Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) PT Semen Tonasa, akan terus menghasilkan limbah logam berat yang dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas perairan di sekitar areal tambak masyarakat Desa Bulu Cindea, Bungoro, Pangkep. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kualitas air dan kandungan logam berat timbale (Pb) dan cadmium (Cd) oleh pembuangan limbah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) PT Semen Tonasa di Pelabuhan Biringkassi. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu mengamati dan menganalisis parameter oseanografi fisik dan kimia. Titik pengambilan sampel berada di empat lokasi dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi geografis dan karakteristik lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan parameter kualitas air di empat lokasi pengambilan sampel, nilai pH, temperatur, dan DO tidak melebihi ambang baku mutu yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, sedangkan salinitas masih tergolong alami. Nilai BOT antara 20,22-41,08 mg/liter, melebihi baku mutu pemerintah. Kadar COD di lokasi berkisar 22,7-26,8 mg/liter, melebihi baku mutu. Kandungan Pb dan Cd di dalam air dan gastropoda (kerang), masih di bawah ambang baku mutu yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah, yaitu 0,05 ppm, Sedangkan pada sedimen di stasiun 1 dan stasiun 2 melebihi baku mutu dengan nilai 0,220 dan 0,151. Kandungan Cd dalam air dan gastropoda (kerang) di bawah ambang baku mutu yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah, yaitu 0,01 ppm, sedangkan pada sedimen di empat stasiun melebihi baku mutu, berturut-turut nilainya 0,172, 0,12, 0,06, dan 0,01.

Abstract

Arabica coffee fruit peel is a material that is abundant and cheap. The material has been used as an adsorbent in the biosorption process for the removal of metal ions of Ni(II) from wastewater. Biosorption of Ni(II) ion by dragon fruit peel was done on the variation of particle size, variation of contact time, pH and concentration. Adsorption capacity was studied by both isotherm adsorptions of Langmuir and Freundlich. The concentration of metal ions Ni(II) before and after adsorption was determined using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Results showed that the optimum time was 50 minutes and the optimum pH was 6 with 120 mesh of particle size of biosorption. Results showed that the biosorption of Ni(II) ion using Arabica coffee fruit peel fullfilled the isotherm Langmuir model with the biosorption capacity (Qo) of 18.86 mg/g. The functional group involved in metal ion biosorption of Ni(II) by the peel of coffee fruit is a hydroxyl group (-OH).

Abstract

It had been done research about biosynthesis of nanoparticle silver (AgNPs) by using extract of ketapang leaf. The characterization result spectrum UV-Vis, XRD,PSA, TEM, dan FTIR show that increasing concentration AgNO3 increase wavelength (), the best concentration AgNO3 is 1 mM with SPR at  430-432 nm. The increasing temperature tend to decrease intensity of absorption, the best temperature of synthesis is 30oC with intensity absorption 3.492 show the obtained crystal of silver with average size distribution about 47.1 nm. Based on TEM measurement, size of obtained AgNPs is 36 nm with ball shape. The –OH group responsible in reduction of AgNO3 to become AgNPs.

Abstract

Ion Cu2+ merupakan unsur yang berbahaya jika terkontaminasi ke dalam lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, keberadaannya dalam lingkungan perairan harus dikurangi. Adsorpsi merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengurangi kandungan ion Cu2+ dalam larutan. Adsorpsi ion Cu2+ oleh MCM-48-NH2 dipelajari dengan variasi waktu kontak, pH, dan konsentrasi dari Cu2+. Isotermal Langmuir dan Freundlich digunakan untuk mempelajari isotermal adsorpsi Cu2+ oleh MCM-48-NH2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adsorpsi Cu2+ oleh MCM-48-NH2 lebih sesuai dengan isotermal adsorpsi Langmuir. Nilai kapasitas adsorpsi Cu2+ oleh MCM-48-NH2 adalah 0,52 mmol g-1.Kata Kunci : Adsorpsi, MCM-48-NH2, Cu2+, isotermal Cu2+ ion is an element harmful if contaminated into the environment. Therefore, its presence in the aquatic environment must be reduced. Adsorption is one method to reduce thecontent of Cu2+ ion in solution. Adsorption of Cu2+ ion by MCM-48-NH2 was studied with variation of contact time, pH, and concentration of Cu2+ ion. Langmuir and Freundlich models were used to study the adsorption isotherm of Cu2+ by MCM-48-NH2. The result showed that adsorption of Cu2+ by MCM-48-NH2 more suitable with Langmuir models. The adsorption capacity of Cu2+ by MCM-48-NH2 was 0.52 mmol g-1.Keywords: Adsorption, MCM-48-NH2, Cu2+, isothermal

