Abstract

Abstract : The research on application of probing technique has been done to improve of student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. Form of the research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consist of two classes, namely class XI IPA 4 as the experimental and class XI IPA 5 as control class which randomly selected after had tested normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given implementing probing technique while the control class was not given implementing probing technique. Data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on the result of the final data processing t-test formula obtained tarithmetic>ttable (5,64 > 1,67) means the application of probing technique can improve student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in class SMAN 3 Pekanbaru, with category increased student achievement on experiment class including high with the normalized gain scores (N-gain) about 0,71. Abstract

Abstract: Research on the application of cooperative learning type of TGT using chem card to improve student achivement on the hydrocarbons subject at class X SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru was carried out in Mayth 2013. Purpose of this research was to determine whether the application of cooperative learning type of TGT using chem card can improve student achivement on hydrocarbons subject. This research is a design of experiment using a randomized control pretest-posttest. The sample consisted two classes of X7 as an experimental class and X5 as a control class. Experimental class with cooperative learning type of TGT using chem card and control class without TGT cooperative learning type of TGT using chem card. Analysis of the data that will be used is the t-test formula. The results of the data obtained tcount>ttable is 5,1923>1,67. It means that application of cooperative learning type of TGT using chem card can improve the student achivement on hydrocarbons subject at class X SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru with a percentage increase about 30,65%.Key words: Study achivement, Cooperative learning, TGT (Team Group Tournament), Chem card

Abstract

ABSTRAK :Research about aplication of learning Model with Lottery Card has been conducted to improvement of student’s learning achievement at compounds nomenclature and chemical reaction equation subject in SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. This research was quasi experimental with pretest-posttest design. The sample consist of two classes,class X sain 2 as the experiment class and class X Sain 1 as the control that randomly selected after normality and homogenity test. Model learning with lottery card applied in X Sains 2. Data Analysis of data used t-test formula. Result of data preparation obtained tcount>ttable is 2,79 > 1,67 It means the application of learning model with lottery card can improve student achievement on the topic compounds nomenclature and chemical reaction equation at class X SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru is 11,8%.Keyword: Learning model With lottery Card, study achievement, compounds nomenclature and chemical reaction equation
