Abstract

Providing clean water is a major concern, because water is a basic need and is essential for life and health of mankind. Sourced from the Long Term Development Plan (RPJP) Riau Province 2005-2025 that meet the needs of clean water for domestic Riau Province large part still rely on shallow groundwater and service of the Regional Water Company (PDAM). Rainwater is a source of high quality water which is available every rainy season and has the potential to reduce the pressure on the use of fresh water resources (fresh water sources). Rainwater coming from the roof of the house is usually the cleanest water alternatives that can be used as a source of clean water one of them in the District of Bengkalis. This study aims to find out alternative clean water that can be used in the District of Bengkalis and determine the volume of rain water storage and rainwater harvesting design plan or Rainwater Harvesting. In this research, modeling Rain Cycle 2 is a rainwater harvesting modeling that uses some of the data, the data are derived from primary data in the form of extensive data roofs society, data on the number of family members in the head of the family, and the data of showers field. The results of this study rainwater harvesting by using a holding tank depends on the ability of people in the District Bengkalis income as well as extensive holdings community yard individual scale to meet the needs of clean water which ensures the availability of supply of clean water with a limited number of tanks. Keywords : Rain water harvesting , Rain Cycle 2 , raw water

Abstract

Green Open Space (GOS) is one of the efforts to deal with increasing GHG emissions because it has the ability to absorb CO2 emissions. Development Area IV Pekanbaru is one of the Development Areas that has the potential to produce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, specifically in Bukit Raya Pekanbaru District. This research was conducted to determine the number of motorized vehicles and the value of CO2 emissions produced each day, as well as the value of the capacity of GOS to absorb CO2 emissions from transportation activities in Bukit Raya Pekanbaru District. The method used is recording traffic activities to calculate the amount of CO2 emissions and calculating all public green open spaces with vegetation cover in the form of grasslands and trees with a diameter of ≥ 20 cm, as well as calculating the percentage of green open space absorption capacity. The research results obtained were that the value of CO2 emissions from transportation in Bukit Raya Pekanbaru District was 67,007,898 tons of CO2/year. Meanwhile, the capacity to absorb CO2 by public green open spaces is only 1,992.32 tons of CO2/year. The results show that public green open space in Bukit Raya Pekanbaru District in terms of absorbing CO2 emissions from transportation is still insufficient with a percentage of only 2.97%.

Abstract

The number of incidents occurring on the island of Sumatra, especially West Sumatera and Jambi provinces that affect the vibration of the earthquake in Rengat City on a large scale can lead to the movement of land such as landslides and stagnant ground water sources can lead to liquefaction. The purpose of this research is to know how the arrangement of soil type at research location Rengat City and to know the location reviewed in Rengat City, and its surrounding experience potential liquefaction based on some existing penetration test data. This research was conducted to predict liquefaction potential that occurred in Rengat City of Indragiri Hulu Regency with secondary data of penetration test of konus with Seed and Idriss method (1971). The calculation of potential liquefaction prediction is done by determining the number of soil layers, estimating the weight of the soil volume, determining the soil overburden, determining the effective soil stress, determining the corrected confront resistance, calculating Cyclic Strees Ratio (CSR), calculating Cyclic Resistance Ratio (CRR). After calculating the value of Magnitude Scalling Factor (MSF) and calculating the value of safe factor by comparing the value of Cyclic Strees Ratio (CSR) with Cyclic Resistance Ratio (CRR) if the calculation <1 factor is safe then potentially liquefaction occurs. Based on the results of the analysis of the 7 locations with a total of 2 cone penetration test conus analyzed in this study in Rengat City, obtained the type of soil structure is not uniform and based on the results of analysis, from the 7 research sites with tottal 21 point penetration test konus reviewed at magnitude 5 to 10 in Rengat City Indragiri Hulu Regency. In the type of sand soil in the dominant study area can not be achieved liquefaction, this is reinforced from the calculation (SF)> 1 safe factor (SF: 1.0).

Abstract

The work environment affects employee health, especially in offices where most employees sit for long periods. One common health issue is lower back pain, which can be caused by poor posture, non-ergonomic chairs and desks, and uncomfortable work settings. Initial observations showed that many employees had improper sitting postures and workstations that did not meet ergonomic standards. This research aimed to identify the factors that cause lower back pain and to find strategies for prevention and treatment. The study was conducted at a health facility using a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 34 back-office employees participated as respondents. Data were collected through a lower back pain questionnaire, the RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) worksheet to assess work posture, interviews, and field observations. The results showed that 20 employees (58.82%) experienced lower back pain. Factors that contributed to this condition included age, length of service, physical workload (EMK), and work posture. Among these, work posture was found to be the most significant factor (p = 0.022).To reduce lower back pain among employees, several strategies were suggested: forming an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) evaluation team, improving the work environment and systems, and providing education about correct posture and back pain prevention. These steps aim to create a healthier work environment and reduce future complaints of back pain.

Abstract

Hospital is a facility in the health sector that provides services in both the medical and non-medical fields in order to improve the degree of public health. Good service in the medical field, especially radiology services, can improve health status and community satisfaction. This study aims to determine the relationship between outpatient satisfaction with radiology services at Puri Husada Tembilahan Hospital. This type of research is analytic to see the relationship between one variable and another with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples was 200 respondents determined by incidental sampling technique. The statistical test used is the Chi Square Test. The results showed that the p value was 0.000. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between outpatient satisfaction with radiology services at Puri Husada Tembilahan Hospital. It is expected that all officers at the Radiology Installation of the Puri Husada Tembilahan General Regional Hospital to maintain the level of patient satisfaction with the quality of service at the Puri Husada Tembilahan General Regional Hospital.

Abstract

Flooding is an annual problem and has a major impact on the condition of society both economically, socially and environmentally. Flooding generally occurs due to overflowing rivers or the inability of rivers to accommodate excess river water due to high rainfall. The purpose of the study was to see how flood overflow in Parit Indah is simulated into a model so that it can be visualized and planned for appropriate and efficient control or mitigation efforts. The results of the analysis with the HEC-RAS model with input data of the maximum value of rainfall intensity in the last 10 years and the planned discharge of 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 years, the results of the model exceeded the volume of the drainage channel and caused flood overflow around the beautiful ditch when the maximum rainfall intensity occurred