Abstract

Penelitian modifikasi silika mesopori MCM-48 menggunakan senyawa 3-APTMS telah dilakukan. Hasil modifikasi MCM-48-NH2 dapat digunakan sebagai adsorben untuk menyerap ion logam berat. Adsorpsi ion Pb2+ oleh MCM-48-NH2 dipelajari dengan variasi waktu, pH dan konsentrasi. Karakterisasi MCM-48 dan MCM-48-NH2 menggunakan Difraksi Sinar-X (XRD), FT-IR dan SEM. Isotermal Langmuir dan Freundlich digunakan untuk mempelajari isotermal adsorpsi ion Pb2+. Proses desorpsi dilakukan untuk menarik kembali ion Pb2+ dari MCM-48-NH2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu dan pH optimum untuk ion Pb2+ yaitu 60 menit dan pH 3. Adsorpsi ion Pb2+ mengikuti model isotermal Langmuir dan kapasitas adsorpsi ion Pb2+ oleh MCM-48-NH2 adalah 0,1261 mmol/g. Agen pendesorpsi yang sesuai untuk menarik kembali ion Pb2+ dari MCM-48-NH2adalah HCl.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian modul terhadap keterampilan asuhan persalinan kala II pada mahasiswa DIII Kebidanan. Metode penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental (pre-post test design). Pengambilan  Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian mahasisiswa tingkat II semester III yang aktif di sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Program Studi D III Kebidanan Pelamonia Kesdam VII Wirabuana Makassar sebanyak 46 responden. Penelitian  dilaksanakan mulai mulai bulan november sampai desember 2019.Hasil: Penelitian olah data dengan menggunakan Uji wilcoxon dengan menggunakan SPSS 24 didapatkan bahwa keterampilan mahasiswa sebelum pemberian modul tergolong kurang terampil (100%) dan setelah pemberian modul terdapat 45.7% yang terampil melakukan asuhan persalinan kala II sebanyak dan hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan keterampilan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian modul (p<0.05). Dapat Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian modul pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan persalinan kala II.

Abstract

The emphasis of midwifery education is the process of educating and enhancing the ability of individuals to become midwives who are able to carry out midwifery practices in a professional manner. To increase student graduation in the competency test, special attention is needed as well as a good learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved. One of the factors that causes the low quality of education is the factor of teaching and learning process (teaching learning). The purpose of conducting a competency test is to protect the community by providing assurance that registered entry level health workers have the required competencies. Problem-based learning model (Problem Based Learning) is a student-centered learning strategy, develops active learning, problem solving skills and field knowledge, and is based on understanding and solving problems. Study this literature through searching scientific publications in the 2017-2020 range using several databases namely Pubmed, Science Direct, and Wiley Online. as many as 7 articles that correspond to the objects discussed in the literature review with inclusion criteria and article search exclusion criteria. Pubmed literature search results N = 99, Science direct N = 67, Wiley N = 23, screening by title N = 14, Screening by Content N = 9. The use of appropriate learning methods can provide better learning outcomes, PBL is easier to apply and requires less preparation time, several techniques for applying problem based learning in the learning process: a) Paper Problem Based Learning, b) Virtual Problem-Based Learning , c) Scripting-based learning combining wearable technology, d) Hybrid Problem-Based Learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the third stage of childbirth care modules with the preceptorship method on the skills of midwifery DIII students. Quasyeksperiment research design. The results showed that the modules and preceptorship methods were better in improving the skills of students doing third stage of childbirth care. Conclusion, there was an increase in student skills in all groups namely the demonstration group, modules and demonstrations as well as the modules and preceptorship, the highest increase in the skills of third stage of childbirth care was obtained by the group given the third stage of childbirth care modules and the preceptorship method compared to the demonstration group and the modules and demonstration groups without the intervention of the third stage of childbirth care modules Keywords: Stage III, Skills, Modules, Delivery, Preceptorship
