). The result of this community service activity is that it has increased the knowledge of students and teachers in the Tanjung Senang Elementary School, Bandar Lampung City regarding waste, improved skills in how to differentiate types of waste, been able to process waste into goods of use value, and increased creativity in processing plastic waste into ecobriks. . Conclusion: Community service activities for students at SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Senang increase knowledge about waste, how to manage it and provide character education for students.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Kabupaten Tanggamus terkait sistem peringatan dini bencana tanah longsor menggunakan integrasi alat sederhana dan teknologi. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi pra-survey, pematangan konsep, pelaksanaan kegiatan, pendampingan, serta evaluasi dalam bentuk workshop, bimbingan teknis, dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat, khususnya di Desa Way Kerap, Kecamatan Semaka, memberikan apresiasi dan respon positif terhadap kegiatan ini. Indikator keaktifan peserta dan kondusifitas pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mengenai sistem peringatan dini bencana tanah longsor. Selain itu, evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta. Meskipun begitu, beberapa peserta masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam mempraktekan alat teknologi pengukuran, menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan lebih intensif dalam pendidikan teknologi bagi masyarakat.
